This small restaurant was found by accident, and this was quite a find for us. The burrito was excellent and full of flavor. The meat was tender. The salsa was perfect, and the flavourful taste keeps you wanting more. It's a definite place to stop at.

I appreciate good cooking and let me tell y'all best ive had in a long time the love of cooking Mexican food is definitely there so y'all check them out for my first time it was very impressive. I appreciate restaurant like these that take good care of you from not having the time to eat at home but knowing you can come over to Tacos El Rancherito to hv a great grub. thanks very satisfied!!!!

This place is amazing. The food was delicious and there patio/outdoor seating area was perfect. The horchata was super refreshing, which was much needed in the heat. I had the chille relleno burrito and it was great! They don't batter the chilles to much which makes them super crispy and they also take the time to blister them like they should(it enhances the flavor)

Kind of authentic Mexican food. Well, I don't know what is real authentic - but kind of figured it out by testing food that was not too spicy, not hot, not sour, not tasteless. It was all seemed to be of perfect balance. And, was VERY different from us chain restaurants (like Rubio's, Chipotle, Baja Fresh etc.).

It has been a while since I had been here so it was really nice seeing all the new changes to the restaurant. The staff was all really nice and the food was delicious. I’d highly recommend trying them out.

Super Burrito de Cabeza, it was delicious but had that taco truck taste to it. First time there so I'll be back to try other items on the menu. Upon my arrival there around 10:45am, no one was there, but then again, Hispanics wake up early on Sundays and not Saturdays ;) . My super burrito did not come with guacamole so I asked for aguacate which was extra as expected.

I go here simply for the tacos. Tacos are $1.35. They are street vendor style. It's got double tortilla lightly fried, meat, salsa, onion cilantro. The tacos are garnished with pickled carrots. To be honest I have not tried other menu items. This place is good for quick cheap food. They do sell beers, michelada, and serve dinner platters. Closed on Tuesdays

This place has the most expensive tacos in San Jose and probably California. $5 per taco!!!. The tacos are really good. But unusually pricey.

Went in today with our family and the food is not the same anymore, the pickled carrots had no flavor at all and felt old.Thefood tasted like it was cooked in old oil, my husband and I have been feeling so sick since we got home! prices went up and the quality definitely is not there anymore!

DO NOT GET ENCHILADAS. Worst enchiladas michoacanas I have ever had. My tortillas were wrapped with basically nothing inside but onion. The chicken they gave me on the side was so fried I couldn't even bite it and on top of that it was like all bone, not a lot of meat. Came to this restaurant bc of the ratings but it was a bad idea. The food is really not very good. My family was unhappy with the price and quality of food.
