I used to give this location 5 stars. I'm taking away stars now because the new manager is a barney. The manager before was friendlier and her pizza was a lot better. Her crust was to die for! Who ever got rid of her must not be looking out for the customer. This new guy totally creeps me out. Resembles slim shadey in a not good way.

I’m so upset; I ordered a cheese pizza with light sauce my husband just got home with it and there is 0 sauce on it. The store refuses to answer the phone and keeps declining my call. I don’t understand how light = no sauce. I order from other Papa John’s and I’ve NEVER had this problem.

Ordered from this place with no issues multiple times. When you have an issue they will not pick up the phone and customer service is non existent. I will never order from them again.

This story is now garbage... Food has gotten progressively worse and worse over the last year. Found out from drivers they don't get paid well, terrible hours, POOR MANAGEMENT and now I just had door dash deliver my pizza.... and of course, couldn't get change. Door dash doesn't carry change. I order from here for myself and my company 2-3 times a week... NOT ANYMORE. Cheating the systems and cheating customers. For Shame. ***UPDATE*** Took me 2 minutes to find the review section and write this... then get informed. Pizza AND wings are cold. Aren't the sauced wings suppose to come with sauce? So now I have to papa Murphy my pizza from papa johns.... hmm funny how that happens.

Very strange odd manager working here he does very rude things like write messages on his blackboard out front saying people can't use their cell phones in the store. He likes to tell you how much you saved with your coupon to try to make you feel guilty. If you say something he doesn't like he gives you dirty looks. THIS MANAGER WILL MAKE YOU UNCOMFORTABLE 100% GUARANTEED!!! I will never go back to this Papa John's... ever.... I would also like to mention the Papa John's has changed its recipe they are drowning the pizza in too much sauce and they've cut the size of the crust in half... Absolutely appallingly disgusting... Papa John's will go out of business in the next few years the pizza is absolutely terrible anymore

Went to order pizza online which said it would take 30-40 minutes. After waiting 1 1/2 hours, we went into the store only to be rudely told by the female manager that the order hadn't even started and they would "start it now" (very condescendingly). When I asked for a refund, they gave it to me. However, as I was leaving, they rudely said, "Happy Halloween!" Very unprofessional and unacceptable. That manager should be reprimanded at minimum if that is how Papa John's does business. We will NEVER be back!

I work security at an HOA. Its required to have identification to enter the community. I let it slide this time at the request of the resident. Your driver claimed that her name was bianca perez and she claims to not have had her drivers license on her person. I dont know what your policy is regarding your drivers not carrying thier drivers license but, its irresponsible. There wont be a next time. Just an fyi.

0 stars. Poor customer service. Drivers are always high, forgot my soda on two seperate orders. To make matters worse i spent $50 on pizza and I received someone else's order. However, it will be the last. If you ask me, this place should be shut down. They just lost one of their best customers in San Clemente. Time to hit up San Clemente Pizza company. This staff has no idea what they are doing. I wish I could mark 0 stars. I guarantee all of the good reviews on this site, is their staff.
