Went with a friend and my hubby. It was the first time our friend had been to a speakeasy and he was really excited to be there. It did not disappoint at all. The secret entrance is always fun and he loved it. Once we were all inside we were promptly seated and while at first it was a bit awkward sitting two people on a couch and one in a stool we figured it out and made room so we could all sit together. All of our drinks were good and we never felt rushed. Between the three of us we got The Tiki Room, Cosmic Dancer, Rain Check, When Things Go South, and Time of the Season. It was busy but that's no surprise we could all still hear each other. Overall a great night with great drinks and cool ambiance.

I had an out of town visitor, so we went to Raised by Wolves on a Tuesday evening for the experience and to sip on their cocktails. We did not have any food! The vibe, the cocktails, and the service were outstanding! My visitor was highly impressed! You feel like you are in a different world, with a great vibe, once you enter through their "secret door!" Definitely worth checking out and vibing there! They are packed on weekends. Reservations are recommended!

Great ambiance and a lot of wonderful cocktails. We stopped by on a whim in the evening and only had to wait 30 minutes or so to get in. They only have drinks (no food), but there are lots of wonderful restaurants in UTC so this makes a great stop before or after dinner, or just for a drink or two just because. Update: went back with a reservation for a table and it was such a nice experience ! Service is awesome and we got to try an off-menu drink as well. Definitely worth it for a laid-back drink or two. Bathrooms are also surprisingly neat to see with some lovely decor

We absolutely adored this place. The staff were friendly. The cocktails were delicious. The atmosphere was one of a kind. Tip: The liquor store opens at 11a but the speakeasy opens at 3pm. You need to put your name on their list either in person or by reservation to be let in. Each guest group is allowed 1 hr in the speakeasy.

Atmosphere: 9/10 Located in a popular shopping mall area, easy to find and surprisingly immersive once inside. The space is vibrant, stylish, and dim, with a central backbar that’s well stocked and visually strong. Music volume is pleasant and works for conversation. Seating is a major plus here—plenty of bar seats and booths, making the room functional even when busy. Drinks: 7.5/10 Recommendation: Island Old Fashioned, Ramos Gin Fizz Menu is nicely designed, good material quality, and clearly indicates glass shapes. Drink selection is solid. Execution is hit or miss—some drinks land, others feel less sophisticated than expected. Coasters are provided. Glassware is average, garnish is basic, and overall presentation is normal. Service: 6/10 Water is provided only on request. Team friendliness is average. Professionalism is good—the fact that the bar can execute a proper Ramos Gin Fizz (one of the clearest tests of classic cocktail technique) earns real credit. Attentiveness could be better. Reservations are recommended. Prices are slightly above average.

Cool speakeasy in the utc mall. Beautifully decorated and they make good drinks. Only had a couple, but they had a large selection. Plus I presume they make any cocktail you'd like. Worth visiting if you are in the area. You have to make reservations online, but it's easy and can be done same day of not the busy bar hours. We made our reservation on Sunday at 4 one hour before we arrived.

We waited over 30 minutes to be seated on a Sunday afternoon, which was frustrating especially once we got inside and saw that the place was mostly empty. There were plenty of open tables and more than half the bar was vacant, so the wait made no sense. We both ordered the Tiki Room cocktail, which was pretty underwhelming. The flavor was balanced and pleasant, but the presentation made it hard to enjoy. The glass was awkward to drink from without a straw, and the paper straw they provided started disintegrating within minutes. On top of that, the glass was packed with so much ice that it felt like you barely got any actual drink. I realize it’s a tiki drink and lots of ice is to be expected but a different class or a different type of straw should be used. The ambience was decadent with dim lighting, and the service was good but overall, the experience didn’t live up to the hype or cost.

Off the bat, this place is pretty cool. I really liked the revolving fireplace to introduce people into the space. The liquor store in front has a ton of specialty liquors, mixers, and other really high end cocktail hardware and liquids. The design of both the front and the main lounge space is really classy. Lots of thought went into the design of the two spaces. It's a bit dark on the inside but I think that adds to the allure. Even the bathroom is designed well (but also really dark). The seats we were seated at were small and cute, but I sat on one of the wooden hands, and I have to say it was incredibly uncomfortable. I get that they have a 1 hour turnaround but man, that chair was not comfortable. The drinks we had were really lacking. I had a tiki-like drink, which is usually strong and full of complicated flavors. Some of the flavors were there but there was a lot of ice, and it was just way too sweet for me. For what its worth it was on the special Christmas cocktail list. The second drink we got was a bit better and stronger, and a little more complex and less sweet. Overall cool place, but I would probably go somewhere else given the chance.

I’ve heard so much about this place and I’ve seen so many videos of this speakeasy. I finally got a chance to check it out. We had a reservation for 5:30pm. We arrived early so we got to take some pictures, videos, etc. The liquor store has impressive collections of spirits. I love the revolving door set up. The inside was grand, dark and mysterious. I got a drink that was 80% ice and 20% alcohol mixture. It definitely wasn’t worth $20 for a drink. I guess you’re paying for the ambience and experience. I would say check it out at least once to see it yourself.

Raised by Wolves is sadly all style and no substance. Yes, the revolving fireplace entrance is cool. The decor and vibe inside is charming. It gets an A+ for atmosphere. But the drinks are outrageously overpriced and very disappointing, which ultimately ruins the experience. For my most recent and second ever visit, I ordered their spiked holiday eggnog cocktail. What I received was a tall glass packed to the brim with ice for $18. The drink itself, the thimble-full I received, was very tasty. But I literally took three straw sips and it was gone. There was virtually no alcohol and not much more eggnog. It was literally a tall glass of crushed ice that they charged me $18 for. To add insult to injury, when the waitress came over to ask how things were, I said "Not great, actually. This drink is like 99% ice. There's almost no alcohol or eggnog in here." Her response was, "Well, everything is measured, so that's what it is." No, "I'm sorry," or "Let me get you another," or "I'll talk to the bartender." I suppose servers are obligated to ask customers how their drinks are, but if you don't really care what my answer is, and tell me to pound sand if I am actually dissatisfied, then I'd rather they not even bother asking. Raised by Wolves is probably worth one visit because the decor is very charming. But make sure you have a reservation, as the wait can be 1-2 hours without one. And the drinks themselves are outrageously overpriced. My suggestion is, go inside, take your Instagram photos, and head right back out. I, for one, will not be going back.
