The best (old school diner feel) restaurant for sure. Massive menu, lots of super tasty items to chose from. Breakfast comes with lots of sides and portions are hearty. One of our family favorites for sure. The staff is awesome and have been there so long...they know who you are. And...your cofee cup will never be empty!

Love the breakfast menu's. The Quality and Quantity are great. The price is right . The customer Service are so courteous and respectful.Check your coffee and refill them . Place are clean so as the bathroom. Quite place for early morning breakfast. Visit the place today after church service with friends (15) as get together. everyone likes what they order. Be back again for sure.

I have only ever been here for breakfast, but have been several times. The service is always great, the people are always nice, and the food, while quite pricey, is always excellent and the portions are huge. I have settled in with the Chile Relleno and Eggs breakfast as my go-to. I am fairly picky when it comes to Chile Relleno dishes, a lot of places serve the pepper undercooked while the cheese and everything else is scorching hot, but here it all just melts in your mouth and is so flavorful.

Really enjoyed brunch with the family here. Brunch was delicious! They’re not shy with the coffee for sure. I had the joes scramble and country fried steak!

Plenty on tables and a really friendly staff. Maria is the best, shes been serving the community for some time, shes always friendly and the food comes out super fast. Try the chili verde breakfast, very tasty.

I opted to tried one of their more popular dishes: chicken chile verde omlette. First bite and I fell in love. Savory, chicken flavors and the green chili is slightly spicy in tang rather than heat. A very inviting dish where you know that they care about their food. The chicken, as soon as you bite into it, falls apart and spills this fatty deliciousness into your mouth. Not overcooked or undercooked at all, just that perfect tenderness that a chile verde deserves. I didn't finish it because it was so hearty and filling, I took it home to have it later for dinner. I would definitely recommend this dish!

Ok this throwback is not shiny and trendy but it has what’s kept this place going for longer than I can remember. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years and have narrowed my breakfast choice to one category. The best omelette soufflés in the bay. It’s this huge fluffy delicious omelette with your choice of many filling. My favorite is the Evergreen Soufflé with the chorizo soufflé a close second. The best part of the soufflé is it’s Keto or carb free. Almost feels like you’re cheating on your diet. Coffee is ok and all the other items are standard breakfast and lunch items.

As you see very good also they have only in the Bar MENUDO or PESOLE depending on what the cook makes there both good but ONLY in the Bar been going for awhile now and will continue to go when in the area of ABORN N WHITE check it out

Nothing to complain about this place, I’m happy it’s open again.

New favorite brunch place in this area 😋

Nice, large restaurant that can seat alot of people so never a problem getting in here. Mostly breakfast fare but also have burgers and a few other special lunch foods as well. Food is good and portions are really large (perhaps too large). I could honestly do with about 30% less food and still really enjoy this place. Prices are not what I would call inexpensive - most everything runs around $10 to $14 not including drinks.

Quaint little place for breakfast. Food was decent and waiters were friendly and very attentive. I went there in the morning in the middle of the week. Not crazy busy and received my food in a timely manner. Decor seems dated, but adds to the charm of the unassuming restaurant. Good place to take the family for breakfast and lunch. Can't speak for dinner or bar as I haven't visited during the evening.

Always great service, good value, good food, great local spot...the place has it's own distinctive charm and waiters/waitresses are always friendly and attentive. The portions are HUGE, so a couple might want to order an item to share. Breakfast and some of their hot sandwiches definitely the highlights on the menu. If you get a salad, ask for dressing on the side, as they can sometimes drench it in dressing. Also, you can order from the bar that is "connected" to the restaurant next door and have a drink at your table :)

Breakfast always cooked to order and staff is the best. Hashbrowns or country potatoes and Love the big steak fries with a French dip! Omelets are hearty and can't go wrong with pork hop and eggs. Pancakes are fluffy, served hot and tasty

Charming neighborhood spot. No frills kind of place to have a good solid meal. The portions are huge so ask for a box or you can even share. I had the French Toast combo which included 2 eggs, 2 sausage and bacon. In addition the French Toast slices were thick and fluffy. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was a mammoth serving ! I had leftovers for 2 days which I was glad to have. The service was fast and friendly. I gave this place 4 stars because my French Toast was a bit cold. But it was still good.

I had bacon and eggs. The bacon was perfect for me. I love crispy bacon. I was expecting 2 slices of bacon, but they had a generous helping of several slices. The country potatoes were fantastic.

Great place to go and eat the food is good, I didnt realize the prices went up when I took my niece and nephews here last time I went the kids meals was about $6 maybe $7 so its been quite a while. As soon as I saw the prices I should have took them somewhere else as I was on a budget, but I didn't want to be that person and just leave and the kids was hungry anyway so we stayed. They each ordered their meals and I just ordered a corned beef side (*budget) but I got to eat my nieces hashbrowns because she doesn't like hashbrowns so that was a plus for me. Despite me not doing my research and see if the prices has changed, we all were satisfied and enjoyed everything. The staff was attentive and the food came out fast and hot.

recently this place is hit or miss. Last couple times 'Ive been here the food has been sub par. The very last time I was there my hash browns were cooked all the way and still cold and raw in the middle. I pointed it out that they were not cooked and then they brought me ones that were way overcooked and super oily. Just looking at them I would not even try them they looked gross. I take it as a sign of disrespect.

This is for the bar. Yo that taco truck outside was drunk munchies perfection! Truck had homemade tortillas!! Bartenders are cool. Security at door will scan ID and kick anyone out who gets out of line. Most folks that come here are cool and friendly so it lends to a chill vibe after you settle in. They have a pool table about 4 booths and a small dance floor and DJ on the side where the restaurant sits during the day (that's also where bathrooms are).

A long time local place. Decorations haven't changed much in 40 ish years. But I kind of like the nostalgia. The food is not that great, but it's not horrible either. I think for how the food tastes, the pricing is too high. But I still like to go here to have coffee and pancakes. Sometimes I get their fries, extra crispy.

The food is overpriced and not very good. I had a chicken breast sandwich for $14.95. The breast was cut to about 1/4" thick, overcooked and dry. Chicken is not expensive and for the price, you should get something resembling an actual piece of chicken and not a thin slice.The people are very pleasant but there is no value here. I could have spent $5 down the street at Lee's & received much better food at a better price.

Steak was okay, eggs just blah, breakfast potatoes was unimpressive. Mimosa was excellent that's what gave them the 2 stars!!! Sent back pancake... not worth the calories, just didn't taste good... got crepes... it was doable I guess. Definitely not worth $40... for just me....wish I went somewhere else or stayed home.... the waitress was nice and the waiters as well...btw I ordered mushroom and they didn't add mushrooms... waste of my money

The service, the location and the decor was good. However the cup I was drinking coffee from still had lipstick on it !!! And the omelette had too much cheese when I specially asked them to reduce it. I'm never going to visit this restaurant again. Was way too pricey for the quality of dish cleaning and food quality.

Worst experience ever for 2 people got a waitress who was totally inexperienced with customer service a manager that could not even help me when I asked him to explain how my bill was $65 because for 4 pieces of chicken are $11.95 crazy how much they charge when their service/food is not even up to par the men’s restroom where smelly like how can you have customers go in there so I recommend you to be careful coming here. Go to Denny’s or I hop if you want a simple breakfast meal at least they will help to a point better than here not coming back after this!!

Tonight was my first time here it 5 :30 pm on 53/25 I cam in to relax I just moved into the neighborhood and I been filling my way around although I have live here all my life and I have seen this area devastated, well moving into the neighborhood like I said listen to the bar tender speak about Mexican was not expectable, I am an Mexican American and I have the right to speck my mind, your onwners she speck wit your bartenders,FYI I will never come back and if anyone reads this we all have the right regardless of or skiin cooler !!!

May 3rd Saturday at around 10:00-closing there was a girl working with a Betty boop tattoo on her arm who kept giving me dirty looks and walked away when I approached the bar next to my boyfriend who was trying to order us drinks, she then kept giving me dirty looks alll night even when I was simply walking by outside and came in to use the bathroom
