Chef Wilson and Alex were extremely friendly and the food is super good, so fresh and just melts in your mouth! Our new fave place to eat sushi!

They served some of the best tasting sushi nigiri and rolls that I have had in a very long time. We had a really great meal in all the return many times.

Strikes the right balance for a neighborhood hide out - reasonable prices, generous portions of serviceable nigori, and a welcoming staff. We'll be back for a few sapporo's and $1 oysters for happy hour.

The guys working there were so nice. The food is really good, I tried the Spicy Miso Ramen and wakame salad and I totally recommend that! I’ll go back for sure!

Chef Andrew consistently prepares superlative dishes! Decor and atmosphere are fun. I come here about twice per month. Great little neighborhood.

Great place to have in the neighborhood, with a wide variety of options on the menu. Sushi/sashimi, udon and ramen, and cooked dishes like teriyaki chicken. Something for everyone.

Highly recommend the agedashi tofu and tekka mugen roll. Cozy atmosphere with fresh, high quality ingredients.

They have a few vegan options or can make some dishes vegan. Their menu is always changing and they have daily specials. They serve delicious specially prepared tea. Street parking available, some metered spots, but free after 6pm.

The quality of ingredients they use here is on par with the some of the so called “highest rated” sushi we’ve had in SF. It’s not the absolute cheapest sushi you can find here, but for the quality of what you get to the price-point. Tekka House can’t be beat. Just take a look at these two separate 12pc Sashimi plates I got over the past few months. Very high quality, and amazingly excellent selection such as Chu-toro and O-toro (absolutely melt in your mouth delicious). Most the time when we try a new sushi restaurant now, my wife and I just end up craving Tekka House.

This restaurant is small and popular, and had a really great selection of well-marked vegan and vegetarian rolls. The Miso soup can be vegetarian for an extra $1. Has Japanese beers on tap (Sapporo and Asahi). Service is a little slow, but unobtrusive and there were no issues with our order. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a nice night out.

Excellent food! I got the garden salad with the sesame ginger dressing, the most delicious thing ever. Also got the garlic butter edamame, also amazing. As a vegetarian, I was very satisfied here! Our server was very attentive and friendly, and we loved the indoor decorations and ambiance. Will definitely be back!

Food comes out fast, everything I’ve tried has exceed expectations, and the atmosphere is clean and modern.

The ramen here is incredible. Some of the best I've had in San Francisco. Rich and layered broth, earthy and complex. The agedashi eggplant was delish. My 6 year old daughter enjoyed it and put some of the savory broth over her rice. Located on a charming street in Glen Park. They also have high chairs which is a major plus as a mother. They were so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be coming back.

The broth was full of umami, the egg was perfectly soft boiled and the noodles were bouncy and well-cooked, a very pleasant meal. They also packed my noodles and broth separately so it wouldn’t overcook, much appreciated. Would love to come back some time!

The server explained the chefs follow a more specialized slow-preparation method for sushi and we definitely tasted the difference.

Tekka House is one of my favorite sushi spots in SF. It's unassuming and fantastic. The staff are always so sweet, and their quality is top notch every time. Support small business and stop in anytime you're near Glen Park!

The service was good and the food was surprisingly delicious given the mediocre reviews we saw. Went here around 7:30 on a Friday night and got a table for 2 easily. Loved that this is our neighborhood sushi/ramen joint!

The happy hour food is great. The spicy miso garlic ramen broth is too thick for my taste.

It was just unnecessarily expensive… $17 for a regular salmon and avocado roll I can get it at whole food for like $11. And it’s not like it’s any special…. I know restaurants are so hard to operate with low margins… but still…

This place needs passion. Good Ramen needs a tasty broth. I hope that they work on their broth to make the Ramen delicious.

On the lower quality side of Sashimi. Ikura and unit not really worth having, could taste the freezer on them. Polite staff, ok fried food.

The sushi was fairly average: good but expensive. The service wasn’t great though. They wouldn’t approach your table unless you summoned them through a web app, even e.g. to refill your water. Even though there were hardly any other customers.

Overpriced and mediocre quality. A small miso soup goes for roughly five bucks. Also when I visited they had a turtle caged in a tiny container(!) on display which was upsetting

Terrible cold island ribs No wasabi or Ginger I asked that they take out Dpicy Tuna and replace with Snow Crab meat, they didnt. Cashier wss the best, but it effected her tip THIS WAS NOT WORTH $31.00

I'm sure their food is good but when the waitress offered to refill my water glass but declined to take our order, we saw two parties who had come in after us be served their food, and we'd been sitting there for half an hour and *still* no one came to take our order, we left with our seven year old in tears.

Is this place really worth the price? $16 for a salad? $15+ for 2 pieces of Nigiri? No vegetarian options? I wont even try it.

Decent but not Tataki South that was excellent. They claim to serve only sustainable seafood but the first thing on the menu was Bluefin tuna! I was lied to when I called.
