Came here for lunch and my husband asked for his recommendation, and he pointed to the swordfish tacos. Husband got that and I had a nibble, I don't really like fish, but wow it was really tasty. My burger was really good too. Friendly staff, hot quick and delicious food.

Fish and chips were yummy! As well as the chicken strips my daughter had. But the highlight was ther owner. He did not hesitate to feed a hungry man whom asked for food. I will continue to support this business!

I haven’t eaten here, however during a summer trip to San Luis Obispo my wallet was stolen. Months later I received a letter in the mail from this restaurant with my drivers license inside. I’d just like to thank them! We will be stopping by on our next visit!

Good food, we had the fish and chips combo, the fish was lightly breaded, flaky and tasted good, the garlic bread was good, the chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Clam chowder was OK, the service was great, food came out quickly and the owner was very nice.

One of my favorite places for after the gym. Fish and chips are good and so are the burgers, but the real star is their chicken wraps. They’re ridiculously good and my partner and I are there at least twice a month

The fish tacos are fantastic. My wife thoroughly enjoyed a seared ahi salad. The owner is super kind and accommodating. The portions were generous, more than what we ordered. Recommended.

Excellent fish and chips, fish tacos and nice specials menu. Folks working there took good care of my kids with polite, friendly service and lots of smiles during shaved ice. Definitely a nice little place.

If you’re craving some Hawaiian(ish) food, in SLO, this is a good choice. The seared Ahi salad is fresh and delicious. The balsamic vinaigrette is tasty. I usually add avocado, like I do with so many dishes. The only thing missing, for me, is some sriracha hot sauce. I should keep some in the car, for times like these. lol Plenty of indoor dining space, with some outdoor seating available. Great service and consistent flavor. Overall, worth the price.

I’m not local I live in Santa Maria but I work locally at Quailty tinting and signs my job offers MVP lunches and when I get the opportunity I take my lunches here without a doubt the food here is TOP NOTCH ! I get the California burger and spicy chicken sandwich and 10/10 the food is always on point ! Fries are crispy ! Ranch is 10/10! I love this place customer service is always perfect I love eating here and appreciate the quality food 100% recommended

I moved away from San Luis Obispo about 5 years. I have yet to find a place that makes Fish n Chips like Lahainas. Each time I come down to visit I will usually immediately go visit.

Crispy, flaky, hot and not too oily and that honestly applies to the fries too. Plenty of sauces including malt vinegar with no upcharge. Prices where reasonable and the guy working was very friendly (possibly owner/operator?). The atmosphere is nothing special and they're not trying to be, but I gave 5 stars because of the ample shaded outdoor seating. Good place for fish and chips and among my go tos if it's not a Friday (Aloha cafe's are delicious as well, but greasier).

The Lahaina Burger is really good with pineapple, ham, red onions, etc.. The fries are very generous, very thick similar to steak fries. Love the generous onion rings. And the red snapper Cajun tacos were really delish!! 😋 They have a nice outdoor patio with red umbrellas.

A decent place to grab lunch. Almost everything is fried - so baware of that. Their wraps are decent and their clam strips and fish 'n chips are good. Stick with the basics and you'll be good. Don't go here for a healthy meal. Go here for a decent quick lunch.

Great food. Not Hawaiian at all except for pineapple on some items. The burgers are yummy. The fish and chips are yummy. The shrimp is yummy. That's all I've tried but so good I keep coming back. My friend said they had 1 bad time there out of 30. I have had 0 of 20. Try a few things here and you'll find something you love. It is a little pricey though.

This simple counter service spot has a lot of basic and tasty things. The folks working there were very friendly. I tries the fried fish and shrimp and both were good. The tarter sauce was nice and tangy and the cocktail sauce had plenty of horseradish. The price for what I got was really good. I was totally stuffed with seafood for $15

We had great fish and chips. The breading was unique and delicious. The fish was a bit dry, probably not straight from the ocean. Overall we had a good lunch.

Smells good in here. Menu looks expensive. We ordered strawberry smoothies and we're disappointed. $6 for mediocre tasting small, yes $6 for about 10oz smoothie. I'll try the food, if I don't just keep eating next doors Mexican food.

I had not been to Lahaina's in years, so I was excited to eat there today. I ordered a small fish, no chips, got coleslaw instead. I was SO disappointed! The fish was way overcooked and tough. I never experienced that at this place before! The coleslaw was literally drenched with dressing, making it very gross. I ate a few bits after trying to blot some of the dressing with napkins. I don't know if it's just the Sunday cook, or what? But I won't be back.

Sorry but definitely a 2 star taco. All around super bland food. I guess the fish and chips is what to go for which I’m sure they nail but just know that if you get anything else on the menu it’s going to have the same flavors going on. Fried food with some kind of mayo based sauce. The interior is just a tv playing food network and some fruit flies.

The food was a chore to eat! Tasteless, boring and definitely not appetizing. Some salt would have helped these dishes. While I appreciate freshly cooked fish and chips, it was all tasteless. Even the chowder was bland. The mere addition of salt would have improved the taste of the over priced dull food.

I got the ahi salad and the hubby got the wahoo fish tacos. The ahi was overcooked with no seasoning and did not complement the bed of greens, mango, and mandarin oranges that it was served with. The dressing was boring. We chose this place for the fish tacos. Super boring! The tortillas were not cooked, and there was hardly any flavor. No passion in the cooking. With such exotic and expensive fish, you’d think there would be some thought into seasoning it. I give this place 2 stars because the service was prompt and friendly. Will not come back, especially for the price offered

Usually Lahaina's is very, very good with amazing burgers especially, but I went there recently and the food didn't seem like how it usually is. It was probably because they were very busy, but the burgers seemed more dry and they forgot some things. But overall, usually, they are amazing and I would definitely recommend. My favorite place for a burger. Edit: I went there today and was sadly surprised at the service. We ordered and the cashier was not very friendly, taking our order VERY quickly. I was about to add something to the order when she suddenly told us the price and had us pay. When we got our food (we ordered to go), they forgot to put fries in the order, and I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, but the bacon was underdone and I was advised not to eat it.

We try this place every 5-7 years hoping it will get better. Disappoints each time. Generally the issue is that nothing has any favor. No salt, no spices, soggy and the quality of ingredients don’t make up for the lack of favor. See you again in 7 years…

Flies everywhere, ordered the fish and chips. Super frozen fish no flavor. Paid $18 for three small pieces and fries that tasted bland. I don’t leave reviews often so this says a lot

Food sucks. Frozen costco fish pieces thront into the frier. And very expensive for what it is.
