Asia Delight

Asia Delight has been our go to place since forever. My husband and my kiddos love the food. When we crave for Chinese food this is the place to go. Some individuals will say "oh it's not good!" Uh okay first of all do you cook? Do you cater etc? First of all my mother is a cook and catered for years. She is no longer living. I know what good food taste like. Asia Delight never disappoints and the food is always on point. I love how I can get my veggies which is a plus for me because I am vegetarian! If your ever in the area stop by to get some awesome food.

As a local you should stop by and try it out. The food is here 10/10, love the chicken chow main, chicken fried rice, beef broccoli as my go to. Everything else is just as good

If you are looking for a fresh and hot meal under $10, the spot is good to go. We walked in and in less than 10 minutes three of us were sitting down with our hot meals and eating. The food is hot and fresh and it seems to be continuously coming out of the kitchen while we eat our food. definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.

I come here to get my fried wonton and it's delicious and crispy and it's only a dollar but you get six. I've eaten the fried chicken too and it was delicious also. The customer service is excellent and it does have a few tables to sit down and eat.

Pretty easy place to pull up, grab food, and be on your way. The selection is varied and the combo plates are a solid price. They are quite generous with the portions and the mains are all quite great. I especially love taking the salt and pepper fish home and throwing them in my air fryer- their batter gets so crispy this way! Service is really friendly.

Asia Delight is one of my favorite places to get food for work. The food here is good and very affordable. However the parking situation here is very bad. The restaurant closes at 8:30. So to get a nice selection of food I would recommend showing up before 7:30 pm.

Very fast and cheap, decent especially for the price. We come back here frequently because the portions are so big. Out of all the Chinese places in the area, I recommend this one the most. They mostly taste the same but this place has the largest portioning and lowest prices.

Have been coming here for years. Whenever I want good and fresh Chinese food at a great value, I swing by Asia Delight. It is always my go to place in San Leandro when I don't want to wait in long lines at nearby restaurants.

The portions are BIG (enough to split between 2 people,) but I'm not a fan of their chowmein, I'm sorry but it lacks a little flavor for my taste. Sweet & sour chicken is great though!

The Won Ton Soup. The broth is clear, the noodles are not thick or gummy, and the meat is seasoned perfectly. I prefer kale over bok choy in the soup.

Regular customer, usually dont have any complaints about this spot, they give hefty servings but sometime they give attitude. Other than that, good food.

Good to grab and go. Very generous with portions. If you plan to dine in avoid going between 2 and 4 pm, the seating area is used by the staff who's probably on break and there isn't any customer seating during that time.

The food is really good but I’ve had bad experiences with one particular employee she wears a pink nike hat all the time she’s always really rude and just seems bothered all the time. One time she even snatched a chili sauce out of my hand because I guess it was extra charge but it wasn’t right for her to snatch it out of my hand also one time I ask her if I can pay with half cash and half card she rejected and pretty much yelled pointing at the 20 dollar bill that I also had in my wallet. I still come here cause the foods good but honestly they don’t deserve my money if they will keep treating customers this way

They have raised their prices recently by 30% Sweet/sour chicken/pork etc is hit or miss. Half the the time they over cook it till it rock hard. I mentioned it to the servers but no change. I'm looking elsewhere. No longer worth the drive and gas money.

Really big portions (of rice). Kung paw Gai had only two pieces of chicken and tasted chemically. Not very flavorful. Chicken and beans had no taste whatsoever. Beans were not cooked-almost raw. Price very good for amount of food. 2 combo with soda was less than $9. Service was fast and food was hot. Tables clean.

They count each measly piece of beef to ensure they give more broccoli than beef and the sauce is super salty. They also give more salty attitude than smiles and customer service. The fish is very breaded and has no flavor. The noodles are a hit and miss. Sometimes they're dry and at other times, soggy soft. I am one of those rare customers that prefer great service deliverables over amazing food. On the rare occasions that I get both, I tip like my Mama just cooked my meal and spoon fed me. The ladies behind the counter at this joint will never get a tip from me until they change from salty to sweet.💯

I spent $12.95 on the items that I like they only gave me three pieces of chicken wings versus five pieces of chicken wings for a two item entrée. They even charge me for extra sweet-and-sour even though I spent almost $14 on a plate like really you charge extra for the sweet-and-sour sauce and y’all only give out three napkins and a fork. What type of fast food service is this compared to the one in San Pablo San Pablo has more better customer service than the one in San leandro I’m about to pull. I’m about to post the food up in a minute and show you. It’s all about customer service if you want your customers to come and spend their money, you should give them extra stuff on our plate. It don’t make no sense for me to spend $13 so I gave this Asian delight, fast food restaurant a two store for bad customer service. I will never go there again. I rather go to the one on San Pablo by casino San Pablo. They have better customer service and they don’t charge extra for no sweet-and-sour and no soy sauce and they put more Chinese food in your container more for your buck

They tend to be rude or do things with a bad attitude. And just in case you're wondering how I know that what I mentioned before happened is because we had a couple of friends go with us that do have sight. And they were the ones to tell us what had occurred at the restaurant

I generally don't go here, but tried it today. I had three separate orders. The woman in the pink Nike cap was rude from the beginning. This should have alerted me to turn & leave. The sweet/sour pork was almost gone, so I wanted to wait for a fresh batch. She said "no more." So for 2 orders I got something else. I ordered chicken won ton soup & fried wontons. When the soup came she was going to poke a hole in the top with a dirty toothpick she had on the counter! I stopped her, shocked that such a thing appeared to be normal to her! I paid almost $30 for this order. Its been my experience at other Chinese take out, that condiments came with each order. I requested sweet sauce for the won tons & soup, & 1 each for the other 2 orders, as well as 1 pk of soy sauce for the two orders. This woman told me that each sweet sauce was a dollar & that she was giving me the soy sauce "free!" After a bit of back & forth, she tossed the sweet sauce in my bag along with soy sauce & said I was getting it free! Then when my fried won tons were ready, she just handed me the slip bag they were in, as if I was to carry them barehanded! I asked for a small bag, that they are normally put in & she said "10 cents!" Unbelievable! I asked for a manager & she said "none." I asked her name & she refused. Then she began saying I got stuff for free! I almost put my stuff back on the counter & requested my $$ back. Instead, I paid the 10 cents, grabbed my stuff & left! Never go back to this place again!

They're cool but every time I'm starting to go in there lately they always got an attitude and is different people that end up with that serving my food I am not a problematic person but it's giving we good and don't need your service but yet got people standing in line for like five minutes after you didn't picked out your order

Dont eat here thinking the food is like the "other" Asia Delight in Hayward by old Kaiser. This is a totally different place and does not even compare The food was disgusting, bad service, no selection, did not understand, bad communication skills and the staff was rude. You definitely get what u pay for here not even but not everything is what u see is what u get place was dirty hole in the wall. If u must eat here, make sure u get the window seat with the nice view facing the yuppie, posh restaurant next door that you're gonna wish u ate at instead because the food is/was totally gross. Will never eat here again!

one of the worst places I've ever been I ordered some shrimp with vegetables but they were only vegetables with 3 of the smallest shrimp. I do not recommend it at all but if you still go pay attention when they are serving you your food and you will realize that what I write is true.

attitude!?I had a terrible experience with this place. The staff were rude and unhelpful. I am really disappointed with the service I received. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but the service was completely disappointing. The staff were disorganized and didn't seem to know what they were doing. The food was average at best, and the whole experience was a waste of time and money. Such treatment of customers is unacceptable. I had a really bad experience with this place.

Food was okay, but terrible customer service. They don't hear you despite you speak to them loud and clear and they treated you like YOU'RE the one who don't speak correctly. In addition, they bad mouthed you in their own language, thinking that you won't understand what they're saying when giving poor service.

1.) Food good only when it's hot. Reason for one star is the attitude of one of the servers. She wears this fake smile all the time and seems to be the only one that's rude towards me when I come in. There was another time, I brought a new customer, and they literally served her cold food! Like, I thought this was a steam table? I asked the manager if she could please get hotter food and the manager said she could put it in the microwave at best. The microwave? I can now see why they have a CONDITIONAL PASS on the door. 2. ) First of all youre never supposed to take food a customer has already eaten out of, and take it back behind the counter. The manager woman also just put the new noodles on top of the old stale noodles. I had to ask her to please take out the old noodles. That is a sanitation code violation. The manager eventually was willing to only give her fresh noodles after I practically begged her, but was not willing to replace the other 2 items which clearly had been sitting up for a while. 3.) Optimistically, and wanting to believe in these people, I gave the place another chance. Soon as I walked in, before I could even place my order, that rude woman with the fake smile says things to me condescendingly without my asking, such as "You can't change the food if it's not hot enough". Newsflash, I never asked you about changing the food. This is a new day. 4.) Rude, so I don't go here anymore now I go to another Chinese food restaurant, Happy Garden whom is happy to provide superior service, much better food, and service with a smile. Asia delight needs to work on their customer service and their food sanitation policies. I shouldn't have to beg a place for fresh food or to spend my money, plus I was never keen on the CONDITIONAL PASS they have on the door. I guess now I know why it's there..

Cross-contamination. Watched them use the tongs for the vegetable chow mein be used to pick up shrimp and then put back in the veg chow mein. Asked if they just had vegetables and was told, "yes". They pulled the vegetables from the mixed vegetables with shrimp. For those allergic to seafood..........don't bother coming here because you will end up in the hospital or worse.

This place needs to be closed down. I ate there yesterday and I got severe food poisoning. It’s ridiculous that the health department gave them A they crossed contaminate everything everything is made so quick it’s ridiculous. They’re allowed to keep running shaking my head telling Alameda County needs to do better.

Dark brown and saturated with soy sauce, I asked the lady if I could have hot sauce twice she said it’s in the bag turns out I had none. And then after I payed she threw the bag at me very rude workers they rush you along. Not recommended I will never return and besides the food is awful. On 1/21/25
