Food was great! Took white a while but there was quite a few of us; very comfy and warm almost feels homelike. Great selection of music to eat and digest the food to. Would definitely come back
Great location! Food was alright. I went there for a quick bite and ordered the Huevos Rancheros. They have their own spin on it which is usually not my preference, but it was still good.
Great food! Having gone to Mexico myself the food was authentic with their own twist.
Nice Mexican food spot not far from Golden Gate Park and Haight-Ashbury. We had some nachos with beef and tacos. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. I also recommend the Mexican Horchata, super refreshing. Great place for a quick lunch.
Another incredible restaurant in San Francisco. The Mole here is one of the best we've ever had, full stop. The portions are immense, and I can say that this is full on "home cookin'". I also want to point out how patient and gracious the staff was with our questions, and our broken spanish. Breakfast here is really a treat!
Super cute and low key restaurant with some of the best chicken mole chilaquiles you’ll ever have. Incredibly friendly and very fast service. What a great place to come for brunch or lunch after a walk or other activity in Golden Gate Park, just a short walk away. Grab a seat outside after ordering inside. Pace yourself while eating since the food is so delicious. Tab came to about 20$ including tip.
Amazing tacos. Fantastic sandwiches. Insanely good mocha! I will be back!
Great breakfast tacos. Super full and healthy portions of everything. Bloody Mary beer was crisp. Nice seating and outdoor patio as well. Relaxing spot for breakfast 5/5
As a native Mexican, these are the best chilaquiles I've had in San Francisco. A little spicy but great. I really liked que Horchata latte also.
We had an awesome brunch at Manitas today. I had the Don Juan chorizo hash plate and it was bomb. Great flavor to the potatos, really nice soft eggs yolks, and a pretty big portion. I paired it with an horchata latte which was really good. Nice and hot, perfect for an overcast morning. My fiancé had the breakfast sandwich and a hot chocolate. I definitely wanna come back to try their hella spicy chilaquiles. Super nice staff. They moved a heat lamp closer to us without us even having to ask- big thank you! Cant wait to work my way through the menu. Edit: I came back for the chilaquiles!!! So good but they’re not wrong when they say hella spicy. I’m big on spicy. Grew up Asian and Latina so we eat a lot of spicy at home, but !!!!! Definitely come get this dish, but be ready! I also got their Mexican mocha this time around and it’s hands down the best version of this drink I’ve had.
We just got back from México and (again) in the mood for a good desayuno. Honestly we weren’t expecting the food to be that authentic and good as in CDMX but this place absolutely rocks it. The flavors were on point and the Orchata Latte super delicious. I totally recommend this place to everyone, searching for authentic mexican food in a beautiful atmosphere
So glad I found this spot ❤️. My friend and I were there on a Sunday around 10am. Although the place is small there were plenty of spots to sit down and the service was quick. Parking was also easy to find in the same block. For breakfast We had the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. They were both pretty good. Drip coffee is ok, the latte was better. I will definitely come back to try the pozole, arepas and pupusas. This place is dog friendly 🐶
Loved brunch here. Casual counter service with no line. Feels authentic and family owned: spanglish menu with spicy salsa and Papusa plates. I got the breakfasts burrito and loved it! I also really liked the unique coffee mugs they served in. Nice covered outdoor seating and indoor seating available.
Excellent food. Full of flavor. Hole in the wall vibe. We got the chilaquiles and huevos rancheros. Would recommend

Great place! The food arrived hot and quickly, and was worth much more than I paid. I'd definitely recommend Manitas Cafe if you love authentic, delicious, and savory El Salvadoran cuisine!

Great little cafe! The Cubano sandwich was one of the best cubanos I've ever had. It was pleasantly spicy. Service was friendly, and the sidewalk tables are nice.
Came here after a yoga class and enjoyed how quick the service was here! Good: - Solid breakfast burrito - the portion sizes were great here and I feel like I got a great meal for great value too - Felt like everything was made fresh - Horchata here was super tasty and refreshing too Bad: - Not the cleanest place, it felt like it was a little janky but also very local and authentic - The seats weren't super comfortable here either Overall this place was a nice find post-workout, but not sure if I'd come again.
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Overall: A good place for a quick bite. Would I come back: If I'm in the area yep! The extended review: Food: California Bear-rito - 4/5 - OK...so not your typical burrito considering there are fries in it. For me it was perfect. Meat, fries, and guac...it's the perfect combination. Service: 4/5 - Friendly service. Ambiance: 4/5 - Some indoor seating and outdoor seating and some very colorful art hanging throughout.

Food was decent, edible, great presentation, but not a mindblower. The place itself is nice and relaxing. Good variety of food, I will give it another try. Aa
This was a very forgettable Low quality, small breakfast burrito for $18. Took over 20 min to receive w only 2 other tables after me. Lots of online orders, I suppose. It's a salvadorian place that makes Mexican food, so the flavors are not bold. Perhaps attractive to europeans canadians and central u s people. So, if you're Mexican or Southwestern searching for rich flavors, you will be highly disappointed. Emitas and TLC close by for better quality, flavor and price.
Tried the breakfast burrito; it was not bad. Not spicy at all & a bit more $ than other nearby places, which seems odd considering the side street it is on which I would think would have a low rent for the space. It had good breakfast meats and it is nice that they have a breakfast burrito with potatoes instead of rice. I feel like it would have been better with more egg. I am someone who likes egg as a primary breakfast protein with meat as the side. If I go back, I will try asking for it to be made a little spicy.
