We were just walking by from out of town and happened into Blackwood for Brunch and it did not dissapoint! Service was above and beyond.... drinks never went under half way. All 4 of our food dishes were amazing and no one in our party was dissapointed. The vibes were good and decor beautiful inside. I don't always give 5+ stars and this place is a 10! We will be back next time we are in town for sure!

This is a very beautiful and unique restaurant! I had to try the pineapple fried rice which is served in the pineapple. It was very, very good. I also loved the colorful cocktail. My friend liked her food too but said it was a bit salty. So, maybe not consistent quality throughout the menu. Additionally, it is QUITE pricey (I paid over $50 w/ tip for the rice and cocktail)

Fantastic food and wonderful dining experience. Ordered family style for our family. Appetizers were on point. Loved the Ahi Tuna (chef's kiss). They have plenty of selections. I suggest getting the beef noodle soup because the beef was so soft and falling off the bone. It was perfect for the cold weather in San Francisco. They also have braised beef for appetizers it was scrumptious! Their curry is okay it's too sweet for my liking. Very busy during the weekend but they have very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be back again.

Came here for dinner and every dish was perfect and delicious! I am very picky with my Thai food, but this place definitely does Thai right. Charming ambiance as well.

With my daughter , she’s eaten here often and said it was always good. Curry thai chicken, sexy ahoha with prawns. Samosas were great appetizer along with fried pumpkin.

Food was fresh with quality ingredients. Service was fast but not the friendliest. I wish they had more vegetarian options especially on the lunch menu. Server told me they can't make any of the lunch options vegetarian (regular menu was more expensive and they are able to make those vegetarian) I asked for no onions and got extra onions instead. There are alot of flies on the patio in the front also.

The stone bowl was great and a huge portion. I would probably share it next time. Loved the Marina Steak. This my second time here and have enjoyed it both times. Great service, our server mixed up the stone bowl for me.

Really nice ambience. The food was so-so. The beverages were amazing! I tried the spring rolls, yellow curry and pad see you. They were okay; nothing to write home about. I’d the spiced almond lavender - it was yummy! 😋😋 The staff are really patient and nice! Parking may get tricky!!

Honestly this is probably one of the better restaurants in the Marina in my opinion in terms of food quality and value. I've been here plenty of times and it's always great and quick service.

Loved the curries, soups were okay. Very big portion sizes and the prices were a little high. The location is great though.

Brunch was delicious and Nathan our server was outstanding. We were not finished eating yet and owner/hostess had the nerve to come ask us to hurry up as she needed table. We were a party of 3 and the table behind ours was a party of 6 who were there prior to us sitting down and were not asked to hurry up. It was so rude even the waiter apologized. I could understand if we had been there for hrs but we hadn’t been there more than 45 minutes. I will never go back even though food and service was excellent. If you want business as an owner I would recommend that you are more courteous to customers!!

It was a beautiful day in SF and my bestie and I stopped in here for brunch. Wait staff kept coming and asking to take our order which felt borderline rushed. I had the drunken noodles with chicken it was good. However, they got my friends order wrong and it was cold when it arrived, not good Don't think I will be back. Nice outdoor seating and clean bathroom.

Been meaning to try this for a while- the lunch/savory options looked so good but only tried the chicken and waffles. Was very excited about them, but I give it a 3/5. Waffle not as crispy as I would have liked, and wasn't too big a fan of the fried chicken. The batter was too close to the batter that fish and chips would have. Pricey too overall. Excellent presentation though! Did have a bite of the deep fried french toast, found it too greasy/oily.

Overpriced with poor food quality Visited for lunch at 1:30 PM. Ordered beef noodle ($26+), pad Thai, and kid's stir fried noodle with chicken. Issues: Beef noodle: Tough, chewy beef with dark edges suggesting it wasn't fresh. Overpriced for what tastes like below-average pho Pad Thai: Too sweet, mediocre quality Kid's noodle: Chicken was chewy, child couldn't finish the dish. Menu unclear about noodle type Additional charges: 6% SF Employee Benefit Mandate (highest I've encountered at any SF restaurant). Combined with inflated food prices, leaves little room for proper tipping. Food quality doesn't justify the high prices and excessive surcharges. Many better Asian restaurants in the area for less money and without gouging customers on fees. Service: Standard Atmosphere: Good Price: Expensive for the quality received Would not recommend based on this experience.

I visited this restaurant with my friends for my birthday dinner after checking the Google reviews. The ambiance is beautiful, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre, and the service was terrible. We started with a few drinks recommended by the server, which were decent. However, the food lacked flavor. To make things worse, they served our main course without rice because, according to them, it was still cooking—we had to wait 15 minutes for it. The worst part of the experience was finding a hair in both the fried calamari and the salmon while my partner was eating. We immediately brought this to the manager’s attention. She apologized, removed the item from the bill, and offered us two free drinks. When we received the bill, we noticed a $70 auto-gratuity had been added. Upon questioning the manager about this, she became argumentative. We asked if she would take responsibility for any health issues my partner might face due to the contaminated food, but she outright refused. Instead, she removed the auto-gratuity but then charged us for the "on-the-house" drinks. To top it all off, we ended up with food poisoning. Be aware before dining here!
