While staying in the city and working on a musicians budget, I'm always looking for an affordable place to eat and Mexican food always provides this. The restaurants in Noe Valley tend to be pricey but this one has its prices just like the ones in the Mission District. A local told me they have it raised their prices in years and that's absolutely wonderful. The staff is extremely friendly and I loved eating there night after night.

Sampled a couple burritos and cheese enchiladas. I think both these dishes were of good value made and served by really cool nice people. Chips were fresh and consistent in texture throughout time - a must. I like the two or three slash options they have - who needs 9 salsas? Nobody can taste that much salsa. Two is enough. I am considering making this my consistent and solid burro spot in this part of town.

Standard Tex Mex, subway style assembly line with friendly staff. Efficient service and a bright nicely furnished space, The food was good but minus one star as it doesnt really compete with mission restaurants in close proximity.

This is a nice, simple Mexican, that doesn't pretend to be something it isn't. The staff are kindness itself and that shows also in the food. It's one of the few places that does tostada bowls, so I'm way happy.

Delicious Mexican food and many vegetarian options. A wonderful vibe as you walk in and wait for your order to be taken. I could stay there all day and watch as tomatillo salsa is being prepared and burritos are rolled into shiny silver packages.

This is my go to in Noe Valley for the last 10 years now. The prep cook during the day is amazing. All fresh ingredients and they'll make & customize anything you want.

Been going to this spot since the early 90's and they're still serving delicious food with fresh ingredients and great service. Love their horchata too. I remember playing in the back outdoor area when I was a kid and am so happy this place is still going strong.

Good, cheap Mexican food! Burritos are fat and keep you going for hours! They have a wide variety of meats and condiments along with special dishes! Definitely worth going to if you want quick, delicious food

If that isn’t enough the employees are super friendly and go the extra mile to make your dining experience a nice one. Try them out. You won’t be disappointed!

I drag myself from 30 minutes away to come here somewhat regularly. I can't overstate just how friendly the staff is. From the moment you get in line to when you're eating is probably under 5 mins. That alone deserves recognition. Prices are very reasonable, and are a big part of why I keep coming back. I eat quite a bit for my size, and their azteca burrito is more than enough to fulfill my cravings. They usually have some sports on the TVs too, which makes for great entertainment while destroying plates of food. I saw quite a few regulars during my lunch visit, and it was nice to see the staff chatting and laughing with them. It makes the atmosphere feel quite friendly and inviting, and that always makes the food taste even better. If they could open a second location closer to me, my wallet would be in real constant danger! Great work to all involved in running this business, from management to the cooks and cashiers.

The food is of great quality and the prices are reasonable for a place in Noe Valley. Although I didn't particularly like the horchata the super burrito that I got was delicious and the staff were all very nice. I am definitely planning on going back when I'm in the area!

If you want to grab a quick bite or a full meal, this is the place to go. We went in there for an early dinner of 2 tacos which were super heavy, delicious and fulfilling! Nice vegetarian options as well.

Chips taste of stale oil (at best). Meat is fine - flavors are average. Red salsa is spicy but not much flavor. Green salsa is good. Refried beans (probably from a can) are too wet. Staff is super friendly. It’s typical SF bulk sourced taqueria food served by nice people.

The service is unprofessional. Workers spoke in Spanish in front of my Asian wife talking negative about her being difficult with the order just because she requested no cheese in one plate and no sour cream in the other plate. This is not the first time they talk about her in front of her; they think she's doesn't understand Spanish but unfortunately she speaks Spanish.

This is my favourite taqueria, but I'm really annoyed at them right now, because everything says they're open until 10:00pm, but they locked me out at 9:02pm. If you change your hours, update your stencil and website. I came from the East Bay just for this.

I’ve been here for lunch countless times and I always wonder…what Mexican spots similar to this space REFUSE to have salsa bars? They literally wanted to charge me for more for salsa…forget the radish, cilantro, jalapeños, onions, etc. options at a salsa bar,…just salsa—and you needed to request it from the cashier. The third 1 ounce plastic ramekin….’sure, but there a cost for that.’ This place is simply ripping off the neighborhood and their clientele. Would be nice if they paid their employees prevailing wages, but putting up with this nonsense post covid, I’ve also learned that isn’t the case sadly. Please do better.
