Fantastic food and huge selection of beers, + ciders/kambucha and wine. Cosy sports bar atmosphere in the heart of Richmond that has easy access and surprising gems in the menu such as shishito peppers, fried brussel sprouts and salmon tacos... above all, Philly chese steak sandwich was definitely worth a second visit which I did in my short visit to SF. Highly recommended!!!!

Great bar with lots of craft beer options, sports playing on TV at all angles, and delicious food. Definitely not your average bar food, much much more than that. They were out of the Cajun shrimp for the spicy shrimp Mac n cheese so they replaced it with my request of chicken and bacon and it was delicious! I'm sure you can order it like that instead of the Cajun shrimp if you like.

I like their parklet a lot. I can sit outside and keep an eye on my locked bicycle. It is always fun to watch people walk by and sometimes I run into old friends. Richmond Republic has a chill vibe and is clean. The bar was mostly empty on Sunday at 11am. They have a big selection of beers on tap. The bartender is friendly and did a good job with my pour.

Great Range of Local Beers from around Norcal. Great eats to accommodate the Beer or none beer palette. Love the Buffalo cob salad. so big and yummy. All the Workers are very friendly and knowledgeable on there beers. Great selection of Sours this week

Nice bar with lots of beer choice. Both on draft as well as in bottle. The menu is convenient for all kind of appetites. Especially if you're a sports fan the bar is great. Staff is friendly and quick

The Chop

Super nice staff. Came in for some grub and the reviews on the burgers were good, but my experience was less than with the food and drink. Got a house burger and it left me with a stomach ache even though I only ate half. Honestly, I was expecting a house made patty, but what I got was what I can only assume was a sysco frozen patty dropped on a flat top. It tasted like it was seasoned with liquid smoke, but had no beef burger flavor and a "steamed" quality to it. The best thing on the plate was the tots. I had it with an old fashioned, but wasn't a very good old fashioned. The staff was really nice which is why I'm up to 4 stars, but they should really reevaluate their food program....its not that hard to make a fresh burger patty. All in all, I don't think I'd be back unless my experience was a fluke or they changed how they do their food. Also wasn't stoked that like 8 TV's were all playing the same blowout game....a little variety never did anyone harm.

What could have been a less-than-pleasant review has turned into a 4/5 stars for me thanks to one of the co-owners jumping in to take care of us. It was 1pm on a Saturday, we came in the server working told me to order at the bar if I wanted to sit outside. He didn't bother to mention that they're only serving the brunch menu and the hard copy menu I grabbed from a table didn't have dates/times specified for service hours. Turns out they're ONLY serving brunch at 1pm... and NONE of the items we wanted (including my starving toddler) were available. I'm super appreciative of the co-owner who followed us outside and offered to check in with the chef about food options. The kitchen made my kiddo mac 'n' cheese and salmon tacos, saving my sanity. This was completely unexpected and changed my perception of the restaurant. I'll be coming back, this time when they're serving the lunch/dinner menu so we can try everything else we wanted. Seating isn't great for kids who aren't tall enough for bar stools. There was one standard height table in the parklet and one inside.

Has a late lunch at about 2pm on Sunday. The mushroom Swiss burger was great and the fries were amazing. One person in our party tried to order poutine and a few other things from the lunch and dinner menu but kept getting denied because they didn't make it at that hour? Please make a clearer, easy to understand menu.

2/22, Sunday at Noon. First time here. Took a friend here for Brunch. Not a fan of ordering off a QR Code, but thankfully my friend is much more savvy w/that. I ordered our drinks @ the bar. A tad pricey and a bit weak, but o.k. Great beer list though, so I would come back for that and lunch. We each had the basic eggs Benedict (others listed on website no longer available) one w/fries and one w/Chimichurra house potatoes. Tots also no longer available. Eggs cooked perfectly, nice Hollandaise sauce, but 1 skimpy slice of ham (akin to lunch meat) on very odd, and so tough bread, which was small, you couldn't cut it with a steak knife, you had to tear it. Fries and house potatoes were good, but Benedict needs some work for $18.00. I wouldn't do brunch again, but I would return for the burger, which looked amazing. No more fries, that a separate side order. Seriously, they need to update their website, as it's quite outdated IMO. Stick w/the burgers.

FYI, This is a QR code place, so you don’t get any direct service and bus your own table. Went here w my bf for a late lunch. Drinks were nice, but food was a bit disappointing esp considering the price. Bf liked his sandwich, but the fried chicken one I got had almost no flavor. They were also slammed w/ what looked like only two guys working so food took a bit to come out and then we had to wait some more additional time after that for the drinks. Nice location to sit outside, people watch, and enjoy the weather though.

Meh. The place is fairly bare bones, the service isn't great, the food is mediocre, the beer might be the only redeeming factor. Ambiance - 2 stars. While I love a good, charming dive bar, this isn't that. This is a single room minimally painted and minimally decorated that doesn't communicate any true character. Service - 3 stars. Not great, not the worst ever. Our server was slow and didn't check in on us, only stopped by to get our order and if we called her back. When she wasn't interacting with customers she was seated in the back drinking a glass of wine and reading, and while I appreciate making the most of down time, a little more attention would have gone a long way. Things were also forgotten... jalapeños on our nachos, bacon on our poutine, etc. Not our server's fault but not great for the service score. Nachos - 2 stars. One of the more boring plates of nachos I've had. A pile of chips topped with cheese sauce, ground beef, black olives, sour cream, and guacamole. I was disappointed that the toppings were only placed on top of the chips, not layered between them, such that only the top chips had anything on them and the rest were plain. I was also disappointed that the ingredients were dumped in a single location instead of spread across the top. All of the olives were on one side, the guac next to it, the sour cream next to that, and the ground meat on the other side. It meant that each chip either had a TON of one ingredient, or nothing on it. I missed some kind of salsa and I wished the cheese was real, gooey, stringy cheese instead of thin, fake cheese sauce. I did appreciate how crunchy the chips were and they held up to the ingredients, at least, those with ingredients did. Overall, not a satisfying plate of nachos. I definitely wouldn't order them again. Poutine - 3 stars. I really liked the fries themselves here, almost more so alone than with the toppings. They had that awesome texture on the outside that I don't know how to describe but that I really enjoy. The fries were pretty amply topped with gravy and cheese curds plus scallion, and unlike the nachos, there seemed to be attention paid to spreading ingredients evenly across all the fries. I expected a darker gravy, this one was much lighter in color, but overall, I found this dish fine. A perfectly solid and acceptable offering. I might order it again, depending on my mood. Wings - 3 stars. As with most wings in SF, the sauce just wasn't right. Far too watery, it puddled on the plate instead of sticking to the wings. The wings were also quite thickly breaded, as if with panko. On the bright side, the portion size was plentiful and the wings themselves were on the larger side with plenty of meat. Additionally, the wings were properly served with both carrots and celery, as well as blue cheese. I probably wouldn't order them again, but they momentarily satisfied my craving. Local tip: beer and wine only here, and based on selection, really only beer.
