Excellent food and service. This is in a Golf Club where food is normally so so. Very well presented as well as high quality. Full bar and a variety of ontap beers. I noticed it is a sightseeing tour lunch stop which can be an issue with service. It was not when we was there.

Ironwoods is attached to a golf course. The food is great, the service is very professional and the interior is very cozy with a fireplace and a decent view. Call ahead because sometimes they have events booked there. It is a little expensive, but it's a swanky place so I expected as much.

When I ordered a beer and they ran out and were just unable to fill the cup, the bartender offered to replace it with another beer at no extra charge. Along with that he gave me the cup of my original beer, effectively letting me have 1.9 cups of beer for the price of 1! Amazing hospitality indeed!

Spectacular views. There are two parking lots within the walking distance. We'll be back to Ironwoods again.

This is a neighborhood gem for us. Easy parking, beautiful setting to watch the sunset. Mike the bartender is the best. Solid menu and really good food for good value. I like that they change the menu from time to time, not very often but I like when they add new items. My wife and I refer to this as "our club". We love it.

Ironwood Cafe at the Presidio golf course offers ok food... very edible/solid/predictable, but not anything to write home about. The atmosphere out on the patio on a beautiful sunny day with friends is incredible.

Nice breakfast. Mornings you have to order from the bartender, so have to stand in line.

About a month ago I had breakfast here and did not have anything good to say about the dining experience. However I was invited back by management to give the restaurant another chance since I was assured it was not a typical dining experience that I had. Today I went for lunch. My husband had a really good burger and fries. I had the fish tacos. We both enjoyed our choices and found the food very tasty. Service was pleasant and efficient. I don't typically do restaurant reviews but I am glad I returned and feel that my bad experience a month ago was atypical. Thanks to Abbas Qabazard for reaching out to encourage me to experience a lovely lunch.

We ordered tea, French toast, and Benedict . Total $ was ab $42. I love their crunchy French toast . It was super crunchy and so yummy. Not too sweet either but it's best to share since portion was large. Their grilled potatoes are super good too

This restaurant and full bar is attached to the Presidio Golf Course on Arguello just inside the park gate. We enjoyed salads for lunch served on the outdoor patio. Salad, service and atmosphere were all pleasant.

Had burger & fries that was fine. But front door was locked & there were no signs/ directions how to get to the "cafe with outdoor" seating. No assistance offered, you had to look for it & ask questions to figure out how to order & how you'd get your food. View was beautiful.

It was an early foggy cold windy morning. The cafe was the only safe warm place that provided shelter from the elements. I walked into the cafe & saw that it wasn't set up to receive customers for breakfast. The servers were busy hurrying to make the place presentable before the morning rush of tourists, joggers, hikers & golfers. Inside gave you that lodge feel with a nice big fire place where you could sit near it and warm up. The only person taking orders was the guy at the bar...wow!!! Some people really start drinking early in the morning. Over all its an OK place....nothing here will wow you....but for sure the hike to the beach will...

Liked it before the name changed. We had to order at the reception desk instead of to a waiter. Our favorite sandwiches were not on the menu, had to get our own coffee, my wrap sandwich was not served in a wrap. My friend did like his burger but we are looking for another place to meet in the future. ☹️

I spoke the the manager about it and he promised to refund my money as I had to throw the salad in the garbage. He also said he would speak to the cook. Do you think that I have ever received a refund? ABSOLUTELY NOT! So go for the sunshine but don't order any salad with chicken! Nasty business I assure you!

One the lowest quality foods in the area, my wife and I got sick after we ate here. Very low options despite high prices.
