Amazing Chinese food! We loved everything we tried: Seaweed salad, dumplings, fried rice and orange chicken- everything was very delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Super kid friendly - the atmosphere is ok for a regular day, nothing fancy but you have everything you need. Can’t wait to come back! I decided to be silly with the pictures since everything was so good!
Got to check this spot out. It came on my Instagram feed. At first I had ordered it through DoorDash but they ran out of a food that was a fried chicken so I did not get to try it. So I drove down and got to check out the restaurant. It's a small establishment a little bit bare but not too flashy. The service was really fast and they were very nice. Since they didn't have fried chicken she recommended me the sea salt fish. It was really good and a great selection. And since they were out of fried chicken they switched it over the fish was a little bit more but she covered it. That was really nice of her. The prices are worth how much you get. And there are very sweet and very nice and if I need anything as it was it to go order they took care of it. The food is really amazing and hits the spot. Definitely if you have time check it out and look it up. A good family restaurant.
This resturant used to offer MaLaTang (Chinese mini hotpot) exclusively which our family love. Recently they pivoted to a traditional Chinese home style cooking restaurant. I was skeptical about the transition but decided to give it a try. To our surprise, we love the food even more! Now this is our go to dinner place after my kid’s after school class. If you enjoy Chinese home style food, this is a hidden gem. Regarding the service, the place was run by a family and it feels going home each time.
Finally found a perfect place for a quick to-go lunch. The crispy salt & pepper tofu was super crunchy and flavorful, even for takeout. The Chongqing spicy chicken had the perfect kick, spicy, and loaded with flavor 🔥 Definitely ordering again!
great food!! the portions were really nice and big and the waitress is super sweet. the lunch special during the week is a great deal
My new favorite place! The broth is so satisfying - it is so flavorful and has just the right amount of numbing spice. Highly recommend the beef bone broth soup base with either medium spicy or spicy. The Szechuan spicy base is good too! You can choose from a variety of meats, seafood, veggies and noodles. Pick whichever ingredients you want as long as it meets the minimum 0.8 lbs (they charge you by weight) The service is top notch here. The staff is super friendly and they go above and beyond! It’s so good that we came back a week after trying it for the first time!
I have been to Master Gua for two times and the food is delicious. I love the Malatang, spicy soup based mini hotpot, and my kid loves the non spicy one with noodles. A good place for both kids and adults. It is also great that we could choose any meat or vegetables we like.
I would recommend Tasty Kitchen! Great staff good food! They are open only for a couple of weeks and they have some good promotions! I would recommend eating at this place.
I love this place. It's a make your own Asian style soup. It's honestly the best soup I've ever had. My favorite broth is the Tam yam. It's a Thai style broth with ginger and lemongrass flavors. Seriously the best soup broth I've ever had in my life. My favorite to add is the fish they provide. It's so fresh and mild tasting. I always make my soup with udon noodles, beef, spinach, fish, mushrooms, and bean sprouts with the tom yam broth. Comes out to about $16 for a huge bowl of soup I usually can't finish in one sitting. The price is based on weight of items so be careful putting too much of heavy items if you're worried about price. There are many noodles to choose from and lots of other options. They can also stir fry ingredients with rice if you don't want soup. If you're scared of spice then don't get it or make sure you get mild. Their medium is quite spicy. It's seriously the best soup I've ever had I recommend coming to this place if you want fantastic soup. I love how I can make it exactly like how I want it. Service is super fast too you'll get your food in just a few minutes after you pay. And the people who work here are really nice.
Great value combo with 2 main dishes and 1 soup. Food is tasty and service is very friendly!
This is the best Malatang I had in the bay area!! The soup bases are all home made and you can definitely taste the difference compared with other stores. We tried both Tom yum and Bone soup and they both taste delicious. The service is great and the boss is really nice 👍 Highly recommend
Great new hot pot option in the neighborhood! The place has all the fresh food options presented in a simple way. Will come back soon.

Love coming here on the weekends. Love building my own soup. Customer service is always 👌 very detailed to their customers👍

FYI: Not a Malatang spot anymore. Google gotta fix that. Really really good food. Orange chicken was nice and crispy, good cuts and well trimmed. Cumin beef was tasty, well spiced, and had a good amount of fresh ingredients. Chow Mein was really nice as well. I think it was chicken and minced pork belly. Pork belly was well spiced and the noodles werent too oily. Cabbage had some nice browning on it. Steamed dumplings were good. I cant think of anything specific to say but definitely tasty and fresh. Cute place. Definitely a family run place, nice and cozy. Will be my go to when I want Chinese. Highly recommend you give it a try.
Tasty kitchen was a delight to eat at. We loved the family style cooking atmosphere. All the dishes especially the mopodoufu were just like the way my grandmother used to make it in GuangXi Prov. I’ll definitely go back for more in the new year!

The food was very good and flavorful. More authentic dishes and served very hot. Will definitely go back again. A plus is that they also have catering too.
NO LONGER A MALATANG SPOT food was good, ordered the mapo tofu(it was spicy but not numbing spicy), beef and broccoli, and pork and seaweed soup. we enjoyed the soup the most. overall had a good experience.
I stopped by for dinner and the staff was so nice and friendly! overall, I would say that their food options to add into hot pot is plentiful but i was looking for udon noodles which they did not have! The soup that they provided is very different which I appreciated aka tom yum - which is not common for these individual bowl style. but I must say that the soup was a little bit more salty overtime than I would've liked! I would definitely stop by again and id say the ambiance is very casual and chill. tips: - mainly street parking or metered parking within the plaza itself - one unisex bathroom available - good for friends and family! - hot pot or chinese bbq available
For $14.99 per pound, you can choose from a wide range of fresh veggies, meats, seafood, and noodles. They have different soup bases and spice levels too. The sauce bar lets you create your own flavors. The staff is super friendly and even gave us free fruit after our meal.
It was my first time here, and I was pretty pleased with my visit. The service was prompt. He explained how everything worked and the soup base choices. The fresh was bar was well stocked, and the veggies and meats looked fresh. There were not a lot of choices on the veggies or meats, but you got the basics. The spicy marinated beef was really good. I was also very happy they had quail eggs.

Build your own bowl of soup. Grab a bowl and fill it with a wide variety of vegetables, meats, fungi, rice cakes, tofu, etc. pick your soup base and then with a few minutes your soup comes to your table. Also have skewers for BBQ.
It ok for a quick meal, they have limited choices there, their tomatoe soup is ok, but they put a dash of tomatoe sauce/ketchup on top as garnish just look weird and made the soup very thick. It's $14.99/lbs of food. The seating is alright they didn't put much effort in to it. The service is good, limited servers but the restaurant is very quiet so probably don't need extra servers. They give free orange slices and tea with your meal.
