We had an incredible experience at this place. The food was absolutely amazing—high quality, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a delight! The service was equally outstanding; the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure I had a fantastic visit. Food was amazing! We had the chicken tikka, butter chicken, yellow and white rice, and the garlic naan. They also gave us Dahl soup as an appetizer. Everything was a 10/10! Service was also great, everyone was very nice and on top of everything. The decor and lighting gave a nice ambience to this restaurant. I’ll definitely be back! :) Side note, my friend and I were talking and hanging out and didn’t even realize the time or that they were closing, and they were so kind not even rushing us out of there, but we ended up just realizing they were closing so got up anyways and cashed out. 5 ⭐️

Four of us shared a meal at the Himalayan Cuisine. We ordered four different dishes with various type sauces and all were excellent. The coconut based sauces were so delicious, perfectly cooked rice and wonderful Naan bread. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was very nice, I would recommend that you try this Indian cuisine!

Himalayan Cuisine La Mesa, California Occasionally, we love to go out and dine at one of our favorite restaurants. We love to eat different types of foods. One type is Himalayan and Indian Food. We always have a great experience here, and the service is always great. The staff are friendly and informative, and the food comes put quickly. The restaurant itself is large with plenty of seating and is beautifully decorated. The food this evening and we decided to try different things we had never tried. We will say that our table looked a feast for four people. Lol. This evening, we tried Appetizers - Vegetables Samosas( Deep fried pastries stuffed with spices potatoes & green peas Served with tamarind chutney.) - Papad ( Baked crispy thin lentil wafers. Served with mint chutney.) Main Course - Butter Chicken Boneless dark meat chicken cooked in a creamy and buttery sauce, with Himalayan herbs & spices. - Vegetable Biryani Mixed veggies, homemade fried cheese, tofu cooked in Himalayan herbs, cashew nuts, and spices mixed with Basmati rice. Served with our yogurt and cucumber sauce. (Raita) - Vegetable Tandoori Broccoli, potatoes, onions, cauliflowers, tomatoes, homemade fried cheese, and zucchini, marinated in sour cream and Himalayan herbs & spices, then baked to perfection in the Tandoor oven and served sizzling with sautéed cabbages, carrots, and bell peppers. - Garlic Naan Dessert - Kheer Rice pudding Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. Overall, this was a great experience again, and we look forward to dining with them.

Came by Himalayan Cuisine for lunch! Three of us shared a pakora app, which was quite good. They have an amazing lunch special for $14.95. I had double chicken tikka masala and flavors were great. A lot of food for lunch. Lots of seating inside. Staff was friendly. Lots of parking in the plaza. I'll be back for sure in the future!

We have been wanting to go to this place for a while. My son, his girlfriend, and I had a great time. All the food was delicious, and the servings were more significant than expected. We brought a lot of food home with us to eat later. They will ask you between 1 and 10 how spicy you want your meal (with one being very low and ten being very high). I picked five and will pick four the next time we go. The service was also friendly and quick.

Amazing food. A must try! Very cozy atmosphere, cozy bench seats for two. Great food selection, priced decently. If you are seated on the left side of the restaurant,the kitchen is very loud. The service was phenomenal, very friendly and attentive staff.

Authentic place. First time trying the food here and it was delicious! We tried mango chicken and a malai kofta and both had very good spices and flavors! We chose medium for spicy rate and at medium (4) it's spicy but not enough to over power your senses. Everything looked and tasted fresh. I also tried a mulligatawny soup. It was okay, I've had better at another restaurant but our 2 main dishes were so yummy. They have so many different dishes to try so we will definitely be back!

Butter chicken and Mango Curry were amazing. We ordered several dishes and enjoyed our dinner family style (shared entrees) in order to taste a little bit of everything. All entrees come with choice of rice or naan. Shrimp Saag was a little dry but still flavorful. Will come back to try their lunch specials.

Great food and atmosphere, but service could be better. Waiter slammed items on the table when serving, including placing them on our plates or on other things on the table which was weird. Also, we were asked to leave the restaurant at closing while we just finished eating. Good food though, would recommend ordering online at least.

Decided to try a new place and regretted it. The food looked fine but lacked flavor which I didn’t think was possible for Indian food. My partner and I were surprised that the 4 items we tried, they all looked like they should taste great but only the chicken tikka masala was good. The other dishes didn’t ask for spice level which was a first. They were not good. However, for someone that can’t handle spicy food, maybe this would be a good place to try.
