URBN Pizza is known for its giant, delicious New Haven-style thin crust pizzas and a cool, chill vibe. The large pizzas are huge and can be customized with different toppings on each half. Parking can be difficult, but Jamal, the bartender, is frequently praised for great service.

Great staff, quality pizza and appetizers and cool atmosphere. Our group of 8 will continue to go. Thank you!
I have eaten here twice now and each time was really good. Well poured drinks from the bar and the pizzas? Outstanding. The guy behind the bar who poured my drinks and took our orders is The Man. Jamal (I believe that is his name) is: Friendly, outgoing, and just so cool. I recommend URBN to pizza lovers, people going out for dates, or just a place to relax and eat in a cool atmosphere. If I had them, I would raise ten thumbs up.
Came here with my husband on a Tuesday around 4:30pm. It was very quiet with only a handful of customers and one person working behind the bar. I’m not sure if they’re always pet friendly but there were a couple of customers with their pups at the bar, so you might be able to drink your fur baby with you; I would just call to ask first. Anyway, I ordered the small garlic Alfredo pizza and my husband got the hot honey pepperoni pizza. Their pizzas are rectangular and similar to Neapolitan pizza in that they are made in wood fired ovens and have a slightly charred crust. The small is about 12”-14” long by about 9”-11” wide, so it’s a good size for one if you’re hungry! The Gouda garlic Alfredo pizza is a white pie with chicken, mozz, spinach, and sundried tomato. I loved the combination of Gouda, with the white sauce and garlic. The sun-dried tomatoes provided delicious little bursts of flavor that I really enjoyed. The hot honey pizza is probably one of the most unique pizzas I’ve tried. The sweetness from the hot honey went really well with the pepperoni and pizza sauce. Overall this was a great experience and I will definitely be back to try other pizzas.
A longtime neighborhood favorite serving quality pizza in a welcoming, social setting. The menu includes thoughtful vegan options, making it a reliable choice for diverse tastes. Its staying power over the years is a testament to consistently doing things right.
We had the chance to try URBN Pizza at a pop-up event at a brewery, and it was such a great experience! We ordered a pepperoni, jalapeño, and hot honey pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was crispy and perfectly cooked from their wood-fired oven, and the toppings were just the right amount—fresh and flavorful. We were just looking for an afternoon snack, so we split the pizza between six of us, and it was the perfect size—everyone got one to two slices, and it hit the spot. The two guys working were super friendly and helpful, recommending the hot honey, which ended up being a game-changer for flavor. After trying it here, I’ll definitely be visiting their restaurant soon! If you love wood-fired pizza with fresh ingredients and a crispy crust, URBN Pizza is a must-try. 🍕🔥
Delicious thin crust pizzas and wings. Casual industrial style restaurant. You have to try the Thanksgiving pizza, it's my favorite. The meatball pizza was very good too. Wings are very good too. A small pizza feeds two people generously. Parking is always difficult, prepare to walk a bit.
In a nutshell; Great food, easy dine-in or take out experience, but only difficulty is just parking. They have anchovies pizza, which I don't think a lot of places sell now adays, or at least ones that I know of, so this was a surprise. They were great enough to accept a pickup order just as they were about to close so that's a plus for providing quality food Just as their pickup window was closing down. The establishment certainly fits their name as an "urban park". The employees were nice as far as I interacted with them. Again only qualm about the place and ones around it is that it is street parking and that can have its share of problems. Overall neat place. Try the anchovies pizza.
I ordered a large red pie through a delivery service and I was really impress with the size. It was as big as my kitchen table, and delicious. They let you add different toppings on each half of the pizza, and the cost of the pie plus the toppings was around 30$. The pizza was tasty and the crust was really nice (I love crust!) I will definitely eat here again.
We drive by this place a lot. But this is the first time we come to check it out because my husband wanna eat pizza. The most surprising thing is that the pizza’s size is giant!!! Their pizza has two size options, small or large. We saw the price and thought large should be a normal size, but, it is amazingly super big! The taste of the pizza is super delicious, my husband is half Italian and he’s really happy about it. We built our own pizza, red sauce with pepperoni and salami with broccoli and bell peppers. We also loved their urbn salad. I recommend here for sure.
So very damn delicious. Cool space and vibe -super chill. The mashed potato bacon pizza was something I thought we could only get back home in Portland, ME at OTTOS - SHOUT-OUT BEST PIZZA EVER by far tho if you get the chance to go ever you need to go. They have a really good happy hour here, some unique and local drinks, and the pizza and wings were truly scrumptious. Service was good.
Eggplant parmesan pizza is 10/10 and their ranch was yummy too! Everything I've tried here is great, except for the brussel sprouts. They tasted like mint, which was an odd combination with the bacon and balsamic vinegar.
Service was only amazing because of jamal!! He was amazing from start to finish accommodating our party of 8. When we first arrived the host in the front who is in this picture said they could not sit us because they had 2 reservations of a party of 12 and 15 but yet there was MANY empty tables and failed to even give us options of splitting our party of 8 into different smaller tables. She just rudely turned us away. It wasn’t until we asked if we could just get 2 small tables that she let us sit but has a bad attitude about it. It wasn’t until we were sat and Jamal came to us and we saw a table in the very back of the restaurant that seats 8 exactly that we asked him if that table was available and he said yes and moved us so we could all be together. From start to finish JAMAL was amazing . Constantly checking in with us. This place needs more employees like him. Not like the host at the front rude and not even accommodating and on top of it INAPPROPRIATELY dressed for a family restaurant. See the pic attached to see what she was wearing the purple jump suit with her pants down her butt .
The food was delicious and the pizza portion was wild, but the wait was a little long. It makes sense since the pizza is delicious and very large when you get the large! We had the hot honey and woooow it was delicious. We also tried the Baja bladed hard seltzers which are the special currently!
We usually go to and prefer the El Cajon URBN, but we thought we give this one a try. It's hard to find parking in this area. The restaurant has a long bar and was floorplan is very large and open. It atmosphere felt like it might be more geared towards the evening bar scene than restaurant, but since it was in the afternoon, there were only a few customers. Pizza was fresh, good, very thin.
The pizza is ok and place was expensive. $30 for a pizza, Mexican coke, and a strawberry soda. Service was terrible, took way too long to get our food and our drinks. They didn't take our order until we had already been sitting down for 25 mintues. I don't like the way you have to pay as they stare at you to see if you'll leave a tip when they bring their handheld machine. I don't recommend this place.
