14 Peaks Nepalese Cuisine is a fantastic restaurant! The food is delicious, and the service is impeccable. The staffs are friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is both sophisticated, clean and inviting. They have open kitchen and exciting to watch over. I highly recommend the jhol chicken mo:mo, mix soup, the goat thali set, and chicken thali. (Please ask chili sauce if you want little more spicy.) It's a hidden gem with authentic Nepalese flavors in the heart of San Francisco. I'll definitely be back! Thank you!
We decided to try 14 Peaks as we were attending a show at the Brava Theater, and hadn't eaten around this part of the mission before. From the start we were impressed with the incredibly friendly service. To start, we got the fish pakora. Although deep fried, the pakora were crispy without being greasy or heavy, and had a nice fresh flavor when dipped in the accompanying mint sauce. For our entrees, we got the daal makhani and the mixed vegetable curry. Both entrees were very tasty, but our favorite was the daal makhani, which had a nice smoky flavor. We also got a side of garlic naan and Peshwari naan. Although I hadn't had Peshwari naan before and was skeptical about whether it would go with the meal with its sweet flavors, the filling of coconut, almonds, and sultanas was so delicious that it was my favorite part of the meal. Also, although it was sweet, it didn't have too much sweetness to create an imbalance against the rest of the things we ordered. Highly recommend this place for great food and impeccable service!
I had an amazing experience at 14 Peaks Nepalese Cuisine in San Francisco! The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Highly recommend trying the Spicy Chicken Wings, Wai Wai Sadheko, COMBO (Veg. Pakoras, Lamb Curry, Veg of the day, Rice & Naan), Pork Sausage, and Samosa Chaat – it's a must-try! The staff was also friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back!"
We live in the neighborhood and decided to try this restaurant tonight. THE FOOD!! So delicious and flavorful. All the dishes tasted different. Spices were amazing. We ordered our food medium and it was perfect. We ordered all chicken dishes and a sampler platter, naan, and coconut rice. I’m really picky about the meat I eat. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very clean. The veg dish that came with the sampler had tofu that tasted so unlike tofu. Really good! Staff was super nice and attentive asking for feedback and helping with the menu. We were talking on the way home that we can’t wait to take friends and visitors here!
Amazing food and they had Nepal Ice! The chicken Sekuwa was super delicious! That spicy sauce that came with momo was so flavorful! Come give it a try and you won't be disappointed!
We came here for lunch and there was enough space for a stroller. There were several group tables. Everything was delicious. Naan had the right amount of fluffiness. Momos are handmade and delicious. Goni Manchurian was the star. I would definitely come back.
First time trying Nepalese food, and it was perfect. The lentil dish was very similar to Turkish cuisine, very delicious; the fried vegetables which we ordered as both an entrée and a main dish were outstanding. The plate was great for a warm meal. The staff was really kind and attentive, always keeping an eye out to see if we have any asks. Will definitely go once again I'm in SF.
Yummy new neighbourhood restaurant. Dishes were delicious, especially the chilli momos, chow mein and the bhajiyas. Lots of seating. Easy to get to by 48 bus or BART. The owner Suman was very friendly and told us they actually have a sister store in Calgary!
This restaurant is amazing! My friends recommended it to me and I went with my wife. We got the onion bhajia, lamb biryani, butter chicken, palak paneer, and chicken sakuwa. We also got the garlic and cheese naan. It was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend coming to this restaurant. The staff is awesome, food is awesome, and my wife and I licked the plates clean!
happened upon 14 peaks while out on a walk. it smelled amazing from the street so we decided to grab some dinner. so delicious! apparently it was their first night open. they didn’t have the lamb sekuwa or the momos we initially ordered but offered up substitutions that were so delicious we didn’t even mind. ended up having the shahi paneer and chicken sekuwa, with some garlic naan and rice. we would absolutely recommend both! the shahi paneer was not spicy, but well flavored. the chicken was also not spicy, but covered in spices and incredibly juicy. the veggies were so flavorful and went perfectly with the chicken. we will definitely stop by again and try the rest of their menu!

Great hidden gem in the Mission for Nepalese food. It's very new and not many people know about this place. The biryani was tasty and moist. The chicken momo was juicy. And the veg pakora was fresh.
Tasty Nepalese food in the Mission! Friendly staff, great portion sizes and cozy environment. Also vegan friendly!
Very nice service, the food is delicious, from the starters to the thali. The sides, naans and mushroom rice were very good too. A lot of vegetarian options, but not only. Nice atmosphere too, and a lot of locals. Reasonable prices.
Very welcoming and kind people! I like how clean, organized, and spacious the restaurant is. The food was delicious, and I definitely recommend the chai.

Momos were delicious, chicken thali had good variety of small dishes, wai wai was too salty for my liking. Overall service was nice.
Arrived here a bit after the lunch hour and it was fairly quiet with only a few other customers. Ordered the Combo#2 (butter chicken) on their lunch special. It was very tasty! Everything tasted great, if anything it did not need the cucumber and carrot added in the side/salad(?). Otherwise great place to come and have a good meal!
Try wai wai sadheko here. It's spicy and refreshing at the same time. Jhol in jhol momo is really good too. I just wish there was some more jhol. The momo itself is very juicy. Momo wrap was a but thicker that I liked. It needs more filling and less dough.

Much better Nepalese food in the Mission than this place, sorry. Don’t understand the 4.8 star average, but a lot of people probably like the overly sweet tomato flavors that several dishes had. Authentic it is not.
Serving a wide selection of Nepali, Indian, Tibetan and Chinese-Indian dishes, the menu is near encyclopedic of all things Himalayan. While the curries are surely tasty, the Chicken Thukpa noodle soup was an unfortunate let down. A meager handful of spaghetti noodles served in a near flavorless broth (with only the presence of chili), chopped cabbage and a few pieces of what was batter-fried chicken — underwhelming to say the least. I’ll be back however to try the thali or lunch specials which I hope will bring the ratings up.
