Love this Green China Grill, always try to go here at least once when I visit San Diego, their beef noodle soup is amazing, tastes very authentic, especially the thinly sliced beef with the radish garnish. Check out their bbq skewers they’re pretty amazing too. The service at this place is also good, you’ll be taken care of.

Recommend to any handsome men and pretty ladys who are cravying for a comfort food. Me and my family visited Green China Grill three times already, love their authentic beef noodle soup, clear but also tasty broth with their fresh made "Lan Zhou兰州" hand pull wheat noodle. And don't forget to try put the grilled beef scewers and lamb scewers as appetizers, they are fantastic! And forget to mention their customer services, mostly are girl working here and all of them are treating people nicely with patience. I like it.

We ordered beef noodle soup and cumin lamb fried noodle. We also ordered cold dishes which were sliced potato (numb spicy), stomach, celery and bamboo shoots and lamb skewer. All of the dishes were delicious and their noodles are made there. They have a person making noodles which was great to see.

Most Authentic Halal Chinese Food I've ever had! Fresh food, and amazing service. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an authentic experience. Everything here is flavourful and makes your mouth melt. The meat is perfectly cooked and tender with perfect amount of flavour.The noodles were handmade in front of you and are as fresh as they can get.Waiters are hard working and very polite and kind. Definitely the best food I've had in a while and would definitely come back. Even the walls are hand painted. Amazing effort in everything they do. They get everything thing done and food arrives quick. Also amazing experience for anyone wanting to try northern Chinese food. THIS IS THE SPOT TO GO TO!!!!

For me as a person who lived in China for few years I believe this is the best Chinese authentic food in all of San Diego by far.

This place was amazing! Chris' customer service is not only genuine, but top tier. I entered the establishment unsure of what to order. Chris took time to explain the menu, make suggestions, and even showed me pictures of the dishes. He offered me a seat and a cup of water while I waited. I ordered their signature beef soup. Absolutely delicious! The broth was clear, delicious and flavorful. The handmade, hand pulled noodles were soooo good. The food was hot and fresh! Chris said I was always welcomed to come back. I can't wait to return!!!

Excellent spot for fresh noodles. Everything has the perfect amount of chew. They're dog-friendly, though I recommend only bringing friendly dogs here. The owner's small dog often wanders the store, so don't bring a dog that will be upset by being sniffed.

This place is AMAZING. The menu (aside from being filled with great food) is adorable, and features a German Shepard riding on a green bean pod for some reason. 10/10, that's fantastic. The service is outstanding, with kind and friendly staff, who are super helpful and happy to explain anything you could possibly want to know. The food though- buckle up, sweetheart. It is PHENOMENAL. We had the pick-3 cold dish for an app (red oil potatoes, seaweed and woodear mushrooms- killer), my man had the cumin beef noodles (handmade noodles!), and I had the sour cabbage fish pot, which is now my favorite dish and l'm honestly a little mad that's the first thing I ordered here, because now how could I order anything else?! If you love Chinese, check this spot out. You won't be disappointed!

Theirs is perfectly cooked and the hint of Szechuan pepper corn is perfect. The owners and staff are very kind and accommodating. Great service. They even sell jars of their chili crisp. The food here was incredible! I love that everything is halal. I had the sirloin beef soup and the broth was so rich and flavorful. We also tried the beef pancakes, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Our host was super kind—busy, but still so attentive. Even during the lunch rush, everyone was taken care of. They even hand-pull the noodles right behind a window, which is such a cool touch if you like watching your food come to life. The whole restaurant is very clean, including the restrooms. Definitely worth a visit—this spot just became my new favorite!

Halal Chinese GEM. ​If you are looking for the best spot for Halal Chinese food in San Diego, this is it. The handmade noodles are the star of the show—perfectly chewy and clearly made with care. FRESHLY HAND made noodles, which I havnt had since Italy. ​Everything we ordered was delicious and very affordable, making it a fantastic value for the quality you get. It’s a rare find to have authentic flavors that also cater to Halal requirements without breaking the bank. Highly recommended!

A couple of comments. First and foremost it’s halal. Secondly, the delicious noodle soup should come with a generously amount of meat… It’s too thin and little. I would give the food 5 stars if they are not stingy with the meat.

Wonderful food that was on par with some of the OG SGV restaurants. I was very happy with the flavors and textures of the noodles and beef roll. Even my toddler and baby enjoyed the food! The flavor of the lamb skewer was solid; however, the meat was too lean and pretty tiny. The service was prompt and polite. I wish they used a different sanitizer to clean as the smell was pretty intense. The music was so good here! I will plan to come back. :)

Busy, they were out of broth the day we went. Food was good. Fried rice could use more flavor. But it is halal which is the plus!

First time here! I wanna come back and eat inside. Nice, bright but not too bright and the tables look spacious so you don't have to bump elbows with your friends. I ordered to go. I just wanted basic noodles and veggies which they had and it was amazing! Waiter was nice & helped me pick something off the menu because I knew what I wanted but didn't see it. It wasn't spicey, very flavorful! (They have some kind of oil for those that like the 12/10 spicy, so they can make it spicy if you're not a wimp like me!) The waiter said they're dog friendly and I got to pet one of the employee (owner?) dogs while I waited for my order, which was really nice since I can't have pets and don't see any often. Very chill, well behaved dog. I hope to see it again.

Nice to try for some of the dishes. But I think the braised beef noodle soup are not that good actually. The beef is a bit chewy and it needs to be soft. But the stew beef noodle soup is nice as picture shows.

Service was great as all the employees were super friendly. The food was good but not great. We were disappointed 2 of the dishes that I can’t remember the name of. I do highly recommend the garlic spice beef shank and the sour cabbage beef pancake which was unusual and worth it if you want to try something different.

Honestly, the food is okay, but $25 only has 5-7 small pieces of thin meat in my hot pot. Not worthy!! Also, the waitress's service is horrible!!! She's so mean!!
