Great quality craft brewery in North Park with a punk rock vibe. Fall has a relatively small scale production capacity, but the beers here are great. I had the Nervous Breakdown IPA which had somewhat of a melon nose/flavor to it. I also sampled a few other beers, and I really liked them all. I'd be a frequent visitor of Fall if I lived in San Diego. I'll be back next time I'm in town. It's also a dog/kid friendly spot; just make sure your dogs are not running crazy in the brewery. Side note: There is usually a food truck outside the brewery for those who like to visit breweries where they can also get food.
A perfect neighborhood hang. Great beers Brilliant service.
Great vibe with the punk rock posters! Miguel was the most personable bartender we saw all night in the Northbrook area. He definitely knows the city and gave some great recommendations. Beers were all excellent…best place we stopped tonight. Thanks Miguel!
North Park location has a fun vibe, fun atmosphere with great music, lots of seating available, and really enjoy all of the beers. We are close enough to walk, but have friends meet us who have easily found off street parking (early evening). Check it out!!
Awesome brewery and always a good pop up for food out front!
Great beer. It's hard to stand out in San Diego but they're doing it. Pilsners, lagers, sours, Hef's, Pale Ales, San Diego IPAs, hazy IPAs and stouts. These guys are doing it all and doing it well. Who else would come up with a coffee kettle sour with blueberry? Seriously?!?! It just works. Every trip to San Diego this is one of my first stops. Keep it up.
I stumbled on this place while waiting for my wife's spa treatment. I had the baby with me and I can only do so much walking I finally decided to stop in to take a little break. Luckily our baby fell asleep from walking around the area. They had plenty of outdoor seating which was really nice and not to mention the assortment of beers to choose from. The staff was very helpful and managed to get their "Oh Yeah" beer and it was just what I needed. Haven't had a chance to taste all of them, but I'm sure I'll be back again.
This cool little brewery was my second stop on a self directed brewery tour. The open concept building with a full view of the stainless steel equipment makes a great atmosphere. I ordered a flight of their beers and was pretty impressed with all of them. I tend to favor Belgians and IPA styles and Fall delivers on both. If you are in this neighborhood I definitely recommend this place. If you check Google Maps you will see many other breweries within walking distance.
Fall Brewing Company has been on my list forever and it absolutely lived up to the hype—and now it needs to be on yours! The space is incredible, with a laid-back indoor/outdoor setup and a super cool tattoo-inspired vibe that makes it stand out. The beers are fantastic across the board, and if you’re a lager fan, this place is pure heaven. The Smoke Lager in particular is an absolute must—easily one of the best I’ve had, and I couldn’t get enough of it. All around, this is a killer spot with great energy, amazing beer, and a vibe that makes you want to keep coming back. I’ll definitely be returning!
Nice, lager-forward brewery. One of many North Park areas breweries or outlets to visit, and this one does not disappoint. This is one of three in the Fate Brewing chain, and it feels like a small, local neighborhood brewery. Fun punk and counterculture theme.
Good spot. Nice spot to relax and enjoy some great beers and exceptional service. Just visiting but will make this a must stop in the future.
What a fun place to try out new beers. I had the Blood Orange Jazz Hands and it was great. Unfortunately, just a quick mid-week mid-afternoon stop before heading to the airport. It was conveniently located across the street from my son’s apartment which made it even more enjoyable. I look forward to returning.
This is my favorite brewery in the San Diego area (so far). I just love the atmosphere here and the beer and service are great! The audience it attracts is fun to be around, and if you're a dog lover - you'll dig it here.
Stopped in for a quick tasting. I liked that you can just order smalls and don't need to order a full flight. I sampled a couple different beers and they were all great. The brewery had a real punk rock vibe which I appreciated and the staff were very friendly.
Yep, this is a good place for beer! Bartender was starting to pour samples while I was still trying to explain what kind of beer I wanted. She hit my palate three times in a row. Very impressive. I am glad they offer half pours but after the third delicious beer, I reluctantly disconnected from their fast internet, listened to the end of a song, studied the interesting art behind the sidebar and continued with my quest for beer. This is the place to pair great beer with an inviting atmosphere.
Good beer! Excellent selection. Great music. This place is always busy. I had to stop in for a cold one. Love the music posters all over. Worth a beer on the patio if you find yourself over here. Sometimes they have a food truck 🚚 parked on the patio. I live in the neighborhood, but parking is tough around here. Be prepared
Great punk rock inspired brewing company . This place need to do a collaboration beer with concrete jungle brewing in Ventura. The color palette of the beers are good. Looks like the Brewers have a lot of fun coming up with new creations expementations combinations of beer. Great neighborhood hang out that really pack them in. Punk rock anthems spilling out of the radio makes for a great experience and brings Nostalgic experience for me. This place is good for groups and is dog friendly. Street parking only is complicated
Loved the vibe of this taproom, especially with the names of the beers and the large open spaces. They have customer parking as well as a taco truck on standby for food. Beers were tasty and tasting portions are available!
Large variety of beer and some seltzer. Corozon De Torta food truck was awesome. Definitely check them out if you're here on the weekend. Overall a great place to hangout.
Fall Brewing is a staple of North Park and a brewery known for being a Brewer's brewery. They always have quality beers on tap with styles that range from traditional lagers to IPA's (west coast and hazy's) to stouts to kettle sours to black lagers to fruited ales. They generally have a food truck in the evening and you can always bring in food from outside. There's plenty of food options to choose from like: The Friendly (flattop burger and pizza) to Chris' Ono Grind Hawaiian to the Nood Bar (Asian noodle place) that are all about a 30 second walk from Fall. Parking can be difficult, since it's all residential. Especially during busy days and evenings, so expand your parking search into the various neighborhoods. You may have to walk a couple blocks. The service is great here at Fall Brewing! The beertenders are very knowledgeable and friendly. And I love the punk rock scene and music that's played. So if you venture to North Park looking for great San Diego craft beer, Fall Brewing is a must visit.

very cool brewery with a lot of character. A lot of beer options, that were very good. The playlist was also fitting to the place and they also sell very cool merch.
Very impressed with Fall Brewing. Great selection of craft beers. Great vibe. And the taco truck was stellar! Awesome hang while visiting San Diego from the PNW.

Great beer, shaded patio, cool staff, nightly food truck or pop-up and a laid-back neighborhood vibe. There's a lot to be said for consistently getting the basics right. And that's why Fall is so consistently busy.
Rather solid neighborhood brewery. Good range of beers available. The real surprise was the seltzer that my wife ordered. I don't remember the name exactly, but was something like Dr. Pibb. It was really tasty. This is not to say that my beer was anything other than excellent, a solid DIPA. I also had the sour. I think it was called 'pleased to meet me'. I really liked that on as well. Have a visit and drink some beers.
Plenty for all? A beer named after one of my favorite band’s songs? I’m already sold. Top-tier craft beer in SD, and the space itself is basically a love letter to San Diego’s ’90s punk and post-punk scene. This place is a damn gem!
Cool local pub / brewery that has a nice open concept that does a good job of pulling the place together. Many beers on tap available. Seemed to be geared towards the hip locals. Had some clever swag/ gear. Walls were covered in cool stuff, art or other visually appealing designs. Lots of great old school looking posters painted/wallpapered in the washroom. If you find this review helpful please like it.
The beer selection is *best in the area*. The merchandise is in the top 3 gear from any brewery in San Diego. The atmosphere is weirdly dark but not in a stupid way. The staff, however, had the worst attitude of the 4 venues my friends and I visited. Go for the beer and the merch, not the service.

If you are a fan of beer, this is worth checking out. They don't have ciders, so for the non-beer drinkers, you only have soda options. The brewery itself is spacious with indoor and outdoor options. They had a food truck/tent set up that was serving beef sandwiches for food. We tried the Plenty for All and Oh Yeah. Both options were good. I'm not much of a fan of beer, so the Oh Yeah was their least beer-y option. Hubby, who loves beer, thought it was like water lol! He liked his Plenty for All. Service is minimal as you go to the bar and order what you want.
I used to love going to Fall but the last few times I’ve gone has been a bit of a disappointment. I feel like the service has gone down so much, zero personality from the staff. The beer is good but you can find good beer everywhere in SD.
Came here two days in row, was super impressed with the property, good amount of seating heavily outdoors (which I love personally). I was pretty disappointed on the 2nd day back, upon walking up to the bar all smiles the bartender looked unwelcoming, and said, “what do you want?”…. As someone that’s been in customer service her whole life this really took me a back. I understand customer service isn’t always easy but treating any patron this way is absolutely absurd. I really enjoy the atmosphere, the crowd, and not to mention the beer selection is great but I hope this bartender can get it together because it really brings down a seemingly amazing establishment.

Came here Friday evening, never having been before. Looked inviting, fun atmosphere! It looked like there was a lot of variety, but 85% of the options were all IPAs or hoppy pale ales. I told the girl bartender that I like sweeter stuff and I ended up getting the "A Little Luxury" pale ale....which turns out not to be sweet, and is bitter and hoppy lol Luckily I had only ordered the $3 taster size, but after one sip I knew I wasn't going to enjoy it so I left it alone (pushed it far away, towards the edge of the bar, totally going to pay for it, but didn't want to finish what was in the glass)....waiting to order something else. 20 min later and still no new beer (she never came back to check in on us once) we finally flagged down the other bartender. He was a lot more knowledgeable and attentive. We appreciated his time and effort. We ordered a second beer and after decided it was probably best to move on, maybe this wasn't our type of beer after all, and that's ok! The girl bartender offered to run our tab, which ended up being higher than what we actually ordered (she charged for a full pint, by mistake)! After having to ask her to double check it and remind her of the beers we didn't get, she did fix the tab. :/ Maybe it was an off night for both of us, but overall left a bad taste lol literally. Oh well.

*unpopular opinion* - i love the beer, i love the space, i love the crowd, i love the location... but there is a smugness with the general staff of about 3 of the bartenders thats just so off i have to say something. the other staff is fine. when its more than one person tho its endemic. ive been a local for years now and im not expecting them to remember everyone--and you dont need to remember ANYONE-- if you treat people with a general pleasantness and respect. ive had conversations with all the bartenders im mentioning. it may have seemed a bit grueling to them to talk to me (because maybe im not punk rock enough for them?) just mentioning ive held up my end of giving a real try. ive seen one at the other location even and then commented next time. last night i roll in with my wife and theres a line of like 2 people, sparse as heck. they serve the other two. im pleasantly looking waiting for eye contact, my turn comes up. the woman walks away and BEGINS a conversation with a coworker, the other guy, walks away and chats with a different coworker or friend. not to go clean. not a hey one sec. i watched. they were not doing any work activities. i waited, i waited i waited... nothing. this isnt the first time this very same thing has happened, probably the 5th time ive seen this (part of one of the reasons i try to talk to them to have them treat me a little better). heres the jerk in me to state a fact. your main job is to serve beer to customers in a pleasant way. if you dont do that you are bad at your relatively easy service industry job (former service industry participant here!). some of the staff is bad at their jobs but at least theyre "cool" in their own eyes and their cohort. waited a bit more, told my wife "lets go" and strolled out, i bet they didnt even notice. *that woman in the first pic is one of the persons in question for anyone curious.

The red head tending was cold and standoffish. Not sure why but no tip and no more than 1 Star. Well deserved. My wifes beer (Tribal Something or other) was barely cold. It was in the 80's today. Sad to say this once super friendly and inclusive brewery is no longer that. I am in the Service Industry and I'm usually lenient with less than avg service. However the least you could do is recommend the best or most popular item on the menu when asked. Sorry you were made to "work" on Sunday, didn't mean to make your job difficult. Go to 3 Punk Ales instead.
