Great baristas - especially Jerry. It can be a challenging place to work with busyness and urban environment - baristas and incredibly gracious and kind.

Quick and always reliable. The coffee was always great as always.

The drink was just how I like it, smooth and consistent. The shop was clean and had enough seating if you want to sit for a bit.

The Star Crew: Lisa, Prisels, & Justin. Their Customer Service is beyond stellar - courteous, thoughtful, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuine. I'm truly amazed. I love San Jose. I just found my new happy place at this location in the south. The service, drink and food was amazing. The strawberry green tea infusion and their roasted ham and swiss was too good. I don’t give five stars much but this place I will!!!

This Starbucks is great. The employees remembered me after only 1 visit. They will ask about my work and ask me about other things I never expected them to remember. Obviously a Starbucks is going to be similar wherever you go in the way of taste and whatnot. That is a given. This place stands out because the people here actually seem to care about their customers. I come back more and more just for the people.

Seriously so thankful for the wonderful staff at this Starbucks. I went in at 9am during finals week and asked them to remake my drink that another Starbucks had made incorrectly. There was a huge wait and a million people in the store. They fixed my drink, made it perfectly, and had me out of there in 5 minutes. I attribute the A on my econ final to this Starbucks and their wonderful staff.

Service here is always very fast, and this Starbucks is in a convenient location close to where I live. There’s limited indoor seating, but the food and drinks always come out delicious.

Starbucks is Starbucks, what to write a review, right? But this place is so helpful for Signia by Hilton customers. There is no on-premise coffee shop or eatery there and I walked daily here to get my coffee shot early in morning and some breakfast. Good crowd from the San Jose State University keeps the atmosphere a bit loud, but that's OK

Moderate Customer Service. Seating outside the store is a good comfort, to chill & have the drink. The store is neat and well maintained. Some of the staff tend very well. Being in a Downtown area can sometimes be off-putting due to homeless individuals loitering around. Overall, a good Starbucks store to get a quick snack or drink.

Register people at the Register, floaters floating, bar people on bar. Was exact opposite when I was there. Someone came in 5 minutes after me and got their drip immediately while I was still waiting & I asked if I could get mine and was denied.

Jonathan, rude, what can I say. Kicked me out of the store, I only needed to use the restroom. There was one other person waiting but only I got kicked out. I didn’t fight I simply said okay and walked out, but every other place was closed. I walked back and saw he had let someone else go to the restroom. Claimed she was already in the store but I was too? So he saw me and locked the door. I even asked if he’d give me a minute since I was already inside too. But no. Thanks bro, happy holidays.

Employee was extremely rude, I was about to defecate myself and was refused the bathroom. It wasn’t busy and I’m no an unhoused vagrant. Luckily I was able to hold it and not defecate all over their door. Next time I/they might not be so lucky. Just let normal people god to the bathroom.

One-Star Review: Disappointing and Disrespectful Service I am absolutely appalled by the treatment I received at Starbucks today. As a long-time, loyal customer who has spent thousands of dollars at your establishments over the years, and even as a former employee, I expected a basic level of courtesy and understanding. Today, I urgently needed to use the restroom. Upon asking for the code, I was told by an employee that I "had to buy something first." I explained the urgency of my situation, reiterating that I needed to go now, but she insisted. I was forced to make a purchase just to gain access to a basic facility. This is not only incredibly inconvenient but also deeply disrespectful. To be treated like a stranger, or worse, a potential non-customer, after years of dedicated patronage and even having contributed to your company as an employee, is truly disheartening. This experience has completely soured my view of Starbucks. It's clear that customer loyalty means nothing when a basic human need is involved. I am utterly disappointed.

I personally do not consume coffee but I occasionally buy something for my wife. Today the cashier informed me that they are no longer providing free pup cups, that I need to buy something in order to get the free cup. No worries, I walked away, and my dog didn't know any better. I didn't think it was a big deal since there was 1 person drinking their coffee in the store and it was 5.30AM, I wouldn't have asked if they were busy. When I came home I did a google search " Are pup cups no longer free at Starbucks?" and the information I saw was that water and pup cups are free and are not going away or so says their CEO Laxman Narasimhan on March 13th 2024 at their annual meeting. Not a complaint just didn't see anything official saying they would stop. I understand that its not a soup kitchen, its a business and that its not good for dogs, but every once in a while doesn't hurt. Its not like I come in there every day, just once a month maybe?! I'm sure some people abuse it, but it's the cost of doing business. Some people will buy other products you sell, the pup cup/free water just gets your consumers in the store. Anyway my two cents.
