I recently had the pleasure of trying their Ube Latte, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The balance between the creaminess and the coffee's robust flavor was spot-on, ensuring that the cream didn't overpower the coffee's natural taste. It was an excellent coffee experience. Thank you for the effort you put into crafting such a delightful beverage!
A wonderful and pleasant place to gather and enjoy the coffee. The egg tart is excellent!
Excellent coffee. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere
Great coffee served inside a very nicely designed vertical park concept building! The views are unique for metromanila. The walkway path is a nice touch. You may choose to stroll from the ground floor to roof deck while sipping your coffee instead of sitting down. Unique experience! Try it.
Coffee was great. The service was a bit slow when more customers came in. It's quite sad that they don't have air-conditioned areas, butI love the variety of tables they have. They have the usual table and chairs. They also stools by the coffee bar. They also have benches with just a small coffee table. They also have stools facing the open air. It's a very friendly setup for solo diners.
We just randomly found this cafe while checking out Merkado. We ordered a matcha latte and Alfie's latte. The matcha was good, but Alfie's latte was way too good! I could taste the good shot of espresso even though the latte already had syrup. It's one of the good cafes we've found randomly, especially with the fresh breeze coming into the cafe.
Tried their iced matcha latte. It was nice, not too strong, but still enjoyable. Just a heads-up, there’s a small surcharge added on top of the drink price. The café itself is maaliwalas and cozy, making it a nice place to sit back and relax after walking around the area. It’s a chill spot if you’re looking to take a breather or have a casual catch-up over coffee 😁
The place is so cute, and pets are allowed! Even if it's an open space, it's breezy. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were delicious. The price is reasonable - there's only one size for their drinks. The orange Matcha is an interesting drink, I suggest you try it. They also have some snacks and coffee grounds available.
My favorite coffee shop in Manila! The orange matcha is so unique, would’ve never thought to combine the two but it’s been my go-to Staff is super friendly and remembers us at this point even though it’s getting busy now and the owner Aimee is always there and is so welcoming Make sure to bring pesos since (at least right now) is GCash and cash only
NEW HANGOUT PLACE! Place: The establishment impresses with its size and spacious layout, offering plenty of Instagram-worthy settings. Abundant seating, including numerous tables and chairs, provides options for your preference. It's a place where every corner is deserving of a photo op. The restroom facilities stand out, top-tier maintenance, cleanliness, and huge mirrors. Food: Our order included Passion Fruit Soda, Cappuccino (with a noteworthy caveat), and Matcha. The flavors of all the items were truly delightful. However, it's worth noting that the cappuccino may catch you by surprise, as it tends to lack sweetness. To enjoy it as expected, you might need to request sweeteners. It's advisable to seek assistance from the staff to clarify certain aspects of the menu. Price ranges from Php 100-200. Atmosphere: 10/10. The lighting helps create a mood for relaxation. The crowd respects one another and noise is very minimal. Choice of song when we we're there is Taylor Swift. It was good. Staff: The staff members are certainly praiseworthy. They are accommodating, showing a cheerful and positive attitude, even when nearing closing time. Their commitment to providing a pleasant experience shines through. Parking: There's a huge parking lot in the basement. It is free if you order or get service from any of the stores in the building. You just need to ask for validation in the counter. A gentle reminder regarding cleanliness and responsibility: It's disheartening to witness some customers failing to uphold proper etiquette when it comes to cleanliness. Practice CLAYGO. While the blame for this lapse isn't entirely on the establishment, it's worth noting that the staff themselves apologized on behalf of inconsiderate customers
Wasn't really planning to go here since the review was low at the time I'm writing this (3.9⭐️ 09/13/25), but I'm glad we tried it because I loooove their Manileño. Just got a bit surprised on the additional price added (which I forgot to ask). Will go back here when visitng Corner House + already listed this Spanish Latte in my faves :)
I like the sun coming in through the roof, its 10am on a Monday. There's not much people. I just wished the music played during our stay is bossa or jazz, to make it classy on a quiet morning. I ordered Alfie's latte, which the barista recommended. It was a 5/5 for me, you can taste the brown sugar with a strong coffee kick. The parmesan toast imhas a unique crunch and flavor too. Will be back to taste other coffees they have. 😊

The ambiance of the place is very nice. Open air seating with spacious tables. Can get full but you can just find a place to stand and chill with your coffee. The beverages need more of that coffee kick. The recipes also need some more mastery as the drinks can be too sweet or too salty or lacking in coffee
Inside this lovely atrium-like building are a row of small cafes and restaurants. This is one of those cafes. I order my favorite egg turt and cafe latte. I asked for the milk to be changed to oat milk today. It's comfortable to read a book in the open space. Unfortunately, it was raining so I couldn't sit on the terrace, but enjoying my coffee with the view is sure to soothe me.
Overall, great experience! - Orange matcha was refreshing and delicious. It had the right balance of flavors: tanginess from the orange and creaminess from the matcha. - Chocolate crinkle cookie was good, but could be more moist. That’s my preference :) - My sister got their shakerato. Not sure what she thought of it, but it looked enticing! - The breeze from the outside felt really nice and cozy.
from when it first opened, really liked their coffee as well as their egg tarts so i always get it. what i don’t like is their matcha, though. it’s really not bad, it’s just not a preference of mine as its on the sweeter side and pre-mixed. would look for an earthier taste when it comes to matcha. but definitely definitely get their coffee!!! and egg tarts. from time to time, i do get their other good pastries too. on seating, they do have lots of seating al fresco-esque style as you enjoy the view or the open air. sometimes there’s good music on blast, too. notably, it’s also one of the establishments that open early in corner house — staying true to its namesake of a.m. espresso hehe
I saw this coffee shop from a tiktok and wanted to visit for the longest time. It is located at the Corner House in San Juan. I loved the vibe of the whole building. It was like a giant maze. The coffee shop was spacious and they have ample seating capacity. We had the alfie latte, dirty matcha latte and some egg tarts. Everything tasted yummy!

Lovely small cafe with great atmosphere. Ordered their non coffee matcha drink and find it surprisingly delicious as matcha taste is just right. Egg tart is a must try!

Place is located inside the CornerHouse. Very cute and aesthetic feel of the place, i have to say despite the afternoon sun, the place was not that hot. Though I would recommend adding some fans? Ordered cake, cookie, and spanish latte!
Before our scheduled run, we decided to get our coffee at a.m. espresso. It wasn’t our first choice, but our original pick was closed for an event. My partner had been here before with a friend, so she was familiar with the menu. The cafe is located inside the Corner House and has an open design with a high ceiling and plenty of ventilation, which helps with the heat. We ordered the following: 1) Alfie's Latte (₱160) / Nothing special — just a regular latte with brown sugar. 2) Coconut Cream (₱170) / The coconut cream was average, but the cold brew was decent. 3) Burnt Basque Cheesecake (₱?) + The cheesecake was hefty and not too sweet. You can add their latik if you prefer it sweeter. a.m. espresso was okay. The drinks weren’t anything special, but the cheesecake was a standout. The open design adds to the appeal, making it a good spot to relax, work, or listen to their playlist. Verdict: Hindi babalikan
food and bev: cookies are average but theyre not expensive anyway too so i'd say it's... fairly priced? service: not the best too, coffee takes 20-30mins atmosphere: the concept is "aesthetic" if thats what youre looking for but your experience would really depend on the weather given it's in an open space with only a huge ceiling fan to help you so if it's summer or humid, expect sweating parking: paid parking at corner house
The open-air theme creates a wonderfully relaxing and inviting atmosphere. My order included an iced mocha, which, while enjoyable, deviated from the traditional coffee flavor I anticipated. It was more akin to a sweet, chocolatey beverage, lacking the strong coffee essence that usually defines an iced mocha. For my meal, I opted for the bolognese. This dish, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark for me. The pasta was somewhat dry and lacked the moist, rich sauce that typically characterizes a good bolognese, leading me to leave it unfinished. In addition to these culinary aspects, I feel there's an opportunity for improvement in the staff's approachability and warmth. While the setting of is undeniably charming, focusing on these areas of improvement, particularly in the quality of the food and beverages as well as in staff hospitality, could greatly elevate the dining experience.
came here for the coffee but fell in LOVE with their EGG TARTS! ordered their spanish latte and while you could taste that the beans were good, it was diabetic sweet. 😏 too, too sweet that it overpowered the whole coffee experience. when I gave them the feedback, they said, “ganun po talaga, matamis” which stunned me a bit. i had to fill it with water and more ice to balance it out. my other friend who ordered their alfies latte said the same thing about sweetness. so maybe it’s how they portioned it out that day idk 🤷🏻♀️ anyway, the saving grace were their EGG TARTS. creamy, eggy, custardy, not too flaky and not too soft that it breaks apart. reasonably priced for about 65 pesos only. i loved it so much and will come back for it!
It was very crowded when I visited. There were plenty of vacant seats but were reserved by customers who were even not there. I loved the concept and location of the store and the coffee was great. I was also able to work because they have power outlets available. It was not air-conditioned but well-ventilated and I just love the fresh air.
love the atmosphere of this place. Spacious with the giant fan to keep the air flowing. For the coffee I got the latik latte but didn't taste anything unique. The matcha latte also taste ordinary and got a bit of synthetic kind of color to it compared to other matcha. Pricewise it wasn't too expensive around 140/drinks not bad. Overall enjoyed but hope they can improve more their drinks.
Place is very aesthetic and very pleasing to the eyes plus there is an overlooking view since A.M. Espresso is at the 2nd or 3rd floor? Staff is ok but not that accomodating. We ordered Ube Latte and Coconut Cream Cold Brew. Ube Latte is very good and tasted more like puto bumbong but the Coconut Cold Brew is not good. The Coconut Cold Brew tasted sour and felt too acidic. We told the barista about this but they just told us that it's normal because the coffee is strong. And we know that's not the case because if a cold brew is a touch acidic or sour, chances are they didn't let it brew for long enough.
Ambience of the place is quite nice, although it can get hot especially in the afternoon. Ordered the orangepresso and it was okay. I liked the idea of combining orange and espresso (i already had this a lot in other coffee shops) but the flavors in this drink didn't blend that well together. Also, couldn't taste much of the coffee.
The cashier at the time we ordered needs some training - no greeting, not friendly, and didn't take note of my request for extra ice. The iced matcha was too sweet for my taste and lacked the strong matcha flavor, but we liked the iced mocha -- it had a strong, slightly bitter mocha kick and not too sweet. It gets crowded at the ordering area because it's right next to the dispatch area. It was nice and breezy at the time we visited but I imagine it can get hot in the area on some days.

Didn't like the egg tarts. They tasted like scrambled eggs in a cup. Dirty matcha with oat latte was good but orange espresso was a miss. Currently the only open cafe in corner house.
Nice open atmosphere to have your sip of Joe. Sad thing is you are surrounded by empty halls and stalls. Their coffee menu is well the worth the price. A different spot where you can unwind and chillax for a brief moment.
The signature brown sugar was decent but you can get much better from say, the kyoto latte from %? The orange espresso was ambitious but the execution failed to really meld the 2 flavors together, you get coffee OR orange. Nice aesthetic and breezy ambiance though, good for a relaxing morning drink, if only the drinks lived up to the ambiance.
Didn’t have any confirmation regarding to my order if I do have any other order. I just tell her my drink and she already punched it sa kiosk, like ate may food pa po ako, the problem is every order is may service fee.
Salted Vanilla Cold brew tastes so bad!!! I cant believe people visit this place. Theyre definitely just squatting there for the vibes. And not to mention, i am surprised this place is even operating! They should be taste testing their products!! I can make better cold brew at home. And ive never even made cold brew!! Do not get their cold brew!!! Just stick to the cookies.. or lattes.
Coffee smells soooo good and they have long queue. Ambiance is wonderful and their place is Instagramable. Ordered Matcha and coconut milk coldbrew. Matcha is good (a bit sweet though). Unfortunately the coconut milk coldbrew is the worst coffee I've drank anywhere else. It totally taste like water. No coffee taste at all.
Coffee quality is inconsistent. Had their Salted Vanilla cold brew about a week ago, and I fell in love with it because of its balanced taste of bitterness from the coffee, sweetness from the vanilla and saltiness from the.. salt? The place has a uniquely chill vibe.. almost feels like you're in a beachside party. So, I excitedly came back with my bf here today and ordered the same thing, the Salted Vanilla cold brew.. i took a huge sip and it tasted very odd. I couldn't taste the coffee at all because there was an overpowering taste of old peanuts.. and a lingering after taste of acidity. I complained about it.. and the staff tried to check their ingredients individually and even made me a new cup.. but it still tasted the same. So, we ended up not drinking it and gave it back to the staff. They just apologized for it and told us that it really tastes like that..
