My first time at Dave’s and clearly I picked the best location to try it! Food was super fresh and service was fantastic. Quincey provided an amazing experience!!

The food was really good and the service was great. I didn’t have to wait very long. Inside of the restaurant was very nice and clean and the artwork on the walls was honestly amazing. I don’t know why other people rated them so low.

First tried Dave's Hot Chicken in Las Vegas about a month ago and now they opened one up in the city I live in. My boyfriend went there and ordered our food. He said there was a lot of people but the lines moved quickly. Good to know they were prepared for opening night on a Friday too. Again, the food was pretty yummy.... It turns out though I can really only eat one tender as it's so filling with the bread and the fries included as well. So, I do say, share food. I'm pretty obsessed with their pickles too. Idk what it is... but the pickles are just yummy here. There mac and cheese was creamy and okay.... needed a little more flavor I think. .. But I do think we'll be going here when we are too lazy to cook. I hope they keep up the good work here.

First time coming to San Leandro and ended up having lunch here. Food was amazing plus the service from the counter( Bev or Beth )was also awesome and super friendly. Atmosphere is nice and clean !

I went for my first time the other day! I met a very helpful young man named Richard, he was kind and helped me pick what to order; and even gave me a free drink since it was my first time! That small act of kindness has earned my service, I can not wait to come back soon

Stop by the this location which is in the heart of Downtown San Leandro. Very positive experience with the food and service. Parking can sometime be a challenge...worth the drive.

I had never ordered from dave's hot chicken before and decided to have door dash deliver their food for 20 of my students. My order was accidentally cancelled the morning of delivery, so in contacting the restaurant directly, i spoke with Shawn the manager, who not only assured we could and would get our food within the hour, but he followed up with me later that afternoon to make sure we received the order and that we were happy with our food. the food was great and the customer service was excellent!! Thank you Shawn!! We will be ordering from you again!

We decided to try Dave’s Hot Chicken in San Leandro before heading to the brewery next door, and it did not disappoint! We ordered Dave’s #2: 2 Sliders with Fries and added cheese. You can choose your spice level, so we went with one HOT and one EXTRA HOT. Both sliders were delicious, crispy, and packed with flavor. The fries were really tasty too! I think I might go for their Reaper spicy level next time. It’s a great spot for a quick meal and to satisfy your craving for a spicy chicken sandwich.

As a lover of spicy fried chicken sandwiches, this ranks as one of the top. Spicy, crunchy, and not the bougie kind of fried chicken sandwiches you find at other places. French fries are solid as well. I wouldn’t recommend the side of coleslaw - it’s super tiny.

I love Dave’s Hot Chicken so much and I go some areas. But I visited here for dinner because I want to get spicy chicken. I ordered extra hot then I took a bite, it was not that spicy as I expected. I remember it was spicy in different location but I think it’s my brain didn’t triggered any heat. However, this is still great chicken sandwich and French fries.

Wow this place is amazing!!!! Every slider is packed with a flavorful punch!!! Be warned the levels of spiciness range from low to extreme. I respect Dave’s Hot Chicken for keeping their menu affordable to the community, thank you for that. The sliders are cooked to order, very juicy, flavorful and HUGE! If you are not adding honey to your slider you are eating it wrong!!!! Eat the slider with honey folks, you will experience a powerful majestic energy within your mouth as you devour the monstrous slider. Love this place!!! To the owner: I suggest adding some music to the place.

The fries were flavorful and delish! I loved the pickles! The mac & cheese was pretty darn good for “fast food”! The chicken wasn’t dry! The flavor was ok. The sauce was alright too, I’m not sure what the hype is about… The heat! It can be HOT! But it is dry heat, you’ll feel it burn your stomach! Lol. Overall, I would be back if I am craving for some southern chicken sandwiches! 🤤

The crinkle cut fries are well-seasoned too. You have the option to choose spice levels from no spice, light mild, mild, medium, hot, extra hot, and reaper. Once you pay after ordering, they will call out your number and the waiting time was about 15 minutes. They do take credit card, debit card, and Apple Pay. Overall, we highly recommend coming here if you have a soft spot for chicken tenders or spicy sliders. The house sauce they use on the chicken is so delicious and the seasoning on the fries is awesome. You can also request for their special “Dave’s House Sauce” which is amazing. They don’t take online orders, so you need to be present physically either at drive-thru or at the restaurant itself to order food. They serve HALAL chicken and the halal certificate is placed near the paying counter.😉😍☺️

It's not overly flavorful albeit salty, and that is why the Dave's sauce which has a hit of honey mustard aoli, plus a drizzle of honey really balances out each bite. Wow, wow, wow my mind was blown. The crinkles are nice and well seasoned and crunchy! Something that gets missed on crinkles. The Mac and cheese- is okay at best with a very light cheese flavor. I wish it was a bit more thick in consistency and had a bold cheesiness to its bite. Being that the menu is limited I would hope all items are perfectly crafted, but the sliders are a hit. I would just say that at $15-20 a person for a slider, fries and a side seems insane.

I had an amazing experience at Dave’s Hot Chicken thanks to Raquel! From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, friendly, and super patient while I decided what to order. She explained the spice levels clearly and made sure I picked something I’d love. The food was fresh and delicious, but what really stood out was Raquel’s positive attitude and great customer service. We got sliders, spicy and medium. The chicken was spiced really well and the chicken breast was tender. The pickles, slaw and bread were GREAT too. It’s SALTY!! Get an extra water to help yourself out later, or if you get the spicy sandwich.

Service was great atmosphere was phenomenal I really liked Marcus and Stephanie they were really good servers they knew the menu well and they helped me pick great selections The only thing I was upset about is that I ordered two meals and a mac and cheese on the side but I didn't receive the mac and cheese being that the food is so high I hate when restaurants forget something that I ordered that's a big pet peeve of mines.

I wouldn't call it the best fried chicken place ever. But it's pretty good. Better than Wingstop. Much better than their neighbor, Wing Fiesta. It's worth a try. Give it a shot. See if you like them. Good but expensive. $17 for 2 tenders. Mild is not really mild, barely has any spice so I would suggest going up. 11pm on a Sunday, the lights kept shutting off for some reason.

The food was ok. Prices are insane. The request for a tip is crazy. And the person who took my order ruined my experience with her attitude. Not friendly at all and just dreading being there. Her attitude stinks. Came in at 9:30 pm. Terrible experience and will never come to any daves again. How are u charging me 45 bucks for 2 combos and requesting a 15% tip as the lowest possible tip on top of having a terrible attitude 😂.
