A great spot to enjoy a tasty meal. The Galleria offers a quiet and pleasant place to eat. There’s a great selection of main dishes as well as a salad bar. Amazing customer service.
Love their buffet style service! The place is a You-Choose-What-You-Eat and pay by pound restaurant. They have great selection of both vegetarian and meat options. I also saw sushi and spring rolls, which both are my favorite. They also have the options to choose from their bento boxes if you don’t know what to get. Will definitely come back to support!
Found this gem by accident. Food is off the hook good! Quite a variety. Sushi, rice, steak, checken and so much more. Can't go wrong. Self-serve from buffet style tables. Price is by weight. It was not expensive at all. Totally worth is a must do. 👌
Great and quick take-out place. Loved the steak. My friend had the chicken dish, he liked it too. The shrimp with avocado is quite unique in my opinion. If you are planning a quiet dine in, this is not the place to be.
Just discovered this place today in the empty Crocker Galleria. Tasty food, tons of variety, and great value!! Love that there was a pay per pound option that included the sushi! Wish more places had this model. There were also many tasty and healthy vegetarian options. My whole lunch was under $14 including tax, which is great for SF. Really wish I had discovered this restaurant earlier and that they don’t go out of business like everything else. Go support Julie’s Kitchen!
Julie has it all at a very affordable price! Mediterranean, korean, American, Chinese, Japanese and salad by the lb. This place has it all, tucked on the third floor of Crocker galleria. When you are facing the Amazon Go store front, follow the path toward Market street, you’ll see Crocker Galleria. Now, take the escalators to the third floor. I came here at 11:30 am and it wasn’t very crowded. Everything here is $12.45 lbs and the fresh squeezed juice is $3.99. I loaded up on my proteins: two fried wings, 1/4 salmon, tilapia, swordfish, stuffed meat jalapeño, tofu and some seaweed salad. To my surprise, everything tasted super delicious and fresh. All for $12.
Very wholesome place with lots of options. I love it. absolutely a lunch spot worth trying if you work in the area. they even have diet doctor pepper! big plus.
Love how many vegetarian & healthy options they have! Super great value too. They even have keto veg sushi lol. Love the buffet style but also the bento boxes.
I ordered through DoorDash and wanted to try something new so I got Julie’s Kitchen for lunch. The food was delicious, fresh, and big portions! I’ll def be ordering from here more now 🤩
My favorite place. Everything I've tried so far was amazing and I'd like to try other dishes next time. Good portion of vegetables, always fresh and delicious.
I like their teriyaki chicken bento and that's usually my go-to. Recently, I got the fried chicken bento and it seems they changed their recipe...Better batter, tasted great! Also the shrimp rolls are always good. Portions are always generous and it's one of the better value: price places in that area. Friendly and quick service as well.
Positively surprised by the food, portion sizes, and soul I found in this place! Perfect for a quick and satisfying lunch!
As of March 2022 no buffet option available but that’s okay because prices are very affordable and the portions are very good. I ordered the bulgogi plate and found it to be very tasty. Service was fast too didn’t wait too long from ordering to getting the food.

Lunch at Julie's has become a ritual now. I am there at least 1-2 times per week. What a great selection of food that you can have fairly quickly. Got addicted to the Japache noodles from here. I think about them in weekend and then Monday afternoon here I am with a plate full of them.
Wonderful restaurant with many delicious options buffet style (shrimp salad and fried pork are especially good). Sadly it has been hounded by building management (which has unsuccessfully sued them multiple times to try to break the lease and redevelop the arcade) so it is great to support them.
There are fewer choices for lunch in the Market and Montgomery Street area. But, if you like buffet style lunches weighed by the pound, check out Julie's. It is at the top of the Galleria shopping center. There is a lot to choose from, including Greek salad, silver noodles, different kinds of chicken and more. You can mix up whatever you want. They also have set meals, mostly focusing on Asian cuisine. It's pleasant to sit at one of the tables at the top of the mall with natural light coming in from above. You can also take your meal out to the rooftop garden on nice days.

I hadn’t been to Crocker Galleria in a very long time. I wandered upstairs and spotted Julie's Kitchen and I am so glad I did. I was able to get a high protein lunch with healthy vegetables for about $15. So good. I will be back.

It is like finding an oasis in the desert. 90% of the shops in Crocker Galleria are closed. Julie's Kitchen is a familiar brand. I remember eating at their Fremont St. location, in the alley, back in the early 2000's. The selection has diminished. There's no more tri-tip steak or salmon. Now it is tilapia. I would have preferred at least salty grilled mackerel instead. $11 a pound is cool for the selection. Nothing stood out as great. I wanted some tempura but they only had deep fried sushi. At least they had fried chicken. That was OK. Service is pay by the pound. On the bright side, there are plenty of seats now, not like before the pandemic.

Whether you choose self selected buffet or made to order bento boxes, Julie delivers on large volume, variety and value
This is a steam table style restaurant with a wide variety of options, from Mediterranean salad to Korean fried chicken wings. It’s a nice spot to go when you’re not craving anything specific and just want a little bit of this and that. Before the pandemic, there were a few places like this in the FiDi, but most have closed down. I think this might be the last one still standing in the area. They charge by pound, so be very careful not to eat with your eyes. At $10.95 per pound, I was able to get a decent amount of food. To be honest, I had stopped coming here for a while because I find the cashier, who I believe is also the owner, to be less than welcoming, and very stingy (she asked me to put my wasabi and soy sauce packet on top of my box so i can get them weighted in). But now that I use Yelp as my food journal, I decided to give it another try and document my experience. The food overall is decent. The Korean fried chicken wings are super fresh, nicely crisped, and well seasoned. The japchae (Korean glass noodles) is flavorful and satisfying. The Mediterranean salad is refreshing and light. The sushi, while not outstanding, is decent for this kind of spot. The only real miss for me was the seaweed salad, which tasted like it came straight from a box. Here’s how I’d rate what I tried: Mediterranean salad: 4 out of 5 Japchae: 5 out of 5 Fried chicken wings: 5 out of 5 Seaweed salad: 1 out of 5 California roll: 4 out of 5 Service: 1 out of 5 In conclusion, I recommend to come for the variety and convenience (and the chicken wings), but do not expect a warm welcome.
Really nice food. Good quality. The place is clean and well organized. The staffs are nice and welcoming. It's a bit more expensive than I expected. Had one plate filled up costs around 19. Teriyaki salmon is not quite as in the picture. Was supposed to get some tuna poke but instead got avocado shrimp
