I can count an approximate 60 steps to pick up my Southern Chinese greasy goodness, from this humble, little hole in the wall in the middle of gritty Excelsior, my home of almost 40 years. Pan fried noodles, sweet sour pork, yang chow fried rice, and beef stewed in a cornucopia of cabbage and star anise! If you dont mind the yelling homeless guy or a latino jimmy swaggart telling the folks to save their heathen souls a few steps away, then this place is for you!

I give it 5 stars because it's actually open and in business still. This place is surrounded by vacant, boarded up businesses of the past. It's so sad so see the city in ruins. Let's hope for a comeback!

Large portions, great food, really great prices for the quality of food and size, and even easy location. Don't miss out this place!

Very good lunch specials. Their food is consistently good and the prices are really good. Most times, I get tea with my lunch special. Even when I get a coke, my bill is only $15, including a $2 tip. Highly recommended, and will continue to return to enjoy the items on the lunch special menu. They close at 3pm Monday through Saturday. They are closed on Sundays. Please be patient with the staff and remember to tip kindly...

We came here because our regular place was closed. Glad we did, it had been years. The food was very clean, minimal oil used so flavors really came out. Nothing fancy just solid Chinese American fare. We had Walnut Shrimp, and Vegetable Fried Rice. Cash only!

Orange chicken was good and had good flavor and the sweet and sour chicken had no taste at all. Meal size was very large, staff was nice, price was reasonable for the area. Restaurant overall has seen its heyday a few years ago.

As a Chinese customer, I sincerely suggest to the owner that this restaurant needs significant improvements in both its food and service. The style of the food is quite American, which does not match its price. I ordered a fried rice and a soup. The fried rice was acceptable, but the soup was extremely unpleasant. I didn’t even finish it. When I was about to take a break and check my phone, the staff unexpectedly urged me to eat quickly. I really don’t understand this behavior. In short, I hope this restaurant can make changes and improve their food and service.

I got a dish with rice at first I didn’t notice the smell after a few bites I noticed there’s a stale smell that rice gives off when it’s gone bad but I gave it the benefit of a doubt because the dish uses vinegar so I thought it might be the vinegar, but I got diarrhea after eating so I know that they gave me spoiled rice
