Was walking by and good smells lead me to the doors. Once we were seated and I looked at the menu, i was a little worried because Im a broke college student and this food was looking pricey. Me and my girlfriend ended up sharing a large bowl of pho and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was more than enough for both of us and with that mixed with the delicious broth and ingredients, it suddenly made sense why it was so expensive. The actual vibe of the building was very classy and welcoming. If I lived in the area, I could see this being a regular spot to eat.
Might be pricey but it's WORTH it! Soup is very large, and the sandwich bread was warm and fresh. Delicious food great service, the smoothies were a little small but they used fresh fruit. Quality of the food here is excellent, give them a try! There's so many seats too.
Joe’s Pho is a family favorite, I have had several dishes, each one always being exceptional. But the highlight is definitely their pho! They have wonderful service very friendly atmosphere. Great food, clean location. Absolutely would recommend anyone to stop by in the area.
Joe’s Pho is a beautiful, open, large space with plenty of seating. The lady who greeted me was absolutely so kind, polite and never stopped smiling. She checked on me several times to make sure I was ok as it was my first time. As soon as I sat down, someone brought me water and rice cakes to snack on. Their menu has plenty to choose from. I got the grilled chicken plate. Definitely worth $18, so much food, and came with a soup. I also got a salted cream cold coffee which was delicious. The food was delicious and fresh. Thank you!
Hands down the best pho I have had in the East Bay. We ordered 3 chicken dishes and each one hit the spot. I truly couldn’t stop slurping the bone-in chicken pho. Definitely need to come back and try their extensive menu. My mom was with me and she dug in to the fried chicken as well! So definitely mom approved! And can I just say the whole restaurant was so clean including the restroom. Shout out to the staff for being so courteous and bringing us everything piping hot! You have to go to Joe’s time and again!!
I first ate here 3 weeks ago and the food was 🔥🔥🔥!! I got the beef rib 🍜 and the meat was falling off the bone! When you’re seated, they’ll serve you free fried shrimp chips, give you a wet towel to clean your hands with (which I thought was kind of nice). I had Thai Tea for $1. It was great! Then I came again with my son right after the gym and right when they opened. First off, the server didn’t understand English, so I told him I want the food to go (5x), he just repeated the number of the dish we ordered. Then my soup arrived (same rib pho), I asked them to pack it up to go and they did. Then we waited another 20 mins for my son’s order (fried chicken) and it arrived, but served on a plate. I told them I wanted all the food to go. They apologized and it was fine. 4 Star rating bc my rib was still hard. The whole thing fell off the bone together, but it wasn’t soft like my first.
Really nice Pho! Crispy tofu is also good, service is fast
Joes pho has a special place in my memories. Good food and consistency. They are always serving samples of their dishes to appreciate their customers. Fast service and nice modern payment options.

Safe area, food was good, and I received nice service. I've ordered here in person and via delivery, still great quality.
They have a door foot claw thing on the bathroom door so you don’t need to touch the handle to open it when leaving the bathroom. Oh, and the food is good.
Always excellent food, flavorful and fresh. Gets our order right every time, including specific instructions.
I have had a really good experience. Good food, the service good they take care of you with a smile. Nice music not to loud.
My husband and I wanted Pho and decided to try the oxtail Pho. The meat was plentiful and the broth was really good with the added sauces. We'll be back again. Thanks!
Great food and portion, worker was also very attentive and somehow knew I wouldn’t want the tea and gave me ice water before I even asked. Unlucky about the exploitation of the workers as they are great, hopefully they get their fair share from the trial since they deserve it
Delicious Vietnamese food, the have a good pho broth compare to different Vietnamese places. You must try their Vietnamese sandwiches as ND their unbelievable Thai Ice Tea. The offer complementary free shrimp chips. They are fast and waiting list is minimum or none. Vermicelli noodle salads with different type of protein it's a must.
I came here two weeks ago and my vermicelli dish was delicious, the portion big There's plenty of tables and free parking. Today, I went for take out and they forgot to pack the accompanying sauce, so if you order take out, make sure they pack the it!
Came here for the first time for a late lunch on a Monday. Not busy at all, so able to get a table immediately. Ordered the regular size Special Combination Oxtail Pho @ $18.95, shrimp crepe appetizer (forgot the name, note picture in the menu, but not listed with a price as an item, $15), and a peach fruit tea drink @ $6.50. I found the food to be really pricey, but everything was above average. I will stop in again and try some of their other items. The restaurant is large with a nice modern casual feel and can accommodate large gatherings, which is nice...very family friendly. There is a sports bar area with a large TV. Service was on point, and the food came out immediately. If you want your appetizers to come out first, you need to let them know. In my case, my soup came out so fast, and I waited a little bit longer for my appetizer. No big deal, but note, just in case you prefer your appetizers first. It's located in a small strip mall with lots of other eateries, which can be difficult to park, especially in the evenings on the weekends. Do not leave anything valuable in your car!

I order my beef combination uncooked noodles. Plus I got the buy one get one free for the sandwich. When I got my order to go, I didn’t have the shrimp chip or veggies for my pho. What a disappointment when I got home.
I got the chicken vermicelli bowl and it was just okay/average to me. The portions were big and filling but the flavor needed a bit more of a kick even with the nuoc cham (fish sauce) poured over it. Nice size to the place as it has 20+ tables and easily seats multiple big groups at a time. Its a very wheelchair friendly place as there are tons of space between tables. The music they play can get obnoxiously loud,I wish they lowered the volume a bit. Wasn't too crowded on a Friday afternoon but can get busy in a hurry. Parking is aplenty as this is in the San Leandro Plaza area. I might grab a smoothie from this place if I were in the vicinity but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back to dine in again.

This place has gone downhill since they got a new owner. We ordered Banh Canh and Bun Bo Hue and they were terrible. Do NOT eat at this location. 1.) Banh Canh is overpriced as they charged you $20+ for a bowl of udon with 2 shrimps, 2 sausages and 2 meat balls. There explaination was "everything was made by hand so it's expensive". Wth? 2.) The broth is salty and the beef rib was rubbery as hell. I can't even chew it at all. Guess I'll just go to the original location from now on. Really disappointed.
Edit: DO NOT GO HERE!! They have fraudulently changed the tip amount before this place is horrible and dangerous! Edit: Be careful with takeout, once got disgusting meat balls and raw beef. And the spicy selection is EXTREMELY oily. The drinks are great but the food is VERY hit or miss. The dine in experience was good but take out is iffy. Review changed from 5 to 3 stars. Pho An Hoa is another San Leandro pho restaurant and they're extremely consistent and have very good food. Original review: The food was shockingly good! Genuinely one of the best restaurants i've ever been to! The service was very good and the servers were helpful with the menu and made sure we got everything we needed. Best Thai Tea i've ever had.
I ordered my meal thinking duck would be fresh. It was very stale and dark. I can tell it was not eatable. I requested to cancel or change plate. Unfortunately they still charged me the plate i did not eat.

I was very excited to try this pho and I was sadly disappointed. The meatballs had a very weird taste and texture and the rest of the meat was completely raw. I’ll say the noodles and broth were good and it was decently spicy but the weird textures and raw meat made it hard to enjoy. It was on the expensive side too.

I bought chè from this place, and I live just 5 minutes away. By the time I got home, the mung beans and coconut milk were already sour and clearly spoiled. Even when I picked up the order at the store, I noticed a strange smell, but I assumed everything would be fresh since it was just prepared. I didn’t expect the food to already be spoiled, especially from a professional kitchen. I wasted $8 on something completely inedible. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience here. The last time I ordered mì quảng, I actually found a fly in my bowl. I still decided to give this place another chance, hoping it was just a one-time mistake, but now I’m extremely disappointed. Food safety is not something to take lightly. Serving spoiled food puts customers’ health at serious risk. I hope the owner takes this issue seriously because this level of carelessness is unacceptable.
