We had our annual Back to School Breakfast for our grandkids here. There were 16 of us and service was fabulous and food was great! Food came out quickly and kids were happy!! They are family owned and we really enjoy eating here!
Tun building design. You walk in and you can sit on either side. The entrees come with rice or hash browns but you can get half and half. I really liked the option of linguica or longanisa. Loco moco meat was great and the gravy was very normal and not exactly what I’d expect as if we were at a Hawaiian place (shoyu, Worcestershire). My friend really enjoyed the hash.
It's a small but interesting looking building. After going inside you have two spots to sit right or left and both Sides have round a bout 10 -15 seats. The card is structured and Shows many breakfasts to choose from. I ordered Pancakes with Bacon and crumbled eggs and a coffee. It was delicious and as Ursula, Coffee and water will be filled at least right after the Cup was empty.
Modest eats for brunches and lunches. Sundays are usually the busiest and during peak times there could be a wait for a table. But, the staff is efficient and we were served right away. Food is better than other chain breakfast places. They have delicious Filipino dishes and are generous portion. The longanisa is tasty and not too sweet, which I prefer. The steaks we ordered were cooked just right. This place is worth coming back to.
I’m so glad I discovered The Pantry! Everyone who works here is so warm and nice, the food is really well-priced and tastes great, and they have outdoor seating. I love the authentic, down-to-earth atmosphere. It’s like a real family diner, not pretentious or flashy, great value, and it’s clear that everyone there is having a great time (customers and staff alike). Wonderful vibes. My food was ready so fast even though they were busy. Would give 10 stars if I could and I think this is my new favorite breakfast spot!
The food was super-good and homey! The staff was smiling and courteous. Atmosphere was friendly, in retro style/older location. Very highly recommended. We return again when visiting from So. Cal.
This place is great for what me and one of my friends go there for whenever it's time to do a Sunday catch-up. Tasty, basic diner style food with plenty of options for Hawaiian and Filipino favorites as well. The menu has huge variety, and everything is served up by warm and friendly staff who keep the coffee topped off and seem to enjoy being there.
I have gone here for years, and the food is always on point. I love that you can get half and half with hashbrowns, rice, and toast. I'm sorry but I'm filipino and I need all my carbs. I love that they get me. This time aroud service was lacking. They were quick to take your order and give you your food but never came back to check on us to provide refills, to go box, or even give you the ticket to pay. It wasn't busy when we got there, not when we were done. They didn't even look at us. They just had us sit there. I waited politely at least a good 15-20 minutes. I got up and had to ask for everything so we can leave
Cozy location with a high ceiling. Has a family run vibe that’s casual and attentive. It was busy on a Sunday but not chaotic. Friend loved their chicken liver. The hash browns were loaded with onions, which was a first for me, and very good. Tasty and filling! I really enjoyed their gravy. It has different meats in it and went great with the fried chicken and biscuits. Biscuits were a bit dense for me. Not a lot of vegetarian options if you don’t eat eggs.
Breakfast and comfort food at a reasonable price. This carries standard breakfast fare and most of the dishes of food are ~$10. You can't go wrong with that! It has Filipino fare too. I recommend the filipino sweet sausage and eggs. This place does have a line on most mornings (especially weekend and holidays).
I have to raise my stars a little bit as my meal this time was actually pretty good. I ordered the honey chicken and flapjacks. I guess it’s their version of chicken and waffles. The chicken was super moist and was fried with just the right amount of batter. I did like the hint of honey in it. The pancakes were nothing out ordinary, but they were good too. I also tried the adobo, which wasn’t super authentic Filipino food, but it was still pretty good. The chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was good. Overall, the food was decent, the portions were huge and the price is fair.
The staff was helpful but the older lady was a bit more on the serious side and very direct to the point of making us feel uncomfortable (she is a bit rude) The food was okay but that is it just ok not impressed. Prices are fair. Place is a bit outdated could us some up keep. I am basing my review on 4 separate visit experiences and combined to one review. If my review was based on my first visit that I came by my self I'd be leaving 5 stars but if it was based on today's visit that was with a party of 5 they'd get 1 star. With that said come on over and create your own experience and write your own review.
This is a non-descript place with American and Filipino fare. Prices are very reasonable with good-sized portions. There’s plenty of free parking, decent service, and a very relaxed setting. While I’ve had better, I would go back. My son and I both had the linguica with hash browns, and it was decent. My wife had the Longanisa with rice, and I thought it was very good. Better Longanisa than I’ve had elsewhere and what I would get next time.
Maybe it's because it was 2:00 PM. But the hash browns that everybody raves about were so so. And while the grilled onions added a nice bit of flavor, they seemed pretty haphazardly tossed on to the potatoes. Extra points for thick cut, tasty bacon that was nicely done. Huge portions for breakfast, but mediocre service at best. Three and a half stars for the food and two and a half stars for the service.
Had scrambled eggs with ham, hash browns, biscuit, s/o country gravy. Eggs & ham were fine. Hashbrowns were unedible mush with onion & seasoning on top. Gravy was horrible!!! It was cornstarch goop with pieces of ham, linguica maybe, & not sure what other kind of meat. Gravy out of a can would have been better! No butter for the biscuit. Waitress did not come back after delivering meal.Very disappointing!
