7 Leaves Cafe is known for its consistently great drinks and friendly service. Popular choices include Vietnamese coffee, Assam milk tea, and Thai tea. Some find the drinks too sweet, but sweetness can often be adjusted. A great spot to hang out with friends or work.

7 Leaves transplant from LA. I ordered the taro milk tea easy sweetness, which was quite good and not overly sweet. One of the few milk tea joints that serves taro milk tea not from the powder. Lots of natural light since the location is on the corner unit, free WiFi and spacious seating for those that wants to get some work done, or shop online.
7 leaves is a solid spot for coffee / tea. I usually go for the house coffee, jasmine milk tea with grass jelly, or sunset passion juice. Their menu isn't that extensive, but perhaps it's be design since the quality is pretty good. They also have macarons and other pastries if you're looking for a bite. It's also a great place to hang out or get work done as they have a fair amount of seating and free wifi indoors. I frequent this spot especially because it's open late as well.
If you like sweet milk tea with tasty boba, this is your place. The tea flavor isn’t strong, but it makes for a good creamy dessert. The honey boba has a lot flavor and was cooked just how I like it (not too soft and a little hard). Got mung bean milk tea and taro. The taro isn’t caffeine free (I wish they had a caffeine free milk tea option). However, quality milk tea and boba. Be ready to wait in a long line because this place seems to always be crowded. Prices are not too bad as well. $4 for a reg milk tea, boba is .50 cents extra
The best bubbles tea in the San Jose location. For the look of the store was cleanness and very nice cool atmosphere. The staff are very friendlines. I have a great time enjoying tasting the bubbles tea! Highly recommended. Will definitely be going back and try different bubbles tea on the menu.
I personally really like 7leaves and would visit again if I could. I don't get why people say 7leaves is overrated when it really isn't. There are great drinks and it's actually affordable unlike other places. Drinks have a base price of 3 dollars and additional toppings are only 55 cents. What makes this store unique is that they have pictures of all their drinks on the wall. As customers walk through the wall, we could decide what drinks we what based on the look instead of reading through all the drink descriptions if we're new. I personally found this really helpful on my first trip to 7leaves because I wasn't completely familiar with their menu and this made buying drinks a breeze. Even if there's a huge wait line during the weekends, it's worth the wait. The lines generally move quickly, but always try to go during weekdays to get your delicious drink without a line.
7Leaves from SoCal is finally here in the Bay Area! Try their Mung Bean Milk Tea, EZ ice and EZ sweet (less ice, less sweet) for maximum enjoyment, because they do overload your cups with ice. Their house coffee is also pretty darn delicious. Beware of the long lines though -- go during peak hours and you might be waiting upwards of 40 minutes to be able to order, as the line wraps around the building. It can get a little crowded inside, so it might be best to take your drink to go.
The menu is simple but tastes great so far. This cafe mostly stands out for being a great place to work on a laptop with for hours at a time. The wifi never disappoints!
I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place before but this is a solid milk tea spot for any crowd. They have a strong menu of boba milk teas to choose from that is delicious. That aside, it can get packed at times as it is quite popular; however, there's a lot of seating which is nice for a meet up spot to catch up or chill for a bit.
Consistent yummy and solid Assam Black Tea. My husband always gets the House Coffee Milk Tea. We have been going for over 3+ years since it opened. A staple to the community.
I love coming here to work and their bubble teas are very tasty, however - please make the drinks less sweet or allow adjusting the sweetness!!!!!! Only a few of their drinks allow to reduce the sweetness level, which is too bad because a lot of the flavors are so tasty. They end up being quite unhealthy and I’m sure many people would prefer less sugar.
A pretty good 7 Leaves location even given the area. Plenty of sitting room and quick service. This neighborhood is short on options for cafes, so it's a welcome addition to the area.
Very great customer service. Bit standee in Berryessa station waiting for a car ride 30 min away. I called ahead to see if they were ok with me waiting with my dog and they said they were! Very thankful to be able to wait were it was nice and warm and accommodating. Got myself a honey latte and my partner a strawberry hibiscus tea.
7 Leaves Cafe on Berryessa Rd is more than just a go-to for boba—it’s a familiar stop woven into community routines. The Matcha Soy, Mung Bean Milk Tea, and House Coffee are consistently smooth and flavorful, with customizable sweetness and ice levels that make each visit feel personal. The Strawberry Hibiscus adds a refreshing, fruity twist, perfect for warmer days or post-event cooldowns. For volunteers coordinating the NCAVAD Annual Dental Charity Event, this spot becomes a quiet reward after hours of setup, parking logistics, and guiding families through services. Ordering drinks here has become a small tradition—fueling the team while keeping things light and energized. The space is clean, the service is quick, and the vibe is relaxed enough to reset before the next round of tasks.
Came here from a family recommendation and this place did not disappoint! Such a cute, quaint place to gather with friends and family, and just catch up on life. Ventured with the Assam milk tea with sea foam and it was fantastic! They instantly had me with this drink - a must try and will come back for this again and again. Love the decor and ambiance - even the older generation loved it!
I usually get the Sea Cream foam coffee but decided to get Taro! Always delicious and just perfect every time I ordered from here. No wonder this place is always packed whenever I go in! Also, this was a large split into 2 cups, I appreciate that they do that cause sometimes I can't finish a regular size.
Went to this cafe for a evening coffee and macaroons. Vietnamese coffee was good (too sweet for my taste), though they asked if they need to adjust sugar. Macaroons were perfect. I had rose water and pistachio, both were nicely done. Would come again.
7Leaves has always been consistent in friendly service and great drinks. My favs are house coffee, Assam milk tea, and Thai tea. Don’t forget to grab some macaroons. They are nice and fluffy and not overly sweet!
I tried their Vietnamese coffee and loved it. It has a slight bitter taste which enhances the coffee taste. I usually ask for half sugar but their own measurement of sugar for a hot regular coffee seemed fine to me. I tried their macaroons too. But they were slightly chewy and felt okay. If you are looking for a place to sit and work, this coffee place is perfect. They have boba teas as well.
Really great drinks so far! Really enjoyed the two drinks I've tried so far: green Thai tea and the summer mint with aloe. The green Thai tea was really aromatic and the cream/milk they used was so good! I got less sweet and the drink was still sweeter than I'd normally like but I still enjoyed it. The summer mint was super refreshing and had strong flavor, not watered down at all. Plus, highly recommend getting with aloe!

Had a good experience at this seven leaves, I asked for a recommendation since it was my first time and the cashier went above and beyond to help me find the right drink! I tried the house coffee and I didn’t enjoy it and asked if i can switch the drink and Erick was nice enough to let me switch my drink! amazing customer service he has:)
Consistent and affordable milk tea spot in the Berryessa area. Drinks are on the sweeter side so definitely lower the sweetness level. Their mobile app comes with many perks and surprise bonus deals like happy hours or BOGOs which I have taken advantage of many times. They also have a set of secret drinks on their app too! Also a decent place to study because of the atmosphere – wooden tables and chairs and plenty of space to work. I always get their Thai Tea with honey boba and it has never failed me. Their Thai tea is sweet but still has the signature Thai spice taste. Their boba is always cooked to perfection – not too firm but with great chewiness and slightly al dente. Paired with sea salt cream, you can taste slight notes of salt every few sips along with additional creaminess. Their oolong milk tea at 50% sweetness is also great – it’s sweet with the earthiness of oolong. On a day where I need caffeine, I always get the black and tan (50% sweetness) which is a combination of their house coffee infused with jasmine tea. You can definitely taste the caffeine from their house coffee but also the floral notes from the jasmine tea. Their House coffee is slightly misleading in my opinion - it’s super sweet and only has a touch of caffeine flavor that is subtle. The caffeine doesn’t affect me like other coffee places do. Their assam black milk tea is their generic black milk tea drink. Milk and sugar, nothing beyond that. What makes them different from other milk tea shops is their Mung bean milk tea. It has the slight earthiness and nuttiness of mung beans with granules and flakes of mung beans in the drink. At less sweetness level this drink with boba is enjoyable but definitely an acquired taste.

It felt a bit nostalgic to return to 7 Leaves after going there during my last year of college in LA about six or so years ago. I distinctly remember how novel of a concept "sea cream" was and buying into it 100%. How could I not when it tasted good! This SJ location delivers on that same taste so it was nice walk down memory lane. I knocked down a star because the line was ridiculous and it stayed ridiculous (I hung around talking with a friend for 2 hours and then working for 30 minutes). My advice to you: avoid going here on the weekend unless you have a great buddy to pass the time with! Oh, I do have to say that the cashier was sweet and the drinks, at least for me, came out quicker than expected. So maybe this is more like 4.5, but the 0.5 is awarded because of sentimentality rather than quality.
The Drink 7 Leaves Cafe is a well known tea cafe in SoCal, and they finally opened their first NorCal location. I ordered their Mung Bean Milk Tea while my friend ordered their Sea Cream Jasmine Tea. I've gotten their Sea Cream Jasmine Tea before so wanted to try something new. I quite like the Mung Bean Milk Tea, even though you can't adjust the sweetness, it was still good. My friend thought the Sea Cream Jasmine Tea was too sweet during their soft opening. But when he returned after grand opening, the sweetness got reduced and was like SoCal. The Miscellaneous The cafe is decent sized with good amount of seating...but the lines. The plaza also provides parking, though it gets packed quite fast during peak hours. The service is pretty quick, and the staff is quite sincere. Their menu is simple and straightforward with tea and coffee, but there is still a good selection. Pricing has a slight increase from SoCal, but average for Bay Area I guess. It is worth checking this cafe out...but go off hour or wait for the line.
It’s good and quality tea/coffee, but well overhyped. You might wait over 2 hours Iine...seriously. Edit, as of late April, the hype has sort of died down. I find the drinks there a little too sweet (that’s by default) and there really is no option for no/less sugar for most drinks. The service is quite good and fast once you order. Kudos to that. They have plenty of these in SoCal, FYI.
Loving these 7 Leaves Cafe!!! They got various Locations in the Bay Area. Great Authentic Refreshments Drinks, pastries, Macaroons, Ice creams, and Desserts. Great for this warm summer California Weathers!!!!! Spacious Indoor seatings area. Plenty of people stop by to Chills, Relax, and hangout on their Laptops. Nice place for any Gatherings. Many other shops in this plaza. Hello Spring Sunshines!!!!🌸🙃🌞2025
What's not to love about 7 Leaves? They are for sure one of my top boba spots that came up from SoCal and I'm glad to finally check out their first Norcal location after all this time. Their tea selection is limited and uses real tea leaves to brew their drinks, making me a huge fan. I always get their Oolong Milk Tea (with soy milk - appreciate the non-dairy option) at 50% sugar and it always smashes. Their drinks combined with chewy, soft boba makes them always a perfect treat for me whenever I'm in the Bay. The shop is spacious and looked like a popular spot for students to hang out or do some work. Plenty of tables and chairs for all sorta of lounging around. Plenty of plaza parking available as well.
Guess my old stamp cards are worthless now. Highly recommend downloading the app so you can collect your leaves there instead. Still the best mung bean milk tea. Get the hulk if you're craving more caffeine - it's their mung bean milk tea + house coffee drink. The bathroom toilet paper holder was left open/exposed. Not the end of the world but may put some folks off I guess.
Came here on Superbowl Sunday before the game. This shopping center is normally very busy but I got lucky with front parking. The store wasn't too busy. Staff was very friendly and answered all our questions. Before we knew it our order was ready. I got the sunset passion and added white pearls. It wasn't too sweet and the passion fruit seeds added a lil crunch. My daughter got the jasmine milk tea and the earl grey macaron and enjoyed them. We tried the green tea but you couldn't really taste the green tea. I got the strawberry for my other daughter so I didn't taste it. Overall a good experience. I will be back.
Nice cafe and ambience. The house coffee that we tried was nice. It has a bit of salty flavor. They did not have many options for hot coffee. The place is clean and hygienic. Staff was nice. Good service
I came here for the time first time yesterday though 7 Leaves has been on my list for a while. I got the iced mint coffee, iced house coffee and iced jasmine milk tea. I tried the mint and house coffees - both pretty smooth and delicious! It's a big, open shop so it's easy to spread out because there were quite a few people ordering and picking up. Minus a star for the woman who rang me up - she was unnecessarily short when taking my order.

We only ordered two cold coffees, so this review is limited to that. Unfortunately, we didn’t care for them—the flavors were extremely strong and overwhelmingly sweet, with a very artificial, almost chemical aftertaste. Service was quick and customer service was fine, but based on taste alone, it just wasn’t for us. Taste preferences vary, but this one didn’t hit the mark.
Nice place with lots of seats and a variety of options for drinks. Feels much better than a Starbucks. Ingredients for the drinks taste much better and some places we have been to.

I always get the mung bean milk tea with custard pudding. They usually put a lot of ice even after asking for less ice. I feel like the only add on they skimp on is the custard pudding. It used to be a decent amount but now I can barely tell it's in my drink. Kinda sucks because it's 80 cents extra to get, but their mung bean milk tea is really good. Decent amount of seating to study or do your work. They also have a couple restrooms available.
It was many people when I got in here. Never tried 7 Leaves before but heard of it. The inside looks really nice and too many seats are already taken. I simply order Vietnamese coffee and it’s quite too sweet. Perhaps I should ask for less sweetness next time. The service is slow however. Too many people probably including those who came after me got their drinks already before I get mines. Don’t understand why though but maybe it’s because of all of the mobile orders. Some orders include more than one item and all I ordered is a regular-sized Vietnamese coffee. I have to ask the staff where my drink and probably forgot my order. Thankfully, they are able to fulfill it after I asked. Overall, the experience is ok but needs to be improved especially on service. The atmosphere is nicely designed, but a little bit of sweetness of the drink and speed of the service are definitely needed to be worked on.

Alright, this review is for how an incident was handled. The product, food and ambiance itself is good along with service. However, I was sitting next to a gentleman who was blasting a game on his computer with no headphones, while that was frustrating he then decided to CUT HIS NAILS on the floor. They swung everywhere around his table. I was HIGHLY disturbed. I told staff and they said they would attend to it after which felt like it was slightly brushed off. I know this is a tricky situation but for hygienic reasons it should have been addressed with the customer. There is not many if any open tables which means if I want to enjoy my drink and time I must sit next to him without it being addressed. Unfortunately his nails continue to remain on the floor and it feels unsanitary to return.
Another overrated boba shop that surely fades out just like everything else. Wife bought their coffee "special" for me and I don't see the hoopla about it. It is 40% coffee, 60% foam, and that's not by request. That's just how cheap they are with the coffee. There's always a long line because of the hype train. but if you go there at 7am there's no line at all.
I came to this location on May 15 at 10:21am and the cashier was so rude and had such an attitude just taking my partner and I drink. The short lady with the blond highlights was chatting it up with her co worker and we thought nothing of it but when it was time to take our order she gave us a scowl as her first interaction with us. This is my first and last time coming to this location.
Today I was in this store around 12:30 the date is January 5 /2025. and the cashier who was there. served us with two drinks and some cookies. when we decided to pay with a 50 bill. he made a defamation against me saying that I was carrying counterfeit money. and without any proof. leave the date and time. you have cameras there. you can see it. I have already reported this defamation and also to the bank. since I decided to visit a store called staple. and test if it was a counterfeit bill. and the store manager told me it was real. I leave this comment. so you can see the kind of people they have working there. in which they embarrassed me in front of many people. I have proof that the bill is real. I filed a complaint with the bank. The worker was a young man. I hope the manager does something about it.
