Gloria's Burritos is a popular spot for authentic Mexican food, especially their large and flavorful burritos and plates like the Chile Colorado. Customers praise the generous portions, reasonable prices, and friendly service. Some find the salsa too spicy or the veggie burrito lacking.

I got the wet Gloria's burrito, it was so good! It was also huge, great value for the price. The service wasn't particularly friendly but they did their job well, keeping us hydrated and generally being attentive.
Perfect spot for authentic Mexican food.
Gloria's Burrito, carne asada, dry costs $9.61 plus tax. They take card. Order at the counter, you can ask for a menu there. The burrito itself is fantastic. This is not the lackluster carne asada you get at most of the chains, it's got real flavor. You can get different kinds of meat with your burrito, including shrimp, beef a couple different ways, pork a couple different ways. The price varies depending on your meat choice. I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite burrito. I've been once before, and had the enchilada and tamale lunch plate combo, which was also fantastic.
First time customer. Place was super clean, service was quick, food was delicious. Great prices. Friendly atmosphere. Definitely will be going back again.
Delicious food! Take out 15 minutes from phone order. Nice and hot!! Generous portions! Chili Rellenos my favorite!! Great comfort food menu!! 👏🌟☝️
It was a wonderful time and service great and fast! The food was so good we have been looking for a restaurant like this! We will be going back and taking our family . A+++
It's the absolute best place I've eaten at in a while. It's a small and quiet place so I was able to eat in peace. The service was faster than other restaurants.
Really liked it. Lots of options, the kids liked it too. Nice selection of beers too. The salsa is particularly good and the service was super friendly.
M likes their burritos. They're kind of different in that lettuce is a normal addition. I like their nachos. Simple but tasty.
Everything here is so good! My favorites are the burritos, the shredded chicken taco, the sides of rice and beans, the pork tamale and enchiladas—all of them!
I have been looking for a while for a favorite close to home burrito spot and I can't be more happy that I finally found that place. Their chicken burrito is sooo yummy 😋
Awesome authentic burritos from this little hole in the wall. Simple, no frills, but delicious and perfectly executed. Comes with freshly made tortilla chips.
AWSOME FOOD.. AWSOME SERVICE.. MUST TRY THERE POLO OR ASADA( CHICKEN OR BEEF) TACO SALAD, ITS SO DELICIOUS 😋 😍.
The employees are attentive to their customers orders: food is fresh not soggy especially the salads. Gloria's knows what to do in the kitchen ❤️
My favorite lucnh place and even sometimes dinner! Always ready in 10 min! I forgot to mention it's delicious. 😋🌯🌮
The food was delicious (doing a chef’s kiss gesture) The service was exceptional!
I ordered the Chile Colorado plate, which was fantastic. Large portion, comes with tortillas. Also, I was served two different kinds of salsa, both of which were incredible—not too spicy, not too mild. My only complaint is that black beans are not offered, but that’s not enough to knock off a star. (July 2019)
Quiet, hole in the wall, casual eating restaurant. This place has been here for a long time, and you might miss it if you blink. However, looks are deceiving here... this place is FIRE! My boyfriend always says, he can tell how good a Mexican restaurant is by how their refried beans taste. Their beans are creamy and flavorful, and they put them in their breakfast burritos. I know, sounds a little weird, but it goes together PERFECTLY. I got the chorizo and egg burrito (there are only three types to choose from). I added a little bit of the red sauce they included, and WOW! My memory instantly took me back to my grandma's house as a kid. This sauce tastes almost identical as my grandma's red sauce that she used to make from New Mexico Chili Pods she ordered annually from Hatch, NM. Her chorizo and egg burritos with red sauce were my comfort food, and Gloria's is the closest I've ever found to it. Everyone has been sleeping on Gloria's Burritos. They are the ABSOLUTE BEST!
My go to spot for breakfast burritos. They have chorizo, bacon and ham versions.
Gloria’s Burritos was great. Their portion sizes are good and you can’t beat the prices. It’s a small and quaint little restaurant. The service was good and we did not have to wait long for our food.
If you want an authentic San Jose style tacqueria experience, this is a great place. Not huge but clean and pretty, with fantastic burritos and perfect pico de gallo. You'll love it.
A hole-in-the-wall place if there ever was one, But great food presented and served well. The price seems a bit on the higher side, but is more than compensated by portion size and taste. The "wet" burrito I had was well seasoned, and came with fresh avocado slices on top. This one was a veggie one, but the chicken one was good, too.

I haven't had such good homemade meal outside of home in a long time! It was amazing. Im telling everybody I know who looking for a great place to eat. Price was good.
First time trying the breakfast burritos today and it looks like I have found my new go-to place. The food was delicious and the person who took our order was friendly and inviting. Will be going back to lunch in the future.
I was craving a carne asada plate but didn’t feel like going to my usual spot, so I decided to give Gloria’s Burritos a try after stumbling across this little mom-and-pop restaurant. I’m glad I did! The carne asada plate really hit the spot, flavorful, well-seasoned, and satisfying. Portions were just right, and you can tell the food is made with care. On top of that, the customer service was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and want some good, homestyle Mexican food, Gloria’s Burritos is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be back for sure!
Gloria’s burritos provided me a GLORIOUS burrito. 10/10 I’m eating here everytime I’m in San Jose!
Cheap and delicious. The breakfast burritos are out of this world.
Love this place. We have been coming here for 15 years. 10/10
Very good first experience 👍🏻 my burrito was perfect 👌 I'll be coming back for sure!!
Great food from a little strip mall type of place... plenty of tasty food in a serving... clean place with just the basic stuff on the walls and tables... but I like it better this way... no need to pretend to be anything but what you are... not expensive and the food is very good. Looking like lots of regulars eat or orders take out here
I have some food allergies, also the presentation and how food is cook is important to me, they always help me. Have not gotten sick after eating here, if this happens It will be posted. so far I enjoy eating here. The owner is awesome i have been coming here for over three years.

Really good food at this small location! Found it by accident and was impressed with the flavor a d preparation! Their Mexican breakfast with chorizo and eggs is delicious, IMO. Check it out!
I love that I can get something different each time & they're all good. I especially love their soups. Better foods than most places, yet cheaper.
Great food. Our go-to place whenever we are in the area. Fantastic hard shell tacos and wet burritos.
The food is pretty good and a great value during non-peak hours. Generally good and friendly service. The salsa is amazing.
A solid Mexican food place in West San Jose with a nice wait staff and solid tasting food. Parking isn’t too bad and the space though small is cozy (not fancy) and feels like a cafe, but the wait staff is helpful, friendly and nice. I have not been disappointed in the times I’ve visited and have enjoyed the different dishes I’ve tried. Though the dishes aren’t exactly memorable/standout (to me personally), they have more than met my cravings & expectations here in West San Jose.

Nothing to see here that's special. Had a wet chicken burrito. Not a lot of cheese or flavor but fine. Server was friendly and on top of things (but I was there in the off hours of 3pm, so not many other customers). Atmosphere dreary.

Mom and pop restaurant Clean inside quick service. Fair prices. Good menu something for everyone.. Lock up your car and hide everything.
The food is tasty and it feels home made. Clean and quiet place to enjoy a quick meal.
I’m on the hunt for the best veggie burrito on this side of San Jose. Gloria’s seemed promising but meh. Mostly beans and rice that tasted like lard, salsa not so fresh, no lettuce. Extra charge for (greasy) chips and salsa. I had a stomach ache for hours after eating the chicken burrito. Probably won’t return...the hunt continues.

Gloria’s Burrito with carne asada for around $14 was decent and filling. Good amount of meat but skimpy on sour cream and guacamole. Nothing to rave about.
Pros: super burrito is very large Cons: 1. burrito in foil is very floppy. Most burritos I get wrapped in foil are firm enough to be stood on end. However this may be due in part to being larger than most. 2. shredded chicken is utterly flavorless I've been to 7 burrito shops and taquerias in the last month for a burrito. This is the worst one so far. I'm disappointed because the reviews talk about it highly, so I had high expectations
Visited on the afternoon of 10/8/22. Second visit overall in the last month. They now charge $3.50 for chips and salsa. It's not complimentary. Their salsa comes with a sauce that it seems is just made from how much chili powder they can mix with water. Overly hot and nasty. The pico that comes with it is decent, but the basic sauce is just stupid. And I come from Cajun country and know seasoning. Had the enchilada/taco combo plate. Both beef. Meat and cheese only on the taco. The enchilada was servicable. Not the best, but still somewhat tasty. The meat was bland, but the red sauce and melted cheese made it palatable. The taco was basically unseasoned ground beef, and dry as a bone. I ordered it meat and cheese only, and if not for the cheese, it would have been inedible. Overall, I will never ever go back here now. I guess this place is another causality of the inflation and general degradation of all our institutions now, but for the price I paid for this, for a fraction of the cost, I can make something exponentially better than this here at my own home.

WARNING!! DO NOT EAT HERE!! My boyfriend and his friends ate at this restaurant....ALL OF THEM GOT FOOD POISONING THE VERY NEXT DAY!! My daughter's friend just ate here last night (9/16/13) and she too got food poisoning today!! Everyone who speaks of this place have all gotten food poisoning but no one reports it! They just choose to not eat there again. People! You need to always report these things! Getting sick from food being handled carelessly can cause death too!
My experience here was horrendous. The person at the counter was rude and the "super burrito" didn't have sour cream or guacamole. Also, the carnitas tasted like old dog food.
Walked in ... A big sign on a table said they charge (I think $3.50 for chips and salsa). Last time we got chips and salsa free. There was a line of 4 people and no one at the counter. Waited several minutes ... No one came to the counter. Disappointed, we left.
the enchilada's were okay. not the best. it came with bland rice and watery beans. I don't know if this is accurate but I heard the use of the microwave. There are better mexican restraunts
Good food but the male person at the register can be mean and unwelcoming. :/
Meh. Guacamole tasted like old avocado. Salsa was just hot sauce. Chicken wasn't tasty. Do not recommend. Got a dry chicken burrito. Also, they don't have al pastor
Got a burrito. The rice was super bland and had no flavor at all, the guacamole was thin and had a weird after taste and the meat had lots of chewy cartilage pieces. Honestly pretty bad burrito…..
