Stopped in recently in a late Sunday morning and stopped for a coffee and churro. The service was excellent, coffee was good, but the churros were to die for! My husband and I both said it was the best we've ever had! They were hot, cooked to perfection and the flavor was everything you want a churro to be! These were apparently made in the oven and they were hot and fresh...we can't wait to go back to get more! No pics of the churros cuz we ate them so fast. Oops!
I was so pumped to stumble upon this place as it had the dole whip I was looking for in the city! I got the mangonada style dole whip with mango Dole whip, Chamoy, and tajin. It was amazing!! They had a lot of really good delicious treats. I wish we could’ve gone back several times. Definitely to make a pitstop at this place!
We LOVED it!!! Saw an ad for Seaport Fudge Factory on Instagram advertising Dole whip and their new flavors, so we had to try it. We made sure to go on a week day to try to have a less crowded trip and it worked. The service was fast, all 4 flavors of Dole whip were incredible, and the melon was perfectly ripe!
Stopped here for a quick sweet treat! Got the churro Sunday! Ice cream is creamy and sweet with the crunch of the churros was a perfect combination! They don’t have specific seating so you just find a spot to eat your treat! Many open tables with a live band playing! Will be coming again!
Seaport Fudge Factory is a wonderful staple at Seaport Village! If you are visiting San Diego, this place is a must do on your bucket list- you will not be disappointed! It is located right across from the historic carousel. My family was visiting (from Sacramento) for the 1st time and our experience with this shop made a lasting impression :) The customer service was excellent, and their desserts are delicious!! The variety of sweet treats and fun creations can satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth for sure!! While making a stop for ice cream, I was searching their Instagram to help me decide what to get. I happened to see a picture of their breakable candy hearts and inquired about placing an order for my daughter’s birthday. I thought it was a long shot because I needed the order the next morning since we were checking out of our hotel. But since we were from out of town, I thought I’d take a shot… Shabby made it happen!! She is the owner of this amazing establishment, and she is the sweetest person ever! In addition, the wonderful chef who made my daughter’s candy, came in on his day off just to accommodate our order. Aaannd, Shabby carefully packaged the candy to ensure it would travel safely with us in the car ride up to Anaheim- so thoughtful of her! We absolutely LOVED this local spot and family owned business. We will DEFINITELY visit again!!!!
Great experience, excellent dole whip. The cashier Lauren had great customer service and was an absolute delight.
Autumn was the best she was so kind and gave us the best ice cream ever! Highly recommend!!
Laren was super friendly and awesome. She recommended the affogato and it is so delicious.
Super friendly staff, Autumn was great! Great latte, very tasty. Great place, check it out.
This place is super good to come to in seaport great milkshakes and hot chocolate! definitely recommend. Autumn is super nice and great service!!
One of my favorite places to go in Seaport. Best hot chocolate made with milk and great service! Autumn is a top notch employee. 😊
Their huge donuts are so phenomenal!! genuinely one of the best donuts we’ve had. Their dole whip is also superrr good!
Loved this cute shop! The young lady working was so nice. We got the churro ice cream and a giant Reese’s cookie. The churro ice cream came with fresh and warm churros. The cup was huge and every bite was delicious! The Reese’s cookie is soft, yummy and perfectly baked. If we were locals, this would be our dessert spot all the time.
The owner, Shabby, is very sweet. They are the oldest business with same owners in the Seaport, family owned since 1991. They are the ultimate dessert and coffee shop: they sell coffee, espresso (they use lavazza), tea, cold brew, matcha, dole soft serve (120 calories), sundaes, cotton candy, truffles, popcorn, fudge, macaroons, cookies, frozen lemonade, carrot cake, cheesecake, mousse, chocolate covered strawberries, bark, taffy, and more! Worth a visit. Thank you Shabby!
Excellent spot to get some cold drinks, shake or ice cream. Very nice location and outdoor tables & chairs accessible. Part of my great San Diego experience! I highly recommend checking it out. 😊👍🏼
This place is amazing! High quality ingredients, extremely warm and welcoming staff, family-owned, and incredible desserts. We got the churro sundae (with fresh churros made to order), Dubai chocolate strawberry cup (great quality chocolate and super fresh strawberries), and an Oreo caramel apple. Everything was soooooo good, even the soft serve tasted better than any soft serve I’ve had before. I’m going back today to try more confections before heading to the airport. 10/10 choice if you’re looking for a sweet treat in SD.
My family visited this wonderful desert shop after a big meal tonight! What a wonderful place and an amazing selection of deserts to choose from. Our server, Lauren, greeted us with such kindness and was super helpful! I also got the chance to hear the story of the business from the owner and she was so sweet! Thank you for your kindness and letting me know about your history! I wish you another 30+ years of success!
Walked around the seaport and stumbled upon this cute dessert shop. The loaded pineapple dole whip was the perfect tart dessert!! Thank you Lauren for being the sweetest and offering us reccs!
We stopped by Seaport Fudge Factory and, while we didn’t get any fudge this time, we grabbed a strawberry lemonade—and wow, it was delicious and refreshing! Perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, it was exactly what we needed on a warm day. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who made the quick stop even better. Definitely looking forward to coming back to try the fudge or some of the delicious cakes they had on display next time!
I don’t live in the area… every time I come into town… I make sure to stop by…. Best hot cocoa, and all things sweet. The lady’s there have a great smile and enjoy just saying hi. You lady’s are beautiful and amazing… keep being you and spreading the love and happiness.
Every time I hit San Diego, I make sure to visit Seaport Fudge Factory. From their ice cream to fudge, it's always amazing. I happened to take my daughter to check out San Diego on Christmas Eve and Lauren helped us. She was super sweet, extremely kind and even checked to make sure we were happy with our ice cream choices (Pineapple Dole Whip and Cherry...amazingly delish btw). I also got some treats they had to take home with us. Thank you Lauren! I believe we'll be back later this year to enjoy their sweet treats again. If you're in the area, check them out.
Autumn was super sweet when attending us! The Dubai chocolate cup was described so well and it tasted amazing!
Soo many options to choose from. I was in the area. Craving something sweet. The kind woman who works there was very kind. Even made some great suggestions for s chocolate lover like myself. I did order the brownie. Delicious. Nice and warm. Plenty of seating nearby.
Sweets and treats galore at the Seaport Fudge Factory! We were walking through Seaport Village and found this little sweet tooth haven full of ice creams, fudge, cotton candy, and my favorite sweet treat, caramel/chocolate apples. Service was so sweet and polite and she even offered to slice my caramel apple for me. Great stop if you're hankering for a treat!
BEST FUDGE EVER!!! Lots of different flavors! Our faves: strawberry, rocky road, and pina colada. And now, UBE (purple yam) We always make a point of coming here to get fudge whenever we are in San Diego. There's no comparison! Must try the Oreo and Lucky Charms when they have it. This is how you fudge!!!
Absolutely amazing! My visit to the Seaport Fudge Factory made my day! It is by far my favorite dessert experience so far. Shabby is the owner, and she is such a gem! So full of life, love, and joy. Even if you don’t have a sweet tooth I highly recommend going just to have a beautiful interaction, and while you’re there you can check out the insanely talented artwork! They have beautifully hand crafted artwork on the cones, and on the cereal bowls made out of cereal! My friend and I got the fully loaded soft serve with chamoy, and it was so delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced. Not to sweet, refreshing, and I love a desert that doesn’t make me feel terrible after. Truly the superior dessert, and customer service. I highly recommend this spot to anyone, and I look forward to seeing Shabby and her smile again! 😊
Visiting San Diego, happened to stop by the incredible fudge factory. I can’t eat chocolate, but there are so many wonderful things to choose from. When I found the maple walnut fudge, I was obsessed. Ate the full piece , along with a tiramisu latte. Don’t miss this place!!
My husband and I found this fudge factory about 8 years ago. After we found it, it became our number one place we had to stop at any time we are in the area. 8 years later this small owned business has grown so much and offers even more sweet treats than before. Any time anyone asks for recommendations of places to visit in San Diego this is always the first place we tell them. Their apples are my husband’s favorite and I love the rocky road fudge. Their fudge is the best I have ever had. If you are headed to visit Seaport Village be sure to stop by this sweet small business for a sweet treat that will not disappoint!

Plenty of fresh treats to choose from. Extremely patient and helpful staff. But most importantly the variety of things I bought were all delicious!
Lauren is so sweet kind thoughtful and very friendly. Her welcoming smile brought my family and I towards the fudge factory and she had also suggested an amazing dessert such as the cranberry pineapple dole whip! Thank you so much Lauren!! Honorable mention: also wanted to say Shabna the owner is so welcoming and sweet as well!!
Their Strawberry Shortcake Sundae was absolutely amazing! The owner and her employees were customer focused, very respectful and addressed me as "Sir" each and every time. I was very impressed - highly recommended!
We had a great experience here. Autumn was so helpful and made us feel very comfortable with our peanut allergy. We will definitely be back for some sweet treats and to see Autumn again.

Decided to be a tourist and walk around Seaport on our visit in the area and came across this dessert spot. Who says we can’t have dessert before dinner 😛 — we opted for a mango Chile between three people so we weren’t too full for dinner, and really enjoyed it! It was so refreshing on a hot day and the Chile on top of the mango gave it a unique kick that reminded me a lot of mangonada, yumm! There’s sooo many other goodies on their menu that I definitely want to return to try! Definitely treat yourself when the area.
They have a decently large selection of desserts and flavors, so it was hard to settle on one. The strawberry shortcake sundae was good, but not extraordinary. It had vanilla soft serve as the base and came with crushed graham crackers, strawberry chunks, and strawberry syrup drizzled around. This felt a bit pricey for what ended up being a pretty standard dessert.
Well I guess the rent is high here because $15.50 for a milkshake that is mixed with chocolate and strawberry seems a little high to me , although it Is good!, but I could get the same thing at jack in the box for way less ! so if you are really craving a milkshake at seaport village they have one here!
Everything here smells and looks delicious, but everything is chocolate and sweet. I personally don't enjoy eating too much sweets, but the one piece of fudge I tried was delicious! This shop is very homey and nothing too fancy, but you just might find your favorite dessert here. You will love this place if you have a sweet tooth. Watch out for allergies though. Everything is covered in nuts here.
I got a loaded dole whip mango flavor. It was ok though it was hollow in the middle. You can check the photos. For the price I would say it is not worth it especially when next to the Ben and Jerry’s.

I've been to Seaport Fudge Factory so this was a first. However something happened recently that not only affects them but also another business. They participate with an app called To Good To Go. The app has a great concept, however some businesses are making the app look bad by being ignorant and irresponsible. TGTG is responsible for helping take care of food waste. You can look it up. My problem is, December 27th, 2024 they had a post on the app. I had been visiting friends in North Park and figured I wouldn't make it in time by bus. So I paid $21.00 for a Lyft to get there. When I get there the young girl working says, "oh we don't have that tonight". I said, why would you post if you don't have it? She says, I can give you a bar. I'm not sure what a bar is, so I ask. So I asked if there were other flavors. She hands me a small white bag and I walk away. I look in the bag and I'm shocked. One chocolate bar with nuts, about 2" x 4". This was $3.99 plus tax. I did eat it. It was average, I could have done better at Ralph's which earlier in the day, I paid $3.99 for a great piece of cake. I sent a photo of this to my friend and she said, "that looks like a turd with corn in it." TGTG concept is great for people on a fixed income, seniors and such. So STOP posting if you are not legit and only looking for free advertising!!! I've now been burned by 3 locations in different ways in just a week. And these 3 transactions are the only ones I've done. Now I'm considering deleting the app. Happy Holidays Seaport Fudge Factory and thank you! The other 2 locations are Hob Nob Hill and Brooklyn Pizza which I will post a review on their spots as well. I was considering deleting the app. But why? It's not their fault these businesses are ignorant and lack responsibility. So instead, I'm going to review each one I try!
Over charging for items. Definitely below average desserts, signs, facility, staff. And above average prices on entire menu. Don’t support price gouging especially for mediocre items.
