Such a neat place. We were attending an event around the corner and decided to take a walk around the block to find a coffee shop (I think we found something way better!). Seven Grand is very reminiscent of a pub. We walked in an immediately noticed and loved the plaid carpet and beautiful wood detail throughout the bar. There is plenty to do whether it is sit and chat and make new friends or catch up after work for happy hour and shoot some pool or play darts. Seven Grand has plenty of space inside to sit as well as a nice patio on the outside. They have mainly whiskey based drinks and some draft beers. Seven Grand also sells cigars. There is also a really neat back area which seems to house special whiskey tasting events (more info available on their site). They also have plenty of space to house bands with live music. We made it in time for happy hour and had some really good drinks for a great price. I had an Old Fashion and a Manhattan. Both were tasty but because orange is my citrus of choice I think the Manhattan stole the show for me. My husband had a whiskey sour which he really enjoyed as well (he actually said was one of the best he has had). Service was great, the staff is amazing and very helpful. When we first arrived there were quite a few people but it was really picking up around 6:30 or so. For sure stop by for a visit!

Awesome local bands and great bartenders, really amazing house cocktails. It's a whiskey bar but they serve beer and other liquor as well. 2 pool tables, smoking patio with tables and chairs. Looks like a speakeasy and in a trendy neighborhood full of hipsters who are not always nice, this place always has lots of awesome people. Made a lot of friends here! Great for a date, too. Classy but not crazy prices.

This is a cool, casual bar. It has a nice selection of whisky and the prices go from like $12 dlls a glass to $40 or more. They have cocktails too like old fashioned, mules, etc. They have pool tables and darts. Almost everyday they have live music, the bands are pretty good.

Massive selection, quiet atmosphere in the early - mid evening. Great service, loved the chill old motown tunes last night 10/1/18. Definitely a place to celebrate with the finest, relax with your favorite, or talk it up with someone ~ whatever floats your boat.

This bar has this great old school vibe to it. Plus, they have great whiskey 🥃 events in the back. Throw in 2 pool tables and you got yourself one sweet spot to knock some drinks back. Only issue is my drinks were super watered down. Everything else was totally fine.

Had a really nice time with my wife here. Great range of whiskey. The bartender was really helpful and friendly. Great old school ambience.

I was in the area so I finally got to visit this bar. It’s dark inside but looks elegant. It’s got the whisky bar feeling. The bar area is nice. There are two pool tables, a booth, an area for dart games and an open window seating area. The Happy hour menu looks simple. I ordered a happy hour mule and then ordered another one because it was good lol. There’s a speakeasy in the back. I’d love to check it out one day.

Just a quick review on a cool spot in North Park. Lots of whiskeys on-hand and have Happy Hour deals on Old Fashioneds, Manhattans, and Mules. Good drinks for $8. Other than that, have a couple pool tables and dart boards. A nice bar, with a good vibe and location.

Not too bad of a place. Drinks are expensive. They have pool tables and a smoking patio. The downside is that parking is very difficult to find.

AMAZING BARTENDER, but he needed help. The bar was packed, 3 people stacked all the way down the bar, but he still held his own, with ATLEAST 20 people demanding drinks. Looooved him, but there definitely should have been MORE people Available to make drinks! SHAME ON MANAGEMENT :/

Bouncer was rude last night (overweight bearded fellow) & on an ego trip. First time here, meeting a date. Why did he single me out? Have no clue. I’m a very curvy woman who was dressed nicely and appropriately, wearing a cute dress and if it was for being curvy- the bouncer was much more curvy and heavy than I am. Haven’t been to a bar in years & not used to seeing a bouncer at the door. He was chatting w friends & took a bit to acknowledge me. I asked respectfully: “what do I need to do to come in?” He gruffly raised his voice to say: “ID! and I’m going to have to ask you to get rid of your water bottle,” I didn’t match his rude tone but told him I was going to finish it before I came in bc I didn’t want to throw it away. I stepped aside and finished it- meanwhile he had said nothing about searching my purse until after I handed him my id. I have some personal items in there, and w how rude he was already acting, I didn’t know how deep of a search he was going to do. He was also taking extra time to examine and shine his light over my very valid id. At this point I firmly stated that I wasn’t going in and asked for my ID back. Instead of handing it back, he tried to grip on to it and I had to just tug it out of his hands. I let my date know I wouldn’t be coming in but understood if he didn’t want to go elsewhere. He came out and informed me “they don’t usually checks bags here,” so that’s when I knew the bouncer really was just singling me out And being rude for some obscure reason. Whatever was going on w him- he tried to in that moment, make me his emotional punching bag. We walked down to happy medium cocktail bar and the bouncer there was so warm and welcoming. My date showed his ID but I had absentmindedly shoved mine back in somewhere after being accosted at this place and he said “it’s ok, you’re good. Come on in.” I’m in my 40’s so not like this bouncer was slipping. He looked at both of us, but he didn’t search bags or act rude in any way. I didn’t know there was supposed to be a tsa experience just coming into a relatively small bar.. but anyway the drink and experience at the 2nd place was pretty amazing and I will be coming back there. I drove almost 90 miles to get here and this was a pretty ridiculous experience, but at least the other bar was amazing. I drove my date home since he had taken an uber, and as close as he lives I imagine he is a regular here so he knew what he was talking about when he said “they don’t usually check bags here” He did buy us drinks at the other establishment that we walked to, all bc of this heavyset bouncer’s bad behavior.
