Stopped in today to try the lobster roll and fries, and they were absolutely delicious! The lobster was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the fries were crispy and golden. However, I was a bit taken aback by the price almost $40 for just those two items seems pretty steep, even for San Francisco. If you're up for a tasty splurge, it's worth it, but just be ready for the bill!

Woodhouse used to have a location on Market/Church St. That was my favorite location. This one is a bit more spacious. The restaurant was full on a Monday evening. The louie salad with bay shrimp $22 was my starter. The shrimps were bigger than anticipated. This was OK. Maybe I should have gotten the ceviche instead. My main was the fish & chips $26. This was pretty good. It had a unique breading. Service was excellent.

I saw the $16 lobster roll deal and had to come check it out. Was it worth the hype? Definitely yes! We got lucky — there wasn’t a line when we arrived, but the space inside was still pretty crowded. We ordered the special Tuna and Scallop Crudo, the lobster roll, and the crab cake. The Crudo was really nice — it was actually my first time trying it, and I already loved it! I especially loved their crab cake. It came with a refreshing salad, and the whole plate felt super light and not heavy at all. And seriously, you can’t beat a $16 lobster roll deal! You can tell they actually use whole lobster meat — so fresh and buttery! The store also offers $1.25 oysters every Tuesday, so you can grab both deals at the same time! The lobster roll promotion ends in two days — hurry and get it while you can!

Absolutely amazing seafood! Fairly priced and we took advantage of the $2 dollar oyster tuesdays which were very fresh and tasty! Would definitely recommend eating here if you’re in the area!

This will be a bit of a long review, however it maybe worth it. We came to the front door around 6pm where you write your name down and number of guests. The wait was around 30 minutes or so. I think since it is 16 lobster rolls for their 16th anniversary. Regarding the food the 16 dollar lobster rolls were AMAZING the freshest most flavorful lobster rolled ai ever hard. As a sea food foodie I did really appreciate the food and the price. On to their tar sauce, you can put it in rocks and your soul would appreciate it. We also ordered firs and fired calamari which words can describe. Sad to say I forgot to take photos of the rolls just because they looked to good to eat. I got phots of other things here

Great seafood restaurant with a great selection of food. I had the calamari with was served ring style and with small squid. The sauces were a mayo based sauce and cocktail sauce. We also hade the wedge salad which one of the best I have ever had. My main meal was a lobster roll served hot with butter. Everything was very good, service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was super cute!

I came here last night for date night dinner and it was so good. My husband has been on this fish and chips thing lately and this is favorite by far. *The fish was tender and the outside was crisp and light. French fries were nice and hot. The tartar sauce and was also light and not too heavy on the mayo. * clam chowder the bowl size is perfect for sharing. Nice clumps of potatoes and seafood *lobster roll the bread had a nice sweetness and butter. Crispy and light. The lobster was fresh and sweet. Good portion as well when it came to the lobster. The seating is comfortable for small groups and the wait staff is very friendly. I can’t wait to have another date night!

We’ve been going here for years. One of our favorite seafood spots. The Dungeness crab roll has alway been my go-to and never disappoints. Their clam chowder is one of my favorites as well. We tried the salmon tacos for the first time and they were fantastic. Also, best fries ever!

Lobster Rolls are delicious, and the Squid Ink Spaghetti is also awesome, which is not too salt and cheesy. The waiting time is about 10-15 minutes, but sometimes you will spend more time to find a parking slot because it’s limited for street parking.

Visited Woodhouse Fish twice in April for their 16-year anniversary $16 lobster roll promo. While it sounded like a great deal, the rolls were noticeably smaller than what my friends and I had seen online—definitely left us wanting a bit more. The lines were also insanely long, though it’s unclear if that was just due to the anniversary special or if it’s always like that. Did a takeout order and got a mediocre $33 lobster roll. Maybe I just didnt like the hot butter option but would not order again 🤷

I don’t get the hype. The steamed muscles and clams were too chewy. The garlic bread was bad too. The crab cakes were ok but I wouldn’t order them again. The char had an odd taste to it. Ceviche was made way ahead of time and tasted like it. The best parts were the side salad from the crab cakes and the tortilla chips were fresh.

I truly do not know how this place has as good of reviews as it does. The only redeeming quality is the friendly service. The space is dirty, we sat by the window and there was food crumbs and scraps lodged into the window sill and booth cracks. The food was utterly and completely BLAND! The lobster is definitely FROZEN and not fresh, completely rubbery and dry. It was unsalvageable, no amount of salt or sauce could save it. For the price it was absolutely a scam. It feels like a tourist trap which is odd given its location. If you have taste buds, skip it please.
