Im only going here for the dancing, especially since Dance Klassique moved here (every Wednesday). They have a decent sound system and little dance floor area. Decor is nice and simple. Lighting is low and excellent for dancing. The booths are ample and comfy. Glad this place has survived.

I mistakenly left my positive review for this place, for Happy Medium bar instead- shortly before Thanksgiving 2025, I had a blind date who was taking me to a different bar in North Park- but the bouncer there was so rude and took his job way too seriously (not that he was good at it- nor did he apply logic or any real methods of “security” to it).. and I decided I wasn’t going to go into that place, but my date met me outside and walked down with me to The Office bar- was such a night and day difference- the bouncer was friendly and sure he paid attention to who was coming in but he was kind and welcoming. Bar tender was also nice and the drink (an old school Apple martini) tasted so amazing. I came back later on my own and it was the same kind bouncer but a different bar tender who was also super friendly and went out of his way to make a special drink the way I liked it (since they didn’t have exactly what I asked for). My only complaint is that drinks in this area cost 2x what you could find at other bars maybe 20-30 mins away, but that’s just the area, it is expensive. Atmosphere here is definitely enhanced by cool staff and skilled bar tenders

No food but one of my favorite Lil bars in north park. They have reggae music every Sunday and a dance floor. The people are amazing. Love the bartenders.

Great atmosphere dark and intimate feeling but also has lots of open space and different kinds of seating. Nice music, friendly bar tenders but you can tell they are used to dealing with packed bars and tons of people. Drinks are very good and I appreciate their "happy hour"

Cool 90s,2000s, and 2010s music. Small dance floor with friendly crowd. The line took awhile to get in and charged us $5. Drinks are regular price. If your looking to dance and hang with mid 20s to mid 30s crowd this place is it.

Great place to hangout. I’ve been bringing people here for years but here’s the kicker. I get racism from the new security lady. I’m not sure if she is Latin on White but she seems to watch African America women closely in a negative way especially on Sundays. They play my Rasta music but I’m made to feel unwelcomed. Strange huh?!

Really fun place! My daughter recommended this place. We went after a concert down the street. It was packed with a good vibe. Bartenders were Ok, I understand busy but a hello- acknowledged would be nice, especially after standing in line for 20 min. DJ was great. Small dance floor and hot but a very Fun time.

Small, dark and crowded. They did do some upgrades so the decor and lay out are slightly better than they used to be. The music has been good every time I've been later at night. That being said, their cocktails are very good and they have a great happy hour!

Cool bar but a cover charge on Sunday night? What is this, the mid 2000's? Kinda surprised. Gotta find parking, hope my car doesn't get broken into, pay $$ for drinks AND a cover on top? In this economy? Pass.

My friend stepped in the door paid the cover and then turned around to leave and they would not give her the money back for the cover charge back, really?!?you guys that hard up for cash? F-that B at the door. I will say the bouncers and support staff were very nice and respectful in dealing with the situation. This was last night (Jan 13th around 9:30). My friend even removed the stamp with the hand sanitizer. We were a large group that had been enjoying the bar for over an hour and my fiend was coming to meet us right as we were leaving to go have dinner. The woman taking money at the door was very rude. It’s only $5 so after arguing with her it wasn’t worth the effort to escalate to management, plus the bouncers acted like she was in charge, so the assumption was that she was management. She just soured our experience at your establishment. All of the other staff were great. The bartender took good care of us.

If you want to dance don’t come here. On a Friday night it’s the most boring house music on the planet and the dance floor is dead 💀 my friends and I dumped out our drinks and left bc the music and vibes were so bad

My friend was trying to make sure I was safe and he was attacked and chased out of the bar, I had to separate the short security guard from him as he kept calling my friend a f slur and trying to get physically aggressive toward my friend and myself. I told another security guard the short guy should be removed as he is acting in an unsafe manner and he refused to address the issues until the end of the night. I insisted the short guy was acting unsafe and should be removed for the night but he refused once again to address the issues. In the year 2025 it was crazy to see such homophobic behavior in the north park neighborhood. Stay away from the office

I’d like to preface this with saying that the bartenders Thomas and Chris were great! BUT I was deeply disappointed with my experience at The Office. After spending hours at the bar and spending a significant amount of money, I was shocked to be denied access to the restroom at closing time. This lack of basic courtesy and consideration for paying customers is unacceptable. I chose this establishment expecting good service, but unfortunately, it seems they don’t value their patrons. I will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to others who expect even minimal customer service.
