¡Me encanto! Definitivamente debes venir a "cenaduria Alebrije!
Cenaduría Alebrije is one of those places where you can relive the flavors of Mexican cuisine, with its exquisite dishes and the quality of the service. They explained the preparation of each dish to me, but the highlight was their mole, a family recipe passed down through generations. Without a doubt, it's a must-visit if you're from San Luis Potosí, visiting, or just passing through.
A place known only to locals. Impossible to find without a recommendation or a ride. Authentic, traditional Mexican food. A really interesting place. No posing!
Chef Basilio is a true chef. Very few people know Mexican food like he does. The service is perfect, the same chef shows up at most tables, and the atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, and relaxed. 100% recommended. Delicious food at a bargain price.
A magical place ✨ To start, we ordered the mini tostadas and baby corn on the cob as a starter, and for the main course, the chard tamales, birria queka, and blue corn tlacoyos. And for drinks, we were given a mezcal tasting and a delicious Jamaican water 👌🏻😊 For dessert, we ordered a sampler of homemade ice cream 🍨 delicious 👌🏻 I recommend making a reservation
In my experience, I haven't been to this place, but it's truly a gem! The service is 100% recommended, and the food is delicious. The desserts are simply spectacular: the passion fruit ice cream and the mango ice cream are delicious. The tuna toast is delicious, and the staff were always very friendly.
What they serve here is a true experience. The food is delicious and very different from the typical concept of a diner. The service is impeccable, the chef is very friendly and constantly comes to the tables, telling you the history of the place, his life, and how everything has a purpose. He's such a down-to-earth and charismatic person. The mezcal they offer is also delicious, and each space has a story to tell. It's an excellent place to go for dinner, but you must make a reservation because the place is very small and famous. Prices average $160-$200 per dish, which I consider reasonable since they're not traditional dishes, although the portions are a bit small for my taste. Another plus is that this restaurant is the only one I've seen that has a menu in Braille, which is super inclusive on their part.
Tucked away in a lively cultural neighborhood, this restaurant delivers a dining experience like no other, blending ancient pre-Hispanic ingredients and cooking methods with contemporary culinary flair. It’s a bold and creative fusion, seamlessly merging the old with the new, while honoring the deep culinary roots of Mexican traditions. The service is impeccable. Excellent.
What a gem of a place! If you're looking for more than just dinner, this restaurant in San Luis is the experience you should have. From the moment you walk through the door, everything is designed so you can enjoy not only the food, but also Mexican culture and traditions. It's the only restaurant in San Luis that deserves my 5 stars without a doubt. The chef's culinary offering, with his authentic and creative Mexican touch, is inspiring. Furthermore, the personalized service, along with the friendliness of the service team, make the experience warm and welcoming. One of the things that surprised me most was that, in addition to enjoying incredible dishes, they told us the history of the restaurant and immersed us in the Day of the Dead traditions. Trying three complimentary mezcals, each one better than the last, was a touch that completed a perfect evening. They always offer them to customers! Although they didn't have the dessert I wanted, they offered me a selection of ice creams that left me speechless. The unique flavors, such as Day of the Dead flowers, chili, corn husk ash, and mandarin orange, are something you won't find just anywhere. The ash ice cream was a true revelation. This place not only satisfies the palate, but also transports you to an experience steeped in history and tradition. Congratulations to the chef and the entire team; I'm sure they will continue to win hearts and palates throughout Mexico and beyond. Don't hesitate to visit this restaurant; I assure you, you'll want to come back!
I went because of the good reviews I saw in other posts and I wasn't disappointed...the food is delicious and the place has a homey feel 😊 The decor is lovely and the customer service is excellent. This time I went for breakfast, but I will definitely return to try the dishes they sell for dinner. For breakfast they only offer chilaquiles and menudo. Breakfast includes some fruit, the main dish, and either café de olla or soda. Good price, great flavor, and great service 😊
Everything was excellent. You're greeted very warmly, the food is delicious, and the place is beautiful. Coming here is truly an experience everyone should try in their lifetime; it definitely leaves you with wonderful memories. I'd just like to thank the place for such excellent service ☺️🫶✨
I've been to this diner several times. It never disappoints. This time, I took the opportunity to bring some family members. -They always give you a mezcal tasting. -They were attentive and warm in serving us. -The food was delicious, but I noticed they've changed the menu and some dishes are no longer available. -I think the desserts here are incredible. If you have the chance to try one, don't hesitate. On this visit, we tried the mini churros; they were freshly made and delicious. It was worth every bite. -During dinner, we ordered flautas, a quesa birria, and a birria plate. The presentation was good, as was the flavor.
The place is very beautiful, with great decor and a very welcoming atmosphere. The service is excellent; they clearly prioritize it. It's a unique experience that makes you want to return with more people. The food and drinks are delicious and beautifully presented. Overall, it's a place you'll definitely want to go back to.
A very different experience... It wasn't like going to any other restaurant... I really appreciate the attention from Basi and his team... An experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. Who, at this point, greets their customers personally??? They give you an explanation of the tasting drink you chose, in our case the Mezcal Rada de Oro... And that opened our senses to enjoy dinner... Highly recommend the birria quekas and the chard tamales 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 and their delicious pot coffee!!!!
The food is delicious and has a relaxed atmosphere but the truth is it is expensive since my tamale cost me $190 pesos. That was one of the best moles I have ever eaten in my life but I do consider that $190 is very expensive for a tamale and my lemonade $70. I think that for a place like a very cute fondita the prices are expensive but other than that everything is excellent.
The birria with its lemon and salt is delicious. The pastor pizza tastes like pure pineapple 😅 The birria quesadilla is highly recommended 🤤 They like to put mayonnaise on many dishes. The service is very friendly, and they give you complimentary house mescaline. The wait time is a bit long. The place is nice, but it could use more thought.
