$75 for 2 people including tax + tip, very nice sit down restaurant with full service n cloth napkins n everything! The butter chicken and naan was fire, yes I'm basic.
So it's Chinese NY and typically I would seek out a Chinese restaurant to celebrate and eat some long noodles for the good of life... But here we are I stumbled upon Himalayan Hub and as it's rather cold in the foggy city I wasn't in the mood to search for alternatives and I'm so happy I didn't!!! This was an amazing experience. I'm sure you all had your experiences where you go for Indian and or Nepalese food and after you leave you feel stuffed and a bit heavy. I was surprised that Himalayan Hub manages to bring out dishes which are light, crisp, rich and bold in flavor at the same time. The interior is rather nicely done, I do think they could dim the lights a bit to make it feel a bit warmer or add a touch of warmer paint but other than that it works and it is inviting. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive and the food rolled out fresh and hot from the kitchen. The chicken tandoori was so outstanding... I will go back in a heart beat.
I miss Nepal so much, One day, my friend and I were passing by this place, and the exterior immediately reminded me of Kathmandu. I knew I had to bring him here to try some Nepali food - and I’m so glad I did. I loved the clean, tidy interior and the warm, thoughtful decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and cheerful the server’s smile was unforgettable. We ordered the chicken momo and Thali (I absolutely love Dal bhat!), along with the fish curry. The momo arrived first, and with just one bite, I felt like I was back in Nepal. I’ve missed that flavor so much. The thali and fish curry didn’t disappoint either! everything was incredibly delicious! You can really tell the Chef cooks with heart, and I also appreciated the beautiful plating. Thank you for giving me a taste of Nepal again and for giving my friend such a wonderful first experience with Nepali cuisine.
As someone what’s sucker for good food and a pleasant atmosphere, I can confidently say that this place has it all. I ordered chicken biryani, jhol momo, milk tea, and chole bhature. I requested for my meal to be spicier to suit my taste, and everything was a perfect 10/10.I highly recommend it! Here are some pictures from my visit ever since they opened.
Indo-Chinese at its finest with a touch of Nepalese delicacy and warm hospitality. Finally a budget friendly restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy the modern Nepalese cuisine without harming their wallet! MOMO and chowmeins are MUST. Try it once, try it twice-make it your hub, you won’t regret! Cheers to the new gem in Mission neighborhood.
Really good lamb biryani!! Kid of a gem. It feels good to eat somewhere that have reasonable prices
Authentic Himalayan Nepalese experience, Reminded me of back home. Decor and ambiance on point. If you’re Nepali, you KNOW EXACTLY what you want to order before you even look at the menu. They have that exact item and they’re big, juicy and plentiful to satiate the appetite.
Great food with a delightful spice, wonderful service, very affordable (wine was $4.99/glass), and real flame candles at the tables. WOW.
True to Nepalise taste, without any extra masala. I enjoyed the veg thali. Pleasant experience, courtesy of the cashier/server (Dilip). Cozy intimate seating. I'll definitely return.
This is probably one of the best south Asian restaurants in SF...super low-key, but service and food were amazing. Will definitely be returning.

Best Chai in San Francisco. Me and my wife came here on our trip recently, we loved the Chai at this spot, and kept coming back for the Chai! If I was living in SF, we'd be a regular at this place! Get the Chai!
Absolutely delicious food. Every dish was rich in flavor, clearly prepared with care, and packed with that distinct home-cooked soul you don’t find often. The garlic naan and chicken tikka masala were standouts — fresh, fragrant, and perfectly spiced. But what truly makes this place special is the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. It felt like being hosted by friends. If you’re looking for a flavorful, and heartfelt spot in the city — this is it. Himalayan Pub doesn’t just serve great food, it serves great experiences.
Have eaten at this restaurant multiple times. Great food. Great service, the server always chirpy and with a broad smile. Great pricing. Quantity can be slightly better. Overall, awesome place!
My husband and I came here for the first time. We found the food delicious. Very good service and an overall good experience. We will come back and bring friends!
Very very tasty! Several days later I’m still thinking about the dishes we ate there. Curry, Choila, and the momos in a sauce, maybe Johl Momos were outstanding, vibrantly spiced and complex but balanced. I tasted a numbing spicy flavor like szechuan peppercorn but different, googled and found there’s a related species used in Nepal called Timur or Timut pepper. Yum! Had a bit of a a language barrier when I asked the server about it so I’m not certain but anyway, very tasty and reasonably priced.
Great food - especially the chow mein and momos. Good value, friendly service and big screen TVs with beautiful scenes from Nepal playing away. Go!
Seriously underrated. The owner wanted me to eat the panipuri in the restraunt when it was takeout order saying it would get soggy. I was like nah I'm still going to have that that takeout and he literally poured a bunch of the tamarind water into a Togo coffee cup with lid. The service is second to none. Also the lamb biryani is so good. Cost wise its not overly expensive. Taste wise its rlly good
The atmosphere is decent like a typical family business . The food was very typical, but a few items stood out. The wai wai sadeko is a salad of assorted diced vegetables mixed with raw instant noodles. I don't recommend it. The lal mohan is the same as a gulab jamun. I would highly, highly recommend the rasgulla. Nepal beers are much less bitter than American fare. I like the beers. Hefeweizen is supposed to have a live yeast culture but I think U.S. law killed it. Not creamy as advertised, but still a good wheat beer with no bitterness. Huge vegetarian selection on the food.

My daughter and I tried the Butter chicken, paneer momos, garlic naan, and garlic fries and they were all delicious (ordered more than we should since everything sounded good). We also had the Mango Lassi (delicious) and the house red wine (a bit sweeter than I like reds, but still good). Great price on wine and beer by the way probably a great place for an affordable happy hour. My daughter wants me to add that they played good music including Conan Gray, one of her favorites m
The service was unusually good, the food was delicious. (cauliflower curry, which is a very flavorful vegetarian dish with a little bit of heat), and affordable. The server treated us as if we were guests in their home.

The servers there are super sweet and have the best service !!! The food is so delicious and they can adjust the spice level to something that’s actually spicier than mild! I always get the biryani here I’m obsessed. This place is totally worth coming to. You won’t regret it.
Very good food and prices. Place is clean and the server is very nice as well. The only thing that took one star off is that this is not the most authentic experience. Otherwise, very good.

I had a great experience. The server was probably busy and the one who accommodated me was actually doing dishes. Later, both of them helped me pick a palate. Jhol momo’s jhol was a bit thick for my taste but it did taste wonderful. Very good atmosphere, very good service and tasty food.
