My favorite spot in Queens. Best drinks, soup and churassco. The outdoor dining is nice with a booth style dining area and your regular seat and table with shade. Highly recommend.
Coffee and shake was tasty. I ate chaulafan it was good but alot so i had to take home. The service was really good. The waitress was sweet and friendly.
Visited this place with a friend and had a great experience! The atmosphere was really nice, the food was delicious, and overall it was a spot I’d definitely recommend. Looking forward to going back again.
I love this little spot. Took my family for a birthday lunch and we ate ti everyone’s desire and it was very fulfilling. I recommend the skirt steak con bolon dish; absolutely Delicious. The servers are lovely people and very kind at all times. I will be here again soon
This is a really good place for typical Ecuadorian eats, the encebollado de pescado was delicious. The mango milk shake was also a cherry on top, nice and sweet. Highly recommend this place!
This establishment has the best margaritas—hands down 😮💨🙏. The customer service is top-notch, and they were incredibly accommodating to my family even past closing time, which truly says a lot. I 100% recommend this spot to anyone looking for a hidden gem in Queens with great food, great music, and an all-around amazing atmosphere.
Absolutely delicious . Lucero our waitress was excellent . I had a bolon with steak and egg and it was very tasty. Priced reasonable and good portion . I was able to share wjth my son . By far this has been one of my favorite Ecuadorian restaurant I been to and will be coming back .
The first time I went to eat here with my family . My coworker recommended me to try. The food was amazing. The encebollado was delicious and cazuela mixta, and the bollo de pescado are to die for. Don't forget to eat the empanadas de viento. The service was excellent. we had Sayda she was very friendly and super fast.
I come here once a month with my family, my husband and kid and we love it here. Especially our Server Katy who has been attentive to us as to my kid always asking how is everything… my son favorite dish grilled shrimp and she made it possible for him… thank you for a delicious meal and service we will see you next time…
10 out of 10 ! Food was Amazing! Great service from Abigail who was quick, Gave the best suggestions and may I add the food was delicious. I came for brunch and left so happy I will be back again. Highly recommend. Reasonable prices for wonderful food and amazing service.
I came here for my birthday and intentionally didn’t mention it, since I just wanted to kick back with my family and enjoy a relaxed lunch. Service was great from start to finish. On Instagram, the place comes across more like a restaurant, but in person it felt more like a club/lounge setup. Not a bad thing at all—just something that caught me off guard at first. That said, our server and food runner were excellent and did a great job making us feel comfortable, which definitely improved the overall experience. Gratuity is already included in the check, and they clearly remind you of this when you approach the register to pay, which I appreciated—no awkward guessing. I ordered from the lunch menu ($12), which is definitely a great value. The soup (sopa de queso) was tasty, and for my main course I chose the seco de chivo. It was good overall, though I wish it had a bit more sauce. Still enjoyable. My kids ordered encebollado, a classic dish. They said it was okay, but to be fair, there was a generous amount of fish in the soup. We also ordered caldo de pata and a ceviche (Jipijapa style), and both were excellent—easily the highlights of the meal. Overall, a solid experience with good food, great value, and attentive service. I’d definitely come back.
Went to celebrate my father’s birthday. (10/28). The food was average, the meat was stale but the fruit juices were great! The kicker was the fact they charge for each takeout box (they did not tell me before hand) and 18% gratuity charge for mediocre service even if the place was not busy. Ridiculous!!! Their justification was that in Manhattan they charge for take out boxes, news flash, they do not! This place is in QUEENS. Even high end restaurants do not charge for take out boxes.
The atmosphere was ok. The food 2/5. I ordered a cazuela, bollo de pescado, a bolín mixto, and 2 empanadas de viento, 2 sodas. I paid $105. I think food quality was not the best, it could be better. I consider it was too pricey in comparison to other Ecuadorian restaurants that offer the same dishes but better taste, flavor, and quantity. The bolon was a disappointment. But the worst was the wait. We had to wait almost 1 hour to have all our food served!! I have never waited so long for food to come. If you know that you have a lot of customers during the weekend, hire more people for those days. Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend this place and I don’t think I’ll be back.
The place looks a little run down for the prices but the portions are large and the food is okay. There are many better Ecuadorian spots in queens. The batidos are good both mango and mora. The food was all salty and nothing too extraordinary. The bandera was all mixed together no separation with parts of it being not good and some parts good. The place really upset me towards the end. I was going in for a small bite since we had eaten a little beforehand. The waitress lied to me repeatedly telling me dishes were small so I over ordered, she tried to hustle me for bottled water, there were many shady people walking in trying to sell you things and the cherry on the top was the cc fees charged and service fee added with then tip suggested separately. The place was very clean despite it being run down and the service was quick but I won’t be returning.
I visited this restaurant tonight with my family of 6 which 2 were toddlers. Our bill was a total of $238 dollars including an 18% gratitude charge. My issue was We had ordered a marisco platter for appetizer Which was not servid until after our main plates were servid. I had thought she just had forgot about it or didn’t add that to the order since it should have been the first plate served. And the ceviche de camarón was so tasteless not even adding salt and lime helped it. $23 dollars lost there I just ended up not eating it at all. I came here with high expectations for an authentic Ecuadorian cuisine. Sorry to say I would not be back here.
The wait for the food was too long, waited more than 45 minutes. The food was not what we expected. I order una sopa de bola but it was more like a vegetable soup very thick with una bola de verde. The meat looked like it was no cooked. Also order arroz de mariscos but didn’t have enough sea food.
Customer service… BAD !!!! You ask questions about the menu and they don’t answer, there is just few people in the restaurant and they are in a rush…. A really bad experience the encebollado doesn’t have any taste at lest for me….5 minutes after I tasted the food… I started feeling sick and stomachache. Please avoid this place
