The couple that runs this is the sweetest! They provided recommendations and even remembered the order of another patron from their previous visit. You can tell they put lots of love and care into the desserts they make.
We got the Mango Berries smoothie, thai tea, taiwanese popcorn chicken (mild spicey), Hong kong egg waffles with ice cream. The ice cream and waffle cone were so soft warm fluffy delicious, drinks were super tasty 10/10. The Taiwanese chicken blew all our minds! We almost forgot to take a picture before finishing them. It was so good, perfect amount of crunch and spice!! Will be back for sure! And the two sweet people hosting were awesome and informative! Wonderful experience, left super happy (:
Customer service by Trinh was definitely 5stars. She’s very friendly and helpful with our drink selections. Drinks are definitely yummy too. The boba is nice and soft. The BTS cupsleeve event is also a plus. Thank you for the cupsleeves, PCs and banners 💜🫶🏽
There's so many options it's hard for me to decide but I'm never disappointed with my choice! The owners are the sweetest too. The popcorn chicken is amazing. The crispy basil leaves are a nice addition. We got spice level hot, soo good!
I saw a couple of IG reels about this place, so when I went to San Diego, I knew this was a must-see place, and it didn't disappoint. The owner (I assume he was) was very pleasant and welcoming. It wasn't busy at the time I went, so I was able to look around and read through all of the drink options. Everything sounded delicious, but I had to try from the specials board, and I got "Easy," which was a sea salted Sakura milk tea. I also purchased a ZB1 album, and he gave me a free photocard with it. I went back after leaving to take a picture of the menu, and I had completely forgotten about the cupsleeves they offer and when I asked about them, he was so generous as to give me a set. I know boba places are everywhere, but this was a very unique and fun place, so it is definitely worth a visit.
Small and nice family owned dessert shop with good mixes of drinks other than your regular milk teas. I love wintermelon and is definitely a must try. It is my goal to try each one of their available products.
Quiet place to get refreshed. I had the S'mores and more. The Waffle was served warm with a light coat of confectioners sugar. Definitely would recommend this place.
Awesome place for Boba drinks, they have variety of drinks mostly natural ingredients. We met the owner and she’s extremely nice. We will definitely come back!
Jasmine milk tea with mango and strawberry popping boba 👌🏼 I love talking with staff when the shop isn’t super busy, very nice staff and they are talkative in all the right ways. Honestly this place and SD boba are the only boba places I will go to. U desserts never disappoints!
Drinks are a little on the expensive side but are big enough to justify the price and the boba is the best I’ve ever had. Definitely would come more often if I was in the area and all the drinks I tried have been really good.
This place was so good! Ordered a red bean milk tea boba and the Okinawa milk tea boba and they were so delicious. The guy who helped us was quick and professional. Definitely some of the best boba in SD and definitely the best in South San Diego.
I heard about U Dessert Eats through a K-Pop (BTS) cup sleeve event and after checking out their Instagram, was very excited to try their drinks. I visited on a Saturday evening and while it was only slightly busy (maybe 8-10 other customers there at the same time), was able to place my order immediately and my drinks were ready after a very short wait (which gave me time to take pictures etc.) The staff are all so friendly and work efficiently. The order and pickup system is very seamless. I ordered event-themed drinks which all came with a cup sleeve and banner. Everything tasted great! I highly recommend!
Who doesn’t like Puffle Ice cream during the spring time. Customer Service is outstanding and the ice cream is great. I highly recommend this if your feeling for an ice cream day.

The people at the counter were so nice and the drinks are so great!
The best boba place in town. The drink are so creative and delicious. Haven’t had a bad one yet! I always come here for my boba. Staff is nice and quick too
— Review — Last updated 2025-03-25 I only do reviews when I feel they're worth the time for. Only visited this place twice so far, on March 16, 2025 and the 24th. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place nearby to get a sweet snack and the Fruity Macaron Hong Kong Egg Waffles caught our attention. The place was clean and not overwhelming at all. We were pleasantly surprised to see photos of K-Pop celebrities on the wall. We're casual K-Pop fans, but prefer the older generation of it, so when we saw the merch and list of groups, it dawned on us that this place was where they do kpop-related events. We had never been to one before. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. I informed them that it was our first time there and they were kind enough to help walk me through on how to customize the Fruity Macaron Hong Kong Egg Waffles. We chose caramel for our syrup, strawberry for our ice cream, and opted in for the powdered sugar. Takes about 7 to 8 minutes to make, which they let you know. But it is WORTH it. I'm aware other boba shops sell bubble waffles, but this is our first and it was amazing. Surprisingly, the waffle stayed warm despite the ice cream there. The caramel syrup, thankfully, was subtle and not insanely sweet. The strawberries were almost sour, but not enough to dislike it. The bananas were nice and warm. My girlfriend's top comment was about the ice cream and I agree. The ice cream itself is creamy and the texture of it is a nice middle between how it is when you pull it out of the fridge and soft serve ice cream. The best part is you can actually order a scoop on its own for about $4.99. Overall, this dessert was perfectly balanced. So good that we were craving it again and came back the following week! We only ordered one drink: the "Feel Special", which was a Golden Mango Peach Tea with Lychee Jelly. Interestingly enough, many of the drinks are named after K-Pop songs and while the drinks may remain the same, the names can rotate out. The drink was pretty good, nothing too exciting. Tastes similar to other Mango Green Teas we've had at several places, but with a subtle hint of peach for this one. Will update this review when we decide to try more drinks and the other foods, but will definitely keep ordering those waffles! — Ratings — Last updated 2025-03-25 Drinks: 4/5 Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Cost: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4.5/5

First time here... seems empty non-inviting atmosphere. The employees don't acknowledge or Welcome you when you walk into the door - they look robotic. Dessert looks great and very tasty... I guess we will try again.

It feels like you’re at a college dorm room blasting K pop music with BTS all over the walls. They have so many choices on the menu that I didn’t know what to get. They had March favorites, April favorites, signature drinks, top 10 drinks, HK waffles. I normally get some sort of milk tea but decided to do fruit tea this time. I got winter melon ($6.89) from the top 10 menu. It came with coco pineapple jelly bits already. It’s flavored winter melon so it had that syrupy earthy herbal taste. My BF got Happiness which was mango kiwi green tea with coco pineapple bits. This one had a mixture of sweet and sour. They sell desserts like HK puffle waffle with ice cream and jiggly cake ($12.99). I didn’t want to get the cake but my BF wanted to support a small business so we ended up getting the cake which I regret. It wasn’t good. Yes it was jiggle when you shake the box but it was a dry knock off version of Sara Lee pound cake. Parking in this plaza was easy. Tapioca Express is a few doors down. For the price, I would say it’s worth it because you can get the same mixture at another place in Clairemont for $8-11. I find this place just average and feel like we need to give it another try because I just don’t see the equivalent of 5 star review that others wrote.

so i recently went here with my friend for a pop up and they got the cookies and cream with banana and it straight up tasted like ice and banana. and i got the waffle with ice cream and the fruit and it was okay? definitely not worth 15$, wasn’t the worst thing ever tho. my friends drink 100% shouldn’t have been 10$ and i think bec they have so many drinks on their menu they can’t really pay attention to the quality of each drink.

I didn’t order anything, I could have but I was treated like a dog by the person that was working there between 12 to 1pm on 9/9/25. She literally shewed me away. The place was empty, which makes me wonder if it’s always that way based on how I was being treated. A potential customer that could have brought it a lot more traffic just got a 1 star rating instead. Treat people better.
