I pulled up next to him at the red light, his window was down so I asked him where I could get a really good deli sandwich...now get this! The officer says "follow me and don't stop until we get there" The dude jumps ahead of me and puts the red lights on and gives me a police escort all the way to the Redwood Sandwich Company Delicatessen! That's what I call service! My sando was Amazing! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

I've had the vegetarian and the chicken pesto sandwich from here. Both were excellent sandwiches. Fresh ingredients and made well. The chicken pesto is one of my favorites from here so far. It is more like a chicken pesto salad sandwich, so if you like pesto and chicken salad (the chicken is really juicy mixed with tasty pesto, so not a chicken salad in that it has other non-chicken ingredients, but it is like a pesto chicken salad, if that makes sense), then I recommend the chicken pesto sandwich. I get the balsamic dressing on the side because it makes the bread soggy, and I've never liked soggy bread. The fresh mozzarella that comes with the chicken pesto sandwich is sliced thick and is amazing. I recommend this place, especially the chicken pesto sandwich. I think the chicken pesto sandwich is called the chicken caprese on the menu. Employees are friendly and professional.

Consistently delicious and today was no different. The guys working tonight were friendly, sweet, and professional. Clear by their conversation with each other that they care about a quality product and know exactly what they’re doing. Thanks for making my dinner tonight! My French dip was bomb.

Don’t walk, RUN! Seriously the best sandwiches in Chico! Very kid friendly with excellent customer service. We had their Tri tip bleu cheese sandwich and their ruben on marbled rye — both were amazing.

Update 12/21: The staff that was terrible at customer service has been replaced. Furthermore the sandwich's have not had any sauce issues in multiple consecutive orders since posting my original review. It's safe to say everything I had issue with has been fixed. I would also say that they give you a solid amount of ingredients for what you pay for. Great job turning things around guys. Appreciate it! Terrible service, and the sandwich was oozing with mayo. Mayo was oozing out of the bread in every spot when I took a bite so I had to break the sandwich apart to scoop it out. Disgusting. Ended up throwing almost half of it away I'm sick to my stomach as I write this review. Not sure why the other reviews are so high. I live around the corner so I was hoping this could be my new go to spot for after the gym. Extremely disappointed.

The food was absolutely amazing!! I shared an Italian type sandwich and a ceasar salad with a friend. The sandwich was nice and big for only about 9 dollars. Nice job!!

10/10 sandwich shop, I’d been meaning to check this place out for a while and it did not disappoint. Solid prices and great high quality sandwich. Easily the best French Dip I’ve had in a long time. The employees were so nice I remember the guy handing me the bag of sandwiches saying “Here you go I think these came out awesome” and he was absolutely right! 11/10 actually!

First time here! Got a turkey, bacon, avocado, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle on sourdough roll. The turkey was thick none of that processed crap others serve. I will definitely make this place a regular stop for lunch. My food was made pretty quick for lunch time on a Friday. Very pleased!

They have any bread you like, most times of the day. They even grill it with butter upon request! I always get the same thing, and yes the macaroni is good! Always fresh and tasty.

I picked up lunch from The Redwood Sandwich yesterday, and I'm happier with the bread situation... the ciabatta roll was incredible! They are very accommodating of customizations: ingredient swaps, toasted or grilled bread, etc. I ordered the California Club, and while it includes bacon and a thin layer of avocado, one slice of turkey felt a little insulting at $14.66. Overall, it was a delicious flavor combo but I'm still not sure I'd put this in my regular rotation based on what I value as an ideal deli sammy.

I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing! The service is great! The prices are great! But its way to hot inside to really want to sit and enjoy a meal. They need air conditioning!!

The last time I was there was last year (my sandwich was made incorrectly then also) I ordered a veggie sandwich, no tomato, add avocado, which is an upcharge. Go back to work, no avocado, plenty of tomatoes. I spent over 20$ (not including the tip) on the sandwich and a small mac salad. I did call after my shift to let them know, the person I spoke to was very considerate and confirmed my order was wrong by looking through the past receipts. If I ate tomatoes I probably wouldn't have cared, but this just ruined my experience, again.
