The wait is over, and let me tell you!! Eggholic Bay Area did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch and the energy matched the hype. We ordered surti ghotalo and paneer ghotalo, amdavadi sandwich, Hum-Tum, toofani curry and thier flagship mango lassi!! My wife doesn’t eat eggs so she got panner instead and it was just as delicious. Whether you’re a fan of Indian street food or just curious, Eggholic is a must-visit. This place didn’t just live up to expectations, it exceeded them.
I’ve been a fan of this place for years—first discovered them in Schaumburg, then again in Chicago, and now they’ve opened right here in California! Safe to say, this spot has become my go-to comfort stop across the states. No matter where I am, if there’s a location nearby, I have to go. The quality, flavors, and consistency never disappoint. The California branch is just as amazing—same great taste, friendly service, and clean, welcoming vibe. So glad they’re expanding! Looking forward to seeing even more locations soon.
Eggholic stands out as a versatile destination where vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike can indulge in a diverse menu bursting with flavor. Don’t miss their veggie chaats and entrees—they’re truly outstanding. With its unique blend of variety, taste, and hospitality, Eggholic is set to become a favorite spot for food lovers across town. Vegetarians will be pleasantly surprised by the selection and creativity of options available. Signature entrees showcase the kitchen’s knack for blending traditional flavors with a modern twist. The freshness of ingredients and attention to detail shine through in every dish. Non-vegetarian offerings are equally enticing, with a variety of egg-based and meat-centric specialties that cater to those seeking something heartier. Whether you’re craving a classic egg curry or a spicy chicken entree, Eggholic delivers on taste and authenticity. The ambiance is lively yet comfortable, making it perfect for a casual meal with friends or a family gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed ur visit.
As a foodie I tried a different foods and places. Eggholic is one of the new place I tried in this area and I loved it The food , welcoming faces and a clean and nice place to eat So I recommend u guys to visit at least ones before judging it , I tried their food for the 5 time this month and it's delicious as always.
Refreshing experience. Loved the ambience, decor and seating arrangements upon entry. Delicious food, quality and plenty of variety. Very reasonable price point. Service was very good as well. I am vegetarian, so tried samosa cheese grilled sandwich (loved it), dahi puri (yum), Maggie, paneer butter masala (legit), Dabeli, mango mastani (must try)!! Will visit again for sure.
Loved the food and vibe at Eggoholic ! We especially enjoyed the Humtum dish – so flavorful. The staff recommended trying it with roti, and it was perfect. The vibe of the restaurant is lively and welcoming. Great experience overall!
The food was delicious. As a non-Indian unfamiliar with the options, I appreciated that the Screen above the order counter pictured several of the dishes. The options we chose were delicious, and the staff was very friendly.
Love the Bollywood vibes with amazing food!! We got the chicken masala sandwich and it was delicious. Also ordered the Hum Tum and the flavors were amazing!!! If you are looking for Indian street food that goes above and beyond your basic chaat this is the place you want to be at! Will definitely come back to try the rest of their menu!
I had the chance to do some electrical work at Eggholic Indian Street Food and was impressed right away by how clean and well-kept the restaurant is. Mitesh Patel, the owner, went above and beyond—he treated us to some amazing food on the house. The flavors were outstanding, and the hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommend both the food and the atmosphere here!
Food was really good and the server in front yuvi is doing well. He do Best recommendation in chicken. Holic chicken kabab is delicious
Really great place. Service, taste, ambience is 10 out of 10. We tried the following dishes: Pani-puri Dani-puri Boiled tika Egg Bhurji Hum Tum With Garlic Nan and bread. Rabadi Falooda for dessert ❤️ It’s so good and I’d totally recommend stopping by here for your Indian egg fix.
Recently went to Eggaholic in Fremont. Yeah, that was the place present in a mall, and there was conveniently next to an EV charging station. They have a lot of egg-based dish items, and I had one for a main course and buttermilk. I totally would recommend this place. It cost us a little on the higher side, but I guess it's good.
Came here for a quick lunch and I was blown away at what was recommended to me, Hum-Tum. I’m still not quite sure what it was, but it was super flavorful, had plenty of egg, and paired great with roti. When you order they ask you how spicy you want it. Indian spicy wasn’t that spicy. Definitely a rich/heavy dish but very delicious! I would come back to try their other items.
Same great taste and lots of egg variations to choose from. This locations also serves other veggie and non-veg delicious Indian street food dishes. Great ambiance, very spacious. Courteous staff and quick service. Dine in and takeout both services available.
Delicious food and nice ambiance. Egg specials - HumTum and Egg malai tikka was flavorful. Chicken masala grilled sandwich reminds of street food from India. Dahi puri was good too. The place is fairly new, simple and well decorated.
Amazing food if u love eggs. We ordered hum tum with extra butter nan, along with falooda icecream and both were great. Place alao has great interior, fast survice and its very kids friendly.
Today I tried thali in lunch i choose Amritsari chole and paneer gotala it’s delicious and price not to much I got gulab jamun and Raita in thali and service is also good I recommend this place.
Great place! We went in on soft opening day - pleasantly surprised to have good tasting indian food for a change with a good balance of spicy and flavor. Coming from east coast - that is tough to find in the bay area. Must try: boiled tikka, malai tikka, and dabeli! Hoping to try more dishes soon.
New place. We tried the veg sandwiches (ambdavadi, ultimate veggie and paneer masala) - Taste & quality was awesome. Had a good relaxing dinner there and didn't feel rushed. The counter persons recommendation were really good. the ambience, the service were all good. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. Will come back to try other items.
Food was very tasty ..unique flavours ..we ordered hum tum and anda pulav . Hum tum is must try rich and creamy .whereas anda pulav was average .owner is friendly spoke for sometime! They don’t ask for reviews, these are genuine ones as the quality speaks !will come back and recommend 🙂
Newark has a new restaurant! Come to Balentine Plaza to enjoy EGGHOLIC and Indian Street Food. I had their chicken masala sandwich and samosa chaat tonight Both were delicious.
Really yummy food and dishes, great spread in the menu with multiple choices and variations. Had a great afternoon ! Best wishes Pratik and looking forward to many more visits.

Was waiting for this to open in Bay Area for long time. And now it’s my new fav spot. Tried Bullet Fry, Hum Tum, Mango Mastani and Dahi Puri. Food is on point.

Amazing flavors and good portions! The food reminded me of the street food in Ahmedabad. Loved the Chicken Kadhai, Dahi Puri, Mango Mastani, Humtum, and Paneer Masala Sandwich. Highly recommend!
It's a popular Indian fast food chain in the western world, which brings the celebrated street side delicacies of western India (gujarat and mumbai) to your platter - love the idea. The food is good, not great. The key is to identify what to order! The egg dishes are too notch, however you can notice some items (samosa, wrap paratha) are served defrosted. Vadapav is different too. Super friendly staff, yet respectful Overall, worrh trying and judging yourself.
Went on a weekday evening and it happened to be their $12 egg dish Wednesday, so there was a bit of a wait just to place the order. Staff was helpful and answered our questions. Menu has veg, egg, and chicken options. What we tried: • Hum Tum (most rated): honestly below average for me. It was a bit salty and too eggy in flavor. Wouldn’t reorder. • Methi Matar Malai: the star of the meal. Really delicious and I’d come back just for this. • Green boiled egg: nice, but the eggs were really cold (not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be). Still enjoyed it. • Mango Mastani: ended with this and it was a total flavor bomb. Overall: some dishes are hit, some are miss, but the good ones were good enough that I’d return for selective items.
Weekend afternoon, we decided to visit this place was a busy one. There were a couple of big groups and hence some noise too. The place is pretty nice and bright though. Even though the main menu is Egg-centric, they do have great variety of vegetarian dishes too. We had Pavbhaji, it was tasty but overall okay (I wish they added less Shimla Mirch). Husband loved Egg Toofani curry with white bread. We also shared a wrap which was a bit oily but delicious. Service was nice and friendly. Overall good experience.
Food was tasty. We ordered 3 items all of them were really good. The portion size of the wrap was small for the price . But dabeli and falooda was good.

Amdavadi sandwich was good. ‘Hum Tum’ egg dish - Did not like the taste :( (it’s like chef kept adding tadka’s randomly.. may be inspired by reels)
Tried this place recently and had mixed feelings. The portions are noticeably smaller than what’s shown in the restaurant’s own photos online. The chicken sandwich had very little actual chicken, it felt more like a chicken spread inside the bread. The chicken roll was also quite small for the price. I’ve attached a picture for reference. That said, customer service was excellent. The manager was extremely friendly and even gave us a free chicken kabob plate to try, which was a nice gesture. The chicken was flavorful and well-marinated, but the rice portion was small, so if you order a plate, I’d recommend asking for extra rice. Overall, the food was okay. Probably wouldn’t return, but I do appreciate the hospitality.

I’ve picked up food from here twice. The Hum Tum and Lava Biryani were good, but I didn’t enjoy the chewy green garlic. The Vada Pav was extremely spicy even though I usually eat spicy food, this was too much for me, so I couldn’t finish it. I’ve also had better egg dishes elsewhere, so overall the taste falls somewhere in the middle for me. Some dishes are worth trying depending on your taste preferences.
Chicken Kabab rice was extremely disappointing, kabab size was huge and hence didn't have taste inside. It was recommended by the server however it is essentially kabab over plain yellow rice(no taste). Vadapav was good, chicken wrap was very average. Generally the egg specialty dishes are good, other than that average.

Too pricy and lower portions. Samosa chaat didn't have channa. Also items were much sweeter than I expected. Plates were disposable plates which I didn't like. More like a snack shop, not a place for big meals. Ambience was very good.
The place was nice, staff was friendly but food not upto the mark. If I wanted to have an American omelet then I would have gone to Danny's or Ihope wouldn't have paid so much for that. Not upto the delish indian standard.
Went for dinner last night and my friend felt a little nauseous after eating there. 🥺. I was ok but thought their prices were waaay too high for getting meals on paper plates and plastic utensils. Not even compostable utensils - all landfill. I’ve had fresher Samosa’s and their Roti was really greasy. Place was very clean and server/cashier very helpful but for what we paid for two $68 - I rather go to an Indian food truck. Or a place that serves on real dishes for those prices.
Ordered four items - Amdavadi Sandwich, Paneer Bhurji, Surati Ghotala, and Hum Tum. Amdavadi Sandwich: Good - nicely made and enjoyable. Paneer Bhurji: Average - tasted good but was far too greasy. Surati Ghotala: Poor - the one from Egglicious is miles better. Hum Tum: Terrible - overloaded with spring onions and cheese..Felt like besan..no distinct taste.. Overall Rating - Poor
As someone who really loves Indian food and often seeks out highly rated Indian restaurants, I was genuinely excited to try this place after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing and far below our expectations. The quality of the food was not great. The flavors felt bland and the dishes did not taste fresh or authentic compared to other Indian restaurants I’ve tried. We were really looking forward to a rich and flavorful meal, but it didn’t live up to the hype. Service was another issue. The waitress was not very friendly or welcoming, which made the overall experience less pleasant. In addition, the food took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t extremely busy. Overall, I was disappointed because I had high hopes based on the reviews. As someone who truly enjoys Indian cuisine, I expected much better quality, service, and attention to detail. Sadly, this visit did not meet those expectations, and I’m not sure I would return.
Ordered chicken pulao, kabob rice and samosa chat. Except the samosa chat rest of the food was bad. Gave spicy food even after saying normal 🥵 . Salt was not adjusted correctly. Overall it was bad.
STOP ADDING FOOD COLOR. Just because I clearly saw GREEN food color and tons of OIL in Veg Hyderabadi Biryani, I don’t really think I will ever order anything from here fearing there would be color in everything. Now that I have had this not so wonderful experience!
We were there for their Wednesday evening specials which clearly said one egg dish per person for $10. We were a family of 3 still the person at the counter didn’t agree to give more than 2 egg dishes at this price as advertised. Unimpressed with rude and unfriendly behavior from the staff and for not sticking to their own advertisement. Quality of food was okay and ambience was good.
Not recommended at all. Naan had strong pungent smell probably from excess baking soda and looked stale. Completely inedible. Chicken curry was tasteless and paneer gravy was okay but paneer was hard. Not going ever again.
