Delicious food, atmosphere and service was impeccable!!! Best Mexican food I've ever had! The Civeche was fanominal! The Chile Verde was fantastic and enjoyed by several of our party! The churros and ice cream brought back memeories of homemade ice cream from childhood...We will definitely be visiting Sol Agave for many years to come.
Maybe the best Mexican Restaurant. My wife loved the Jalepeno Soup. The steak fajitas were delicious. Steak was very high quality and delicious. Service was superb. Highly recommended.
Loved this place. It was my first time and I ordered margarita flight, shrimp taquitos, sugar cane filet, & Mar y Tierra. The service was amazing and bottomless chips and salsa and beans. Will definitely be going back to try more!
Sol Agave is incredible. The food is absolutely delicious. It's high-end Mexican food. The service is quick and professional. The restaurant is well-maintained. It has clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. The patio is covered, heated, and offers a private ambiance. The owner is often there and regularly interacts with customers while leading his team. He and his team take pride in their work, restaurant, and quality of their food.
Great food, amazing service and fantastic value considering the quality of food. Best Mexican cuisine I have ever had, hands down. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and we were completely satisfied with just a couple orders of appetizers.
We had a wonderful experience at Sol Agave! The atmosphere was welcoming—clean and very well kept. Service was great, our waitress catered to our requests without us even having to ask, and was polite and friendly. Not to mention the food, absolutely incredible. The presentation was well put together and the taste was phenomenal. Definitely worth it to stop by. Thanks Sol Agave!!
Started with chips and dip which included a salsa and a bean dip, both were exceptional. Then had the Chili Colorado for dinner with a Modelo draft. The entree is made with exquisite short ribs and a delicious sauce. The atmosphere on Sunday night was subdued and the open seating was sparse. Service was very active with multiple servers and a visit from the manager. Cost was comparable to the quality of the food, about $40‐50 per person. Sol Agave always has great food, regardless of the menu selection. Looking forward to returning.
A friend and I were at an event in the area, and randomly stopped by to have an early dinner at this restaurant. What a great experience! Professional and friendly staff, great service, and the food was delicious. I had the chile relleno plate (two chiles - one with carnitas, and one with cheese, served with rice and beans) and my friend had the carnitas special. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The meat was very good quality and tender. Portions were generous. It was reasonably priced, too. We look forward to going there again.
I went to Sol Agave yesterday with my girlfriend for lunch, and it was hands down one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The place looks amazing and has a great atmosphere. Our server, Marcos, was exactly what I look for in a server, friendly, professional, gave great recommendations, and never rushed us into ordering. The food was spectacular. We had the mixed ceviche, shrimp tacos, and the taquiza plate, and finished with churros for dessert. Everything was not only beautifully presented but also tasted incredible. We’re definitely going back, this place is a must-try!
Sol Agave is one of our favorite places to enjoy authentic Mexican food as a family! The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, making it perfect for gathering together. Every dish is full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with quality ingredients—you can taste the passion in every bite. The margaritas and cocktails are a must-try, and the staff always goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Whether it’s a family night out or a special occasion, Sol Agave never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food, great service, and a true Mexican dining experience!
5-star service and operations -- with a great attention to customer satisfaction -- for example, without us asking, they put a small rack at the side of our table so that my wife could hang her bag (instead of sitting on the floor). Thank you Enrique! Highlights of our meal were the chips & salsa, theTacos del Mar, and the spongy delicious Tres Leches cake.
Wow what a great place! Let’s get into it. I came here with a group of car friends. We didn’t call ahead. And they had no idea we were coming either a very large party and lots of cars. But guess what? If all worked out amazing! Let’s move on. From the moment we parked. To the moment we were seated. They were all steely accommodating. They quickly put a large area of tables together for us. Quickly took our orders and food came out in a VERY timely manner. Entire place was clean. Well taken care of. Staff as I said again was absolutely amazing. Very attentive and professional. Let’s get into the food. I kept it really simple. Chicken quesadilla. Very tender, juicy seasoned to perfection chicken. I will 100% without a doubt get this again. A lot of places somehow seem to mess up the simplest things. However this place didn’t. Drink flight. Mostly all to sweet for me. I’m not a big sugar person. But if that’s what you’re into you’ll love it! Would I recommend this place? Most definitely. Will I return? Yes. See you soon Sol Agave!
Dinner was delicioso! Excellent Food, decor and service. It was a busy Saturday night, sat outdoors with reservations. Inside had some big groups but service and the meal came out promptly. Shrimp taquitos are the best, tender prawns with crispy corn tortilla wrapped around them and all the flavors come together with the sauces and toppings. Chicken mole enchilada was tender and mole was on point. Carnitas were tender and crispy. Camarones enchiladas super flavorful. Margaritas refreshing and well made with top shelf tequila options. Service was friendly and manager came around asking how our dishes were.
Simply Amazing! The starting by all the great drinks, especially the margarita tasting flight! The food was perfect! We enjoyed every meal! The staff was super friendly! They were able to accommodate us without reservations in a busy night! So if you go there you have to try the butter cake! 🎂 I want to come back there just because of this cake!
Excellent first visit. Very friendly staff and manager, Alfonso. Really liked the table tortilla chips accompanied by pico de gallo and warmed bean dip, nice touch. I had the Sugar Cane filet, what a nice change from “standard” Mexican fare. Great flavors, meat was excellent, cooked as ordered and no waste. Rice had sweet corn in it, very good. The chile de arbol crema was delicious. Recommended, we will be back.
Chile Colorado - three medallions of slow braised short rib in a smokey chile sauce, topped with raw white onions and cilantro. It is served with rice that has some corn mixed in and topped with pickled onions.
This is a pricey upscale Mexican restaurant. It was lovely inside but we enjoyed the outside seating. I was very surprised that the booth was quite comfortable even though it didn’t look to be so. They offer a small basket of chips with tiny containers of refried beans and salsa. It’s quite nice but very small and especially for 4 people! I’m not quite sure why they defaulted for a nice presentation over providing a reasonable amount of food in the chips and salsa. Our food was excellent. In particular my taco with the mole sauce was outstanding. I hadn’t had Mole in many years. Their sauce was a tiny bit sweet and a little bit spicy, A great combination! The chicken was chunks of white breast meat. I usually find that the chicken meat is dry and even difficult to swallow. This was Certainly not the case here! It was surprisingly moist and tender. Unfortunately the meals are rather skimpy and it was expensive. For these two reasons I will not likely return. Although I have to admit that I would be tempted to go back for the mole chicken taco. The food isn’t a good value. (I had a couple of small tacos with good Refried beans and Rice, $20. ) My Friends ordered the salmon salad. It looked very tasty with a generous piece of salmon but it was a small amount of greens. For the price they could be more generous with the salad material. If you are not cost conscious, then you’ll probably be very happy with your experience at this restaurant . The food is prepared wel, the presentation lovely, the ambience very nice, and the Service attentive.
I recently had a delightful lunch at Sol Agave, a spot I discovered thanks to a great recommendation. The restaurant's interior was a welcome escape from the midday heat, with fans and AC creating a comfortable atmosphere. The decor was a cool blend of modern and Western Mexican styles, and the ambient lighting and minimal noise made for a very pleasant dining experience. I ordered the Grilled Salmon Salad, which I requested blackened. The dish was a real treat—a generous portion of fresh greens and sweet berries, complemented by the perfectly cooked salmon. The entire salad was delicious and didn't disappoint. I enjoyed a Corona NA with my meal, a complimentary bowl of chips & some unique fig based salsa & red salsa was included, and the service throughout was attentive and friendly. As a bonus, Sol Agave is conveniently located with free parking, making it a perfect stop if you're ever in the area doing some shopping. I highly recommend it!
We heard about it and went for a 3 birthdays celebration. I had Tamarindo cocktail, very good. I did taste my hubby's Cadillac, the liquors were abit more dominant than the sweet and sour lime juice mix, was good but didn't knock my socks off. The grilled pineapple cocktail was pretty good but overwhelmed with the smokiness. The guacamole sampler was good, the carnitas one stood out but the regular one was ok and the lobster one didn't have lobster chunks and the flavor didn't come thru. My chilean seabass was so amazing, cooked perfectly, flaky and buttery, I could taste the sweetness of the fresh fish. My hubby's steak dish was very good, the steak was tough for this kind of restaurant. A friend got a chile verde pork, the chile verde sauce was very flavorful but abit overwhelmingly tangy if not sour. And another friend's carnitas dish was very robust with flavors. The churos desert was crispy and airy. The butter cake was also good and rich for sure. We got a surprised Tres Leches cake for birthdays, delicious but didnt care for the mexican cinnamon "whipped cream" dollop, preferred vanilla whipped cream and fresh berries. The service was spot on, especially the 2 owners, Alfonso and Rafael, stopped by the table to greet and check on our dining experience. We really appreciated for the personal touch. Definitely will come back.
Initially, I felt underdressed for Sol Agave. It seemed more of a date spot than a family spot, but the restaurant never made me feel out of place. The staff was personable, welcoming and helpful with their recommendations. We ordered their guacamole sampler which consisted of classic guacamole, lobster and carnitas. Out of the 3, we most enjoyed the carnitas guacamole; it was very flavorful. Our waiter recommended their “famous carnitas” so we ordered that along with their enchiladas de langosta. My daughter had their kids New York steak. The carnitas were well seasoned, but we thought it was a little dry. The enchilada had copious amounts of langosta and the sauce didn’t overpower the dish. The side of beans were delicious, but I did wished that the rice was more “Mexican style” instead of just steamed. The New York steak was perfectly cooked. For dessert, we had the butter cake which wasn’t what I expected. It was more crumbly than spongy. The flavors of every component was quite good though. I ordered their margarita flight, of course! The flavors were tamarind, spicy mango, cucumber cilantro and watermelon basil. They were all tasty, but I most enjoyed tamarind and spicy mango. Lastly, we ordered a sipping of tequila, mandala reposado. It was really good and it drank quite smooth. Overall, we would definitely come back to try their other menu items. Total cost for this visit was about $260 with tip.
