Wonderful small deserts store in Millbrae with a wide selection of Asian and western deserts as well as some delicious juices like watermelon smoothies. And they attract a diverse crowd of all ages ages and ethnicities, which is fantastic to see. Loved the chocolate desert that I got which was the perfect size — small and delicious!
Wonderful variety, cute pastries, strongly recommend the Macau pudding. Best Asian dessert place I've found in the Bay Area, and mango drinks are delicious too. Nice, attentive staff and very fast delivery.
If you like desserts/sweets- you have to try this place. So many good diverse dessert options. We had lunch at Wonderful next door and then went here. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The Macau Pudding was the favorite- so good.
My husband and I come here almost every week. We love their gelato, so many unique flavors. Their cakes and crepe are also amazing. A great place for some casual sweets and it’s also affordable.
The black sesame ice cream and dragon fruit sorbet were amazing but the real stars of the show were the “chocolicious” and the mango bubble desserts. We took them to go but we loved the decor miniature Japanese film related dioramas.
What a cute shop! The desserts were yummy and so elegant.
A lot of choices for desserts. I ordered steamed milk pudding with egg white. It was delicious and not too sweet. Pricy but it was ok for New Year holidays. Spacious. Clean. Friendly service.
Came and ordered via QR code. Fun displays to enjoy. Red bean soup was not too sweet. Mango sago was fresh. Tables were clean.
Excellent selection of Asian desserts and drinks. I love taro, coconut and black sesame and this place does them right. Service team is excellent, thanks🙏🏼. Flavor bombs 🤩Will revisit 🥰
Quite enjoyed all of the dessert options. It's a counter serve restaurant without a lot of indoor seating but the desserts are extremely tasty and quite unique. Hojicha tofu tart and mochi waffles were both tasty.
Do you dream in dessert? If so, Sweet Indulgence will surpass your wildest dreams! I was in San Francisco for work visiting from Washington DC. If you pass by this little cafe, you would be missing out on the most adorable, delectable and delightful hand crafted treats! I enjoyed two desserts: a jasmine matcha sponge cake with peach compote and a framboise with lychee mousse, almond sponge cake and topped with a fresh raspberry. Moist, perfectly crafted flavor combinations that had just the right amount of fruit pop on the tongue. This little cafe should be a mandatory visit dessert lovers!
The soy milk drinks were great and not too sweet. The French toast was the best. We had the matcha with sweetened condensed milk one. The soup picture is black sticky rice with taro and some sort of milk served hot. The mango pudding was very fresh. The sesame balls were sweet with peanut. Overall pretty good.
One of my best local gem with awesome Taiwanese deserts and drinks! Best part of this place is that it closes late, and they’ve got some nice warm tomato soup and many types of noodles to choose from. The food also feels gentle for your stomach at night, and the portions are perfect as well. Many of the items are handmade like the crepe layered matcha cakes which is pretty cool. The place is child friendly with great service. Do aware that some of their warm deserts take about 15 minutes to prepare, so you’ll need about 45 mins for your meal. Parking could be a little hard to find during weekend for dinner, but rest of the open hours are pretty good.
Tofu pudding with sticky rice and coconut milk is quite authentic and delicious! The vanilla crepe is also great but on the sweet end compared to lady M. Egg puff is ok.
Great place for good Asian snacks. When they open is a little oddly variable (rarely are they open at the opening time), but I can't find another place to get sweet tofu pudding with ginger syrup and their other drinks and deserts (I've added pictures of a matcha parfait and another matcha dessert) are fun too
Awesome desserts and there are so many options! I love the refreshing mango dessert a lot! Highly recommend and definitely will come back again!
A really cute and delicious HK dessert cafe. From the kitchy ambience to the wide menu you'll find something sweet, satisfying and refreshing. Surprised to see attentive table service and was recommended any of the mango desserts and drinks which really hit my sweet spot.
Wow wow wow... I swear, this place is the bomb for the dessert, let me tell you what we ordered, black sticky rice with coconut milk and manggo, mixed fruit crepe with nutella, fried instant noodle with black pepper beef and egg puff 🤤😲😱 they're soooooo delicious ! I love this place! Perhaps my new hang out with my bestie when I'm in town...thank you for these delicious heavenly food and dessert 🤗🤗😍

Good place for Asian desserts, a lot of variety. It can get busy here especially later in the day. It wasn't too busy when we got there but it filled up pretty quick. They actually have food that you can also order. I got the litchi framboise which was really good. My parents got the mini custard with ginger.
We were craving some Hong Kong-style dessert and found this place. You can scan the QR code on the table to order. They have a lot of selections from savory to sweet. We ordered the following: G05 Mango Delight Dessert with Grass Jelly G10 Black Sticky Rice with Mango and Coconut Milk H21 Honey Jelly with Mango Juice & Yogurt All of them tasted well, highly recommended!
Sweet Indulgence is a neat desert cafe. My mango coconut drink $6.75 was decent. It would have better if the coconut taste was more pronounced. The mango taste was too overpowering. The basil chicken $6.50 was acceptable. They put too much of the red powder on it and the chicken was not crunchy enough. This sweets cafe is not bad.
The sheer number of options here can be overwhelming, as they serve a plethora of traditional Chinese desserts from hot soups to cakes and drinks and other pastries. Tables are spaced on each side of the building and one can order from the QR codes on the table. There is a restroom in the back of the store that one can go to after requesting for the bathroom key! Given the small space, it can be a little crowded and chaotic.
Very clean place! Ordering is convenient and quick, and there are many desserts to choose from. The stewed eggs with ginger sauce we ordered are delicious.

Small business eatery, I came here for dessert with friends. Cute shop with spinning stools as seats for tables at center of restaurant. Pro - open later than other places on a weeknight (11:30pm), good service, lactose free friendly options (tofu ice cream). Con - prices aren't cheap and desserts are only ok - got Macau Mango Dessert and a Black Sticky Rice with taro and coconut.
Very cute atmosphere! The prices are high, so my family and I went as a one time thing. The seats in other pictures look nice, new and clean, but when we went there, it was cracked and looked old. Also, you don’t just take a seat, you go up to the cashier and they seat you. There are two menus! One is for those kind of deserts pictured there, and one is for the other stuff you didn’t come for lol. The waiter was quiet, due to the fact they want to be respectful. Also the rumors were true, they DO use IKEA pencil holders for water cups. But I guess they thought any other cup wouldn’t suffice to their aesthetic.
Let's not talk about price. Cause I didn't pay attention. Let's just talk taste: 1. Eggette - I actually thought it was pretty good. Crispy... The flavorful is so so. Just like eggette. 2. 双皮奶 (Double stream milk dessert?) - taste milky. Not bad. 3. Hokkaido milk roll - A little too sweet for my taste but tasted milky.
Check the reviews for what to order before going. There weren't many photos on the menu so we randomly ordered Toast with Butter and Condensed Milk and it literally was just regular toast...for $5. Oh and credit card minimum is $10 so we also got a mango smoothie, which was good. But yeah, wish they had more pictures on the menu.
Their Vanilla mille crepe was good. Their no samples for gelato policy is what will probably keep me from returning.
I do not recommend the gelato. I tried the vanilla and it had a very hollow flavor. There were also a lot of ice shards and it was not creamy at all. No samples are allowed and you can’t fit more than one flavor in a cup. You can get better gelato(Talenti) at Safeway. The place has nice homey vibe and it would be great to support local businesses. They use all biodegradable utensils and it’s common haunt for locals. I’ll come back and try other things on the menu to see if it changes my mind.
Ordered black sticky rice with mango and coconut milk Pros: Rice was ok and good texture, warm Coconut milk was good Cons: It was slushy and icy. I wasn’t expecting it to have ice. I was expecting the standard sticky rice mango from restaurants Mango was completely unripe Since everything was mixed together and slushy, it was a weird consistency
TLDR: ok Chinese dessert, lots of selection but really grouchy service We came here after dinner on a Friday night and it was pretty packed. We ordered dessert on our table and it came within 10-15 minutes. My dan lai was pretty tasty. Since it was pretty packed, there was a table of people sitting down to claim their spot before someone came to clean the table and the server who came to clean the table was so rude to them, it made me upset.

The food is overpriced and doesn’t taste very good. The service was extremely bad, I honestly don’t understand why the staff looked so angry the entire time.
Service was absolutely awful. The cashier/ waiter made it very obvious she did not want to be there and gave my friend and I a lot of attitude. She also basically threw our food on our table like she was a rush when there was only 1 other customer. Tried the mango and chocolate Macao pudding and a crepe, pudding was nice, crepe was awful.
