I was pleasantly surprised with how great the food was. I love Thai food and struggle to find places that offer enough flavor in their dishes. This is not the case here, and I'm glad that they add some spice in their curries as well (not too hot though). The service was prompt, portions just the right size and the restaurant was clean. If you are in the area I would recommend you try it. The prices are great too 👍
Absolutely fantastic customer service at this wonderful family-owned restaurant. And the food was also quite tasty. We tried a few dishes like the pad thai, beef and eggplant, mushroom soup and catfish salad, all of which was good.
Have been wanting to try Thai Nakorn for a while now and when my dad came into town and wanted to try Thai for the first time, it seemed like the perfect opportunity. The food did not disappoint, we started with chicken satay then got three dishes for my dad to try. Pad Kee Moa (drunken noodles) has always been my absolute favorite so of course we got that. Also had to get the dish that started my Thai journey, Kaeng Phed Ped Yang (roasted duck in curry sauce) - was fabulous with amazing flavor. Then got roasted duck fried rice. Everything was delicious and can't wait to go back.
The best panang curry that I’ve ever had! I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this place in San Bruno. I also ordered some Tom Yum soup which was good but could have used a bit more chicken. If you’re in the area, please stop by this place! Didn’t seem too busy when I stopped by but I’m sure it gets packed around dinner time.
I had the seafood noodle with clear broth. Very flavorful and seafood are fresh. Wife had the pad ka prow, she said it's one of best dish that was done right and delicious.
Delicious food, clean, no bells & whistles but don’t need it…Recommended!
I've basically ignored this place because the exterior does not seem welcoming, but was I so wrong. The Tom Kha Kai is legit. It literally reminds me of Thailand. It is so good. And the authenticity test has been met with the sticky rice with mango. It is seasonal, and a real Thai restaurant would not serve it any less. Not a substitue version but it makes me so happy they have this dessert right. Basically, They serve it with the right type of mango, the right kind of ripeness. The presentation could be worked on but it's still delicious.
Best in town for authentic Thai cuisine. I recommend to order “ Pad Si Eww “ very tasty and “ Po Tak soup “ . Thai Tea is also great - not too sweet. Worth to visit if you come by South SF

Amazing authentic food, but unfortunately they will close shop
We’ve both dined in and done takeout couple times, and every time the food has been absolutely delicious! Super flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s family-owned and you can really feel the care in both the food and service. It’s one of our favorite places now !
Thai Nakorn is one of our favorite spots for Thai food, and even through DoorDash the quality never disappoints. We recently ordered the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, and both arrived piping hot and incredibly fresh. The Pad Thai had the perfect balance of flavor — not overly sweet, great texture, and generous portions. The Pad See Ew was smoky, savory, and full of flavor with perfectly cooked noodles. It’s impressive how well everything travels — still hot, fresh, and thoughtfully packed. You can tell they care about quality, even for delivery orders.
This place is under new management. We’ve come in already three times in the last two weeks it is that good. Apple, the restaurant owner is very kind and hospitable. The food comes out fast and hot and extremely delicious. We’ve ordered various items from the basil chicken rice, basil chicken, beef, salad, chicken noodle soup, pas kee mao, and roti dessert everything has been fantastic! Definitely recommend don’t sleep on it
This was a last minute find - Thai food is always a great option, but this place raised the bar tenfold. Atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The service was great, friendly, and fast. The Food. Omg the food was a pleasant surprise, tasteful, great flavor and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend you visit AT LEAST once well worth it. Thai Nakorn is our new favorite Thai spot. Thank you for a great meal.
Amazing authentic Thai food, service with a smile! We enjoyed our visit and will be back when we get a chance. Thank you!
We were just passing through with a long layover to catch an overseas flight. Needed a quick meal before a little late in the evening. Food was tasty and seemed healthy with lots of good fresh veggies and nice Thai flavors. The staff and service were warm and welcoming.

Always a great option for Thai been coming here for a while now it's a family owned restaurant very friendly staff husband and wife. Charming interior clean and bright. My go to there is pad Thai with chicken, the veggie tom kha kai, pad see ew and the pad kee mao all dishes are tasty and always hit the spot. Keep up the great work.
The dining room was clean and comfortable, not overly crowded with tables or plastic plants and not glaringly bright with white light. The service was prompt and courteous. The server refilled our water glasses several times. The food was well plated and delicious. We visited for our first time on a November Saturday night with light rain. We were surprised there were not more diners, or at least people picking up to-go orders. We even lucked out with a parking space one door away from the restaurant!
Spacious seating. Vegetable soup was delicious. Pineapple fried rice was tasty. Baby chicken was just ok, nothing special. Service was friendly but it was a little bit slow, because only one server did everything was absolutely not enough for dinner hours. Overall was ok. Will come back again because it was easy to find a parking.
A clean nice Thai restraunt that is local. Had the red curry, pad thai and chicken skewers. Food was flacorful a good in portion plus spicy. Make sure to let them know your heat level. I say check it out.

For $16 for a fried rice I would expect bigger portions and fresh rice at the very least , I thought ordering close to open time would guarantee freshness but I’m better off asking when a fresh batch of rice is available at this point I like the flavor but I can taste rice when it isn’t fresh or possibly made hours before it’s slightly crunchier and just not as fresh the veggies also aren’t sautéed fresh possibly previously frozen not the same cashier I’m used to either I just wanted to try this place one last time before giving up but at this point don’t waste your money on the fried rice or ask for fresh rice which should be a given for the prices they charge

We have been here before, after swimming class but I think this is new management now. We were able to be seated with 6 adults and 2 toddlers right away. After the server (only one lady) took our order it took 20 mins to get the appetizer which was just a papaya salad. In between the dishes it took 15-30 mins! That's not acceptable! We asked for the last 2 dishes and she said she put in the order but didn't ask the kitchen to cook it. What?! That makes no sense. The table next to us also did not get all their food. It seems like the to go orders that were walk in orders were done a lot quicker than the dine in. The food was mediocre and small for how much you pay as well. We will not be back.

We ordered here for take out a week before. Food was great and fast. We tried to order take out today and were greatly disappointed by the wait time. Ordered my food online, came in at the estimated time of 25 minutes and waited an additional 40 minutes... I noticed part of my order was completed. So, my food this time was mushy and poor quality compared to last time. Only 2 staff members were running the restaurant during dinner service. It was just a disappointing experience. The employee tried her best to service half the restaurant, mobile orders, and phone orders. Really disappointed and will not return.
