Our family really enjoyed the chicken/lamb/mushroom masala, garlic Naan, and one other vegetarian dish (24). The service was very kind and the portions filling. Thank you very much, will come again!

Love this place. Best Butter Chicken anywhere! Seriously cannot get enough and have eaten here twice this week already. Even my husband who's not really a big fan of Indian food loves the Butter Chicken too. The portion is big enough that we add an extra side of butter garlic naan and it's more than plenty, even when we are super hungry.

This restaurant never disappoints me. We have been here 3 times and all three times our experience was amazing. The food and staff are both top notch. We went there over the weekend and ordered a few appetizers and a few main entrees. Everything from onion Bhaji to paneer curries, and dal was perfectly made. The breads were also very soft. Will definitely visit again and again.

I FINALLY found my go-to Indian restaurant!!! Ever since I moved from Garden Grove I've been looking for a great Indian restaurant around the Dana Point area and I've tried a few but they were all just "ok" and WAY overpriced. Everything here was top notch. Great portions and reasonably priced. My gf and I got lamb kabobs, lamb vindaloo, appetizer sampler and garlic naan bread. Everything was amazing. Naan bread was best I've had and they give you a whole basket for $4. Sampler was a great bargain. All the sauces were great. Lamb was perfect and a huge heapin bowl of perfect basmati rice. The place is very cozy and casual but nice, clean restrooms and very nice service. I will absolutely be coming back here over and over.

Stripmall Himalayan food. Came here on a Monday for lunch with my parents around 1pm and got a table immediately. Indoor dining only (no outdoor options). Plenty of parking available in the shared strip mall parking lot. We got an order of chicken momos (they come in 6 and do have a veggie option) which were super tasty. Split a mango lassi with my mom; it was on the smaller side but the lassi was thick and creamy. The butter chicken comes with rice and is rich. The tandoori chicken however was my favorite - it came sizzling hot and with plenty of flavor. Toss in an order of garlic naan (comes with 6 pieces) and you’ve got a great meal.

Came here on our way home from Crystal Cove beach and let me tell you. You haven’t eaten till you’ve tried Himalayan/Nepalese food! Everything is perfectly spiced the meat is juicy tender and flakey plus our service was lightning fast! I had the Tiki Masala and my partner a chicken dish recommended to us and it blew her away! She’s begging me to come back. On our way out the friendly/amazing staff provided us with 2 samosas free of charge. We have enough food for a whole other meal left over, can’t wait to dig into that garlic naan.

We've been to many Indian restaurants around the country. Himalayan Taste is in the top 5. The variety of dishes and flavors are amazing. We love this place!!

I ordered take-out for 60 hungry high schoolers. The catering menu on the website was very helpful. I initiated the order 2 days prior to pickup and the manager was nice and accommodating. He even put allergy information on each dish as well as provided a hotbox for transport. The staff was friendly and helpful when loading it into our car. The food was hot and ready when picked up and there was plenty for everyone. It was a hit!

The entire team is from Nepal, and they’re some of the kindest, most welcoming people you’ll ever meet. Great food, great people—this place is truly special.

We go here quite often because it is, without a doubt, the BEST Indian food around OC. The reason being is it is owned & operated by beautiful Nepalese folks. Bachchu, Reenjen, Bisnu, Murari (the best cook) etc. will take great care of you and completely satisfy your culinary needs. Trust me!!!!

They offer unique Himalayan dishes in addition to typical Indian food. You'll have a large variety to choose from and everything is very flavorful. They are also excellent at customizing vegetarian orders.

Hands down the best Himalayan food I’ve ever had. The butter chicken and lamb biryani are absolutely incredible. Even the basics; the naan, the turmeric rice, the sauces, amazing.
