Finally found my new favorite coffee shop in San Diego! 200+ 5 star ratings for a reason - coffee and handmade syrups are brilliant, cafe space is so cute and Marissa is just wonderful!
Visited for the first time today. The coffee shop is lovely as is the staff. My Americano was prepared by one of the owners themselves. I recommend, and will be back often. Also, the Americano was excellent ✨ PS - Grab a sticker!
One of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Had the Honey Cinnamon latte and it was amazing. My friend had the signature OBSL and it blew our minds. The couple who owns the coffee shop are incredibly nice and welcoming. You can tell how much they love what they do. 10000/10.
This coffee shop feels like home the moment you walk in. The staff treats you like family — they genuinely care and always take the time to make sure your drink is exactly how you like it. You’re never just another customer here. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the coffee is consistently delicious. Whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth, you’ll leave feeling cared for and caffeinated. Highly recommend! I would love more options for pastries
I love the Coffee Drop. The owners are the nicest people. They source their merch from local artists and have built an inclusive community around great coffee and kindness. They celebrated pride with cute stickers on their cups and proudly fly a pride flag year round. I highly recommend the OBSL and the Espresso Tonic. They have some really nice teas as well, the iced yuzu peach tea with house made vanilla bean simple syrup is so refreshing. They always have tasty pastries and donuts too. The prices are really great for specialty coffee! There is a parking lot, wifi, and some seats inside at a nice counter and a big outdoor patio with plenty of tables and chairs.
The honey cinnamon latte is a MUST try! Such a cute, little coffee shop. Free parking lots and a spacious outdoor area. Only a small counter space inside so just be aware! The owner/barista was so kind and gave us the full run down of their menu and what they’re all about. Going to come back many more times💕
Wonderful local coffee shop. Both the iced latte and the orange brown sugar latte were divine. Owners were lovely and space is very cozy. We will definitely become regulars.
Marissa & Evan are the best. Go support a local small business by enjoying really lovely espresso drinks today! The Espresso Tonic is our go to, but their signature OBSL is a gem as well. Plus the patio is a great spot to catch up with a pal or get some remote work done.
I’ve been coming to this café for over a year now, and it’s truly one of my favorite places in South Park. The owners, Evan and Marissa, are some of the kindest and most genuine people you’ll ever meet, always welcoming with a smile and remembering my name and my order the moment I walk in. Their coffee is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is cozy, and you can really feel the sense of community they’ve built here. It’s the kind of place that makes you look forward to your morning coffee. Highly recommend supporting this local gem! ☕💛
Visiting from Ohio and stopped in for the first time. The owners were so welcoming and took the time to explain the menu. I got their signature OBSL and it was delicious! Such a friendly spot with great coffee. ☕️
Greeted by the lovely business owners with enthusiasm even on a rainy day and after telling them I’m from out of town. I had their signature OBSL (Orange Brown Sugar Latte) and it was delicious. Absolutely perfect amount of sweetness. 10/10 would come back if I’m ever back in SD. Thanks again!

Love, love, love coming here every single day. The most amazing coffee, the most lovely baristas, and the most amazing community. My husband and I live in the neighborhood and The Coffee Drop brings us so much joy. Thank you Marissa and Evan for being you and for sharing your gifts with us. See you tomorrow!
I found this place because my coffee maker broke, and I needed my caffeine fix before I went into work. I’m glad the thing broke. I felt so welcomed to their space that they built themselves. The beverage selection is eclectic and creative with a homemade kind of feel. Awesome coffee and community made. I also like their selection of plants. 10 outta 10 recommended
The only thing better than the coffee here is the owner’s attitudes. Wonderful people who are an amazing part of the community. Buying coffee here feels like I’m contributing to something more than just a small business. I’m contributing to two great people who are working to make something in their slice of the city.
Coffee Drop is a great truly local business with cool owners and fantastic coffee. With the well established coffee scene in San Diego, there really is no reason to go to the big chain, and especially so when you can support a small business that is actually part of your community and that has a better product to boot! Thanks for the caffeine, I’ll be back to feed my addiction many more times.
We stopped in during our visit to San Diego. The Coffee Drop is a small neighborhood coffee shop owned and operated by a husband and wife. Evan, the owner, was working when we arrived. He was very friendly, welcomed us to his shop, and thanked us for supporting local business. Their coffee, and tea options were incredible. Their signature drink is the OBSL, orange brown sugar latte. My wife and I chose the espresso tonic. It is a double shot of espresso with Fever Tree tonic and orange peel. This will be my go to drink for the good chose on future visits. I highly recommend stopping in if you visit San Diego
So today 11-29-2025 was My first time at The Coffee Drop thanks to My daughter. I am here to say IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! If you are used to drip coffee I highly encourage you to try REAL COFFEE, and most likely how coffee taste when made PROPERLY. I will continue as a customer and continue to support locally not commercial. We got hot Mocha coffee 💯❤️ & OBSL AMAZING!! We also got a pastry Almond croissant and for $7 it was enough for Myself & daughter. The taste WAS OFF THE CHART absolutely DELICIOUS would recommend that as well, Not sweet just enough. Congratulations to the owners Evan & Marissa in getting a store front where you can sit and enjoy the GOODNESS of their coffee, pastry and keep our local business where they need to be OPEN 💯❤️🔥🔥🔥
A cute coffee shop with delicious coffee! We loved it so much, we came back the next day while visiting the area. we tried their signature latte, vanilla latte and the honey cinnamon latte; all were really good. Their espresso tasted very smooth. The couple who own this were also super sweet! We enjoyed speaking to them. The pastries were good and vegan which was nice!
The menu is small and simple but the best coffee hands down!!! I love that theyre consistent and i know i'm always getting a GOOD latte. Good pastry options although, they go by quick! The owners are also just lovely and friendly. I love them. And love supporting them!!!

Our favourite local coffee spot in San Diego. Coffee is served with ❤️ and you can taste the passion for coffee. We have visited from Germany a few times now and they recognized us from the very beginning.
The Coffee Drop is a cozy cafe with delicious coffee options and pastries! Oat milk is the base for all drinks. I usually go for a iced vanilla latte or the OBSL which is a fresh take for a latte! Staff are kind and personable so it's easy to keep coming back.

My husband and I had Coffee Drop as a vendor at our wedding in June and all of our guests loved them. They are so friendly and truly care about the quality of their coffee products. I highly recommend you stop by and get an OBSL and chat away with the team. Top coffee in San Diego!
Stopped by on our way to Tijuana and they were so welcoming! Delicious coffee and pan dulce with vegan options. Would definitely recommend you stop by if you like friendly service, good pasties, yummy drinks, and want to support a small business!
The almond milk cortado was PERFECTION! This was my first time trying it with anything other than regular milk and I'm a fan. The vanilla bean concha was a spur of the moment decision it was a bit on the day old side, we didn't finish it. But the cortado more than made up for it. Will definitely return here.
