Best Mod by far, not just because of the food but the staff here are so very pleasant and professional. Definitely recommend if your looking for pizza that's delicious! It's make your own or order from a signature menu! My daughter loves the dairy free with fresh vegetables and I love the thick crust with pepperoni sausage and extra mozzarella!! So yummy! Shout out to Cash for the customer service, your an amazing soul!

Leo, the expeditor, was extremely professional and kind. It was packed and they still managed to get me the buffalo sauce I asked for on the side. When I had to wait for the pizza because it was extremely busy, they offered me a cup of water. All my specifications on the pizza were correct and I got my condiments. 10/10 would recommend

We went during the promotion that kids eat free on Sunday. They got for free a small pizza and a drink. For the two adults it cost us 33$ with tax and tips. It was a nice place and the promotion made us visit the establishment. Love that we can choose whatever we want on the pizza and salad.

The “build-your-own-pizza” concept is fantastic. Everyone in my family gets to choose their toppings, sauces, and crust preferences, which makes dining out a fun and personalized experience. They offer unlimited toppings for the same price, which is rare to find. Whether you’re looking for a veggie-packed pizza, like I often do, or something meaty and cheesy, there’s something for everyone. The quality of ingredients is fresh, and I appreciate the variety of options, including gluten-free and cauliflower crusts for those with dietary restrictions. The staff is always friendly and helpful, ensuring your pizza is made just the way you like it. Really good sushi and lunch specials! Waiters were hard to find but took our order quickly. Lots of variety on the menu including kobe beef and baked rice!

Food was presented beautifully, the sushi rolls were delicious. The soup I ordered did not taste as I would have expected; however, I soon forgot because desert came along and it was pleasing both to my eyes and my taste buds. Service was nice and prompt. I will be back.

June 2025 Weekday lunch with colleagues: we sat outside. Service was fairly quick and they checked on us a few times for drink refills and small extras for the meal. We ordered lunch combos: a 3 item set (teriyaki salmon & chicken, tuna slices), nigiri set and unagi roll, and a 3 roll set (salmon avocado, tuna avocado, and unagi). The teriyaki sauce over the grilled salmon and chicken seemed a bit much to me; consider asking for more or less per your preference. The 3 sets of rolls were much larger than I was expecting. The salmon and tuna chunks were solid (not chopped up) and very filling. The nigiri were beautiful and eaten quickly. We really enjoyed our lunch.

Supporting neighborhood foods place. They are actually really good. I would give 4 1/2 stars if I can. Place look pretty nice. Parking is good...Will come again try others foods. I do recommend.

Prices have gone up. Good people and staff. We use to go here often because of the one piece, all topings included experience. So even the kids can get their own pizza. Now the menu and pricing has changed. Bill was about $20 per person. Not a regular place for us now. All in all, it's fine to good. Staff is cool though.

We are fans of build-you-own pizza places, and Mod Pizza is maybe the favorite of these. I love asking for extra extra bacon, extra jalapenos, and olives in my pizzas; my son, extra pepperoni, sausage, and ham; my daughter, tomatoes and olives. We each get what we want. Tip: ask for it extra crispy, and they leave it in the oven just a tad longer for a slightly browned crust.

Good pizza at moderate prices is increasingly difficult to find in the high tech hub that is North San Jose. Mod pizza fits the bill for those looking for a step above chain pizza joints like Round Table. Blaze pizza has a greater selection of ingredients than Mod pizza but Mod pizza's crust seems to taste better. Everyone's idea of good pizza is different but I think Mod pizza is a good choice. We spent $50 for 3 pizzas and drinks. That's a pretty good deal these days

Good place for good pizza with good toppings and good service. We can choose our toppings and customize any pizza we like. We also get sauces as a takeaway. Pizza’s got thin crust and a really good crisp.

All the options and pizzas drinks and desserts make this place great for individuals, groups and families. The restaurants always clean and trash is always taken out so you can enjoy that too. Employees are kind and always welcome you when you come to the door.

Went to go pick up my order and was welcomed by a worker that was on their phone with their back towards me; another worker needed to get their attention to help me. My patience was rewarded with burned tobiko on top of the fried rice. I understand that it’s baked but it really shouldn’t be hard to add the tobiko after you bake the fried rice. The dragon roll and chicken karaage were okay. The main appeal of this place is the convenience since it’s close by, nothing else.

Place was clean and lax. The host welcomed me in and took my to-go order quickly and efficiently. They finished my order faster than I had expected. However, the quality of the food was mediocre. Despite being a special roll, the size and taste- both being satisfactory- were underwhelming when compared to other places that have larger portion sizes. $16.50 for this portion size is asking a bit too much from the customer who wanted to satisfy their sushi craving. Not a fan nor a favorite of this sushi restaurant despite its convenient location in my area.

The person making pizza was kind and patient. We ordered Mini pizza and informed the cashier about the same. He rang us. But after paying we noticed that there was a combo for a mini pizza with a no name cake and drink for the same price of mini pizza. When we asked why we didn't get the other two items, they informed us that we didn't tell them it was combo#3. When the price was the same in many restaurants or stores, they always informed us to go for the combo, but not this one. I'm so disappointed.

Sushi is ok. Not great quality. Too much teriyaki sauce. And just give you tap water. Bento box meet tasted like it was from Chili’s. The shrimp wax 75 percent batter.

Not bad but not great. Didn't get a spoon with my miso soup and asked for one but never was given one. The soup wasn’t hot. The sushi rolls were not as proportioned as other places. I don’t think I’ll be back

This place been popping everywhere and finally got the chance to order take out. Its busy, plenty of seating and customer service is great. However the pizza is nothing to brag about. Really Really thin thin pizza dough. It's not a Crispy crust either. The biggest size is 11 inch, good to share. My first impression on the simple pepperoni pineapple pizza was that it looks like the ones at chucky cheese, my pov from maybe 6-7 years ago, haven't been there since my kids were little. Again nothing special about their pizza. Pepperoni is lack of flavor. Apparently it's busy, so people do love it? This place is just not for me.

Poorly prepared pizza and less-than-pleasant service at counter. The pizza tasted old, the crust was not good, and it looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or something far too long. The salad was very good and the highlight of the meal, but they did not include two of the three dressings I asked for. I won't be back to this location ever again.

I have been coming here for years! Since they opened. But I am in shock. How is it possible that you have an empty restaurant, and you have audacity to treat people with such disrespect. I was told to pick my seat by the host and then an Asian lady come and said I couldn’t sit at a table. I asked if it was reserved, and she said no. But that I couldn’t sit it in. It was a 2 person table in the corner, and I walked in with my two kids, trying to find a little corner to keep them tamed. Maybe they just don’t need my business. They must prefer their restaurant empty. After this being my go to spot for many years, this seriously was so disrespectful they LOST MY BUSINESS.

We ordered Chirashi but the assorted sashimi were not fresh. We also ordered large Sapporo for drinks but found out later during payment that it was not included in the happy hour price. The waiter should have notified us about it in the beginning because we asked her if we are still in the happy hour timeframe prior to ordering it. We will not comeback and we will not recommend this place!

We are vegan and used to visit this place often because they advertise vegan options and even have signage saying they support vegans. Unfortunately, after our experience yesterday evening, we won’t be coming back. We stood in line for about 15 minutes, and while it wasn’t even busy, we watched the employee making pizzas handle pepperoni and vegetables with the same gloves. She put her gloved hand into the pepperoni container and then immediately into the bell pepper container, causing obvious cross-contamination. Normally, at build-your-own pizza parlors, workers use one hand to scoop up ingredients with a scooper and then spread the ingredients with the other hand. This shows a complete lack of training or awareness around dietary restrictions and allergies. For vegans (and others with food restrictions), this completely defeats the purpose of offering vegan options at all. If you’re going to market yourself as vegan-friendly, staff should at least understand basic food-handling practices like changing gloves and keeping ingredients separate. If you have any dietary restrictions, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location until staff are properly trained. Very disappointing experience.

Food here is great but every time service sucks never acknowledge that your there or say anything waited 20 minutes have 1 person making pizza/cashier. So I left ate Jersey mikes fast service and plenty of workers
