It's definitely worth the price. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated and cozy. My and I family loved the whole experience! Even the neighborhood is one of the safest places in the city.

It remains as wonderful and enjoyable as our first experience here. This time we had the opportunity to meet the chef, Taurino Galván. Many of the ingredients and the bread used at the restaurant come from the Huesteca region of the state of San Luis Potosí, which explains the unique flavors found in the meals. Chef Taurino explained the different meals and ingredients to us which made me appreciate the food from the Huesteca region even more. This restaurant is featured in the 2023 edition of Guía México Gastronomico, listing the top 250 restaurants in the country. This is the only restaurant in the state of San Luis Potosi mentioned in this guide. The food remains very flavorful; the plates feature generous portions and the service remains excellent. We have eaten out at several places in this part of the city but we come back to Rincón Huesteco every time. We plan to bring our friends from other parts of the country to this restaurant to experience the unique flavors, warm hospitality and beautiful murals featured in this restaurant.

Taurino was an extraordinary host, and the food was exceptional. It is the best food from the huasteca I've had in San Luis Potosí city, and potentially some of the best food I've had in the city overall.

The food was simply phenomenal, we were there for breakfast we had the combination that had a little of everything. the highlights were the tamal huasteco (sacahuil) and the meat. most try it if you traveling

This place just feels like real mexico. It's not flashy for tourists, but the food, seriously delicious. Best i have had since ive arrived and ive had a lot of tacos people. I got the Huastecada, can't go wrong here

The attention is good, average prices. Although the flavour of the food is not as good as it should be

The food it’s good and also the service, but they do the thing where they leave a basket of breath in the table’s center, I ate one and charged for the whole basket, usually this is part of the “freebies” offers in restaurants, I always dislike this practice and considered it dishonest

Food was not so good, Asado was way too salty. Bocoles had a funny taste.

This place it’s more for tourists.. so if you wanna eat like a local go to the Cabaña Huasteca, it’s close to this place and has better food, prices and service!
