Clean, the donuts were amazing! Service was awesome. Thank you!
A nice spot for a quick and cheap breakfast and friendly service
Yes I was without I didn't have enough... I left with a smile. Because I only would I treat it with much kindness but I was made to feel important.. early morning and late night the staff is very considered and special people..!!!!
Just a short walk from where we stay on San Ysidro Blvd. whenever I'm in San Diego. Love this little bakery/coffee shop. We don't have a Yum Yum on the East Coast! This must be a West Coast place so it's a little treat when I come to this side of the country! The staff are super kind and friendly too. I really enjoy their healthy fruit drinks and their donuts are amazing. Lots to choose from.
In 1971, Philip C. Holland started Yum Yum Donut Shops, Inc. The first shop was a former Orange Julius in Highland Park, California. This shop is still in operation and is one of the highest volume shops in the chain. Phil had become familiar with the donut business through a friend who owned a shop. He had also spent time in North Carolina working with Vernon Rudolph, the founder of Krispy Kreme Donuts. By 1973, Phil had three Yum Yum donut shops and was anxious to expand. Frank Watase joined as an equal partner. Since donut shops are open 7 days a week, Phil and Frank put in endless amounts of time and effort to operate the shops and develop new locations. Because of their experiences building the business through hard work and dedication, Yum Yum has a very strong work ethic throughout the organization to this day.
We came at about midnight and the donuts were delicious and fresh. We got jelly and Boston cream.
The donuts there are very good. I really like that they are open all night. Never know when the craving for a donut will happen! And they were very dog friendly and even gave my dog a treat! Also the sandwich was bigger then I expected! Good job
I just bought some donuts and the truth is that the attention of the 2 girls was very pleasant, my child is happy, I really think it is new owners because I stopped buying that time, the staff from before was very rude, the truth is that it is cleaner, more light, more variety I congratulate you
I'm from Vegas and had to stop here before heading back home. Staff is super friendly, cashiers helpful and patient. I will definitely make it a must stop every time when i come to visit! The strawberry ice cream was delicious and the chocolate donuts too! Thanks!
They had only one employee who was the most pleasant, focused, and calm that I have ever seen! She is apparently holding that place up by herself. The line was long, and so was my order. She remained calm even though the line was getting longer and finished my order to perfection! Oh, and the bagels and donuts were delicious!
I don't ever get fresh donuts here no matter when I go there. But donuts are donuts.
I used to like this place but I don't think so not anymore Donuts dinner Taste of fresh after the second bite and throw it away service was too slow so no thank you next time I go to Imperial Beach better service
Decided to try this location out instead of the one in Telegraph and what a huge mistake. Horrible service and even worse variety. It was 7:10am and they had very few selection. The muffins where half the size of the store in Telegraph. They had no croissants and hardly any bagel selection for the sandwiches. Very poor quality food compared to the other 2 yum yum stores in the south bay. Will not be coming back to this location.
This place is fully stocked with donuts during the day but if you come at night after 7:00 p.m. don't expect to find a whole lot this is what it usually looks like. Workers there are all very nice and friendly service is always on point only problem I have is that they don't do enough prep.
Apple fritter was bad. The bread part was not fresh It tasted like it was old and the apple inside was bad.
So disorganized waited 20 minutes and could not get any help. The person behind the counter does not know how to priorize his time. I left I'll take my business elsewhere.
Picked up a half dozen donuts for after dinner only to notice that my wife and 2 year old nephew were eating a raw cinnamon roll. We went back around 1:30am to let them know that it was raw, they treated us like we were crazy the guys tore the donut apart just to make sure it was raw because they didn’t believe us. They made it look like I tried to steal something form them and they kept my receipt. I wasn’t trying to make a big deal over a $2 cinnamon roll I was trying to make sure they knew so they wouldn’t sell it to more people and get them sick.
