Small, elegant and a good time! Ambiance: Charming Service: professional, no issues Food: -Mac n Cheese -Grilled cheese and tomato soup This place is a nice wine bar with some good food options. San Elijo (the area) is beautiful and worth driving too if you haven't checked it out! Highly recommend!!
Loved this place. I love variety and they offer great selections for both food, wine, and beer! Loved the wine flight! You can pick 3 or 5 selections off the menu, anything $19/glass and below, for wine by the glass choices (red, white, sparkling, etc). The tapas choices are amazing. Our waiter recommended the pesto Mac n cheese with chicken…wowza!!! He was spot on. We also tried the turkey/pear sandwich with salad. Also amazing. I had the large wine flight (5 choices of 3oz pours each). Let’s say I am glad I had a designated driver. Will be back for sure!
Friday lunch, first time here. Pleasantly surprised. Nachos with chilli, grilled cheese with tomato bisque. It all tasted fresh and homemade. Enjoyable atmosphere. Looks like a wide selection of wines. There is an outside patio too.
Your go to for Sunday Funday with the girls. A Local gem in San Alejo Hills. Mamosa flight is a must. The signature French toast with breakfast potato is delicious. If you ever have time to visit on a Tuesday, They have the best taco Tuesday. The vegetarian style is a signature one. Try Noir wine :)
Hidden gems in the neighborhood… loved the cozy vibe with decent food and good house wines. The staff is friendly. We are coming back again!
Great local spot, staff is friendly and attentive. Food has always been great, maybe slightly pricy but that is the norm now.
Taco Tuesday changes weekly and never disappoints. If you find yourself coming in on any other day of the week, no matter what you order is going to be amazing too. Very chill atmosphere and great service.

This restaurant has very high reviews, so I decided to try it. Any restaurant that is able to get 4.5 stars on Yelp with lots of reviews has to be doing something right. I was not disappointed. I had the Pulled Pork Mac n' Cheese and it was absolutely delicious. Very cool decor with an outdoor patio. Service was fast and friendly. I even came when it was raining hard, and there were still people here. This a very niche community, but these folks have nailed it.
One of the best places in San Diego County to enjoy food and drinks. Atmosphere is fun, friendly, and the staff is excellent! The food is some of the very best around. We are regulars here and thoroughly love this place. Go try it!
Update 6/23/2019... Yep, I LOVE ❤️ San Elijo Vine & Tap, and by far, hands down, the best quality fresh food and incredible service anywhere in North County! I look forward to coming here as often as possible!! Everyone here is so attentive, the food is consistently FANTASTIC! Their Omelettes, especially the Veggie which is filled with fresh artichoke hearts, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, Brie cheese and with a little homemade pesto, served with seasoned potatoes, is so full of flavor, oh my it’s pretty much my every Sunday choice here. The Bacon Scramble, filled with meaty smoked bacon, eggs, potatoes, is big enough for two and all plates for brunch come with fresh sliced pineapple, melon, and adorned with beautiful flowers. Everything I’ve ever tried is served in healthy portions, so you won’t leave hungry! My Mom’s favorite, the Waffle is so dreamy rich with vanilla maple cream and is better than any waffle I’ve ever eaten, not sure what they add to the batter, but it’s incredible! This is such a cool little place, and yes Dog friendly, so bring your fur baby and enjoy the outdoor patio!! Generous with Champagne pours through out your meal, I never have to ask for more, and in fact they always seem to be able to anticipate what you need and are so personable! I’ve been all over North County, and this is definitely my all time favorite place for be!
Ordered take out taco Tuesday last night. It was awesome. The chicken and fish tacos were bigger than we expected. We also ordered the buffalo chicken dip. It was amazing! Can’t wait for them to reopen after this mess. Will definitely be there as soon as legally allowed. I bought a couple bottles of wine too at a huge discount! Highly recommend ordering take out online until they open back up for dining.
We had a really great experience during our first visit at Epoch. I had a great happy hour wine and my husband was very happy with his beer. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate easily with their happy hour menu. We had their soup of the day, spinach artichoke dip, and hummus. They were all really delicious and their staff was knowledgeable about gluten free cuisine. We were so pleased with our visit and look forward to many more if we buy a home in the area!!
I've been here twice and both visits were outstanding! They have great wines and plenty of delicious food choices! We have tried several menu items and they were all fantastic. Their charcuterie boards are top notch! It's a intimate and quaint setting. A great place to hang out with friends or enjoy date night!
Nice neighborhood place with good wine selection and decent food. Good place to chill in evenings.
We absolutely love this hidden gem. Their Chef and food is amazing. Servers are like family. They have a killer Sunday Brunch with bottomless mimosas. It's our favorite place of all the places. Our go-to for Taco Tuesday, Friday Date Night and Sunday Funday.
I have only been to Vine & Tap for brunch on the weekend, but their breakfast is the best! We live right up the hill so I finally tried it and I was super impressed. The cinnamon French toast and then carnitas hash are so darn good. I take my kids and wife at least once per month. Highly recommend.

A constant place of gathering for my coworkers and I who worked in the San Elijo Area. This time we met on a weekend for brunch. I ordered a Pannikin coffee and Cinnamon Toast French Toast. Really thick slices of French Toast, I’m kinda weird and prefer thin slices but this was still good. Others got an omelette or a wrap. Everyone like their food, service was nice, bit pricey but in line with the local restaurants.

I usually do not order a burger and fries but I did and what a surprise wow! The fries were amazing too. I like the place it's just a bit clautrohobic it would be lovely if they were able to have tables outside or ditch the huge table "only one in there' and put more 4 person seating.
Really rough experience. Wine list had not been updated and they were out of what we wanted. Suggested something else but couldn’t tell us anything about it. We rolled with it but it took 15 minutes to get said bottle of wine. Ordered food shortly thereafter (just sandwiches). After ~40 mins, still had not gotten our food - looked like order was never put in. They finally were ready to bring the food out 10 mins before they closed so we just asked to get it to go, which seemed to put some of the staff out for some reason. On top of it all, atmosphere was meh at best. Food did end up being decent at least. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Food was terrible. I got a Cobb salad That has hardly any toppings and seemed like it came from a premade grocery store salad. Same thing with my husband’s meal, the barbecue pulled pork mac & cheese. Again seemed like microwaved food with two big chunks of pork that he had to shred himself. And way too much barbecue sauce poured on top. Nice place but absolutely awful food so only go for the drinks.
