Oh my gosh! Hands down the best food! It was very relaxing to sit down and have a beautifully cooked meal.I recommended the pasta and the buttermilk fried chicken. This is comfort food.

Pesto pasta tastes as it should, a very generous portion too. Overall I enjoyed the food. A must if you're in the area.

I felt really welcomed here! I had the shrimp scampi and the cheese pizza. Great food and great service. the atmosphere was very peaceful. 10/10 would come again.

Lovely hospitality! Atmosphere was very classy and romantic. The owner truly interacts with everyone. So cool! Also, fried pizza balls stuffed with cheese!!! Pizza was great and it is cooked in an actual brick oven. Spaghetti was just how i like it. And to end it, tiramusu with an affogato.

Red Rooster in San Rafael is simply outstanding! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was just as impressive: warm, friendly, and attentive. You can tell the people here truly care about what they do. Everything from start to finish felt welcoming and genuine. We were in San Raphael for a convention and found Red Rooster Brick Oven. We had the cheesy bread and the meatball apps, and shared the pizza and spaghetti. Everything was SOOOO GOOD! And service was excellent with attentive and helpful servers. We're definitely coming back.

If you live the San Rafael area, The Red Rooster Brick Oven is the place to go for delicious pizza, and a relaxing environment to share a meal in downtown San Rafael. Service is top notch, friendly, fast and efficeint, we felt very welcomed when we dined in. We split a pizza and enjoyed a salad, both equally delicious. The salad was well portioned, and well executed in terms of freshness and ingredients, each bite was memorable. The pizza crust from the brick oven is absolutely mouth watering, a crisp, buttery (could be olive oil), crunch on the crust, and the center of the pie holds the ingredients equally well without getting soggy. Its a very well made, def not your typical NY style pizza, BUT good in its own right. Everything we enjoyed was freshly made. There's an ample beverage selection, including beer and wine should you take part. You can dine inside, or outside, both offer great seating to enjoy with company or solo. If you haven't tried Red Rooster yet, by all means give it a try.

Do not hesitate! You will be happy. We are always looking for good gluten free pizza crust. We found it! Hand made and tasted great. We lived in Italy for a year and this made us remember how good pizza can actually taste.

Love this corner spot. The owners makes you feel welcome and serves some nice dishes. I have had their pasta, pizzas and fried chicken. Delicious spot that was recommended by our hotel staff. Parking across the way in the garage is free on weekends. There's street temp parking too. Loved their calamari and pizza. Their kale salad with salmon was delicious. 2 restrooms in the rear of the place that are well maintained. Highly recommend for anyone craving pasta or pizza.

Diverse menu with fantastic quality throughout. The pizzas are unique to the restaurant and taste incredible. The service was quick and friendly. Since the new management, the prices are incredibly reasonable considering the high quality of the food, and one can see their pizzas being made right in front of them.

My boyfriend and I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with their delicious food and friendly service. I ordered the house clam chowder and my boyfriend ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with garlic fries, and I have to say that it was one of the best meals I've had in a while. The chicken pesto sandwich was perfectly toasted, and the pesto was packed with flavor, complementing the juicy chicken perfectly. The garlic fries were crispy and flavorful, and they were the perfect side to the sandwich. The portion size was generous, and I appreciated the fact that everything was made fresh to order. The clam chowder was creamy and savory, with chunks of tender clams and potatoes in every bite. It was the perfect comfort food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who made me feel at home. The service was prompt and attentive, and the food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh.

Went to Red Roostes in San Rafeal at around 4:00 pm on a Saturday. The place is not that busy. We got seated right away, and water served immediately. We ordered pizza and shrimp scampi. Both dishes were delicious. The food prices are reasonable. The servers were very attentive and on the ball on drink refills.

How many people have ever gone to a restaurant that uses real silverware? How many restaurants, especially in Marin, offer fried chicken ( besides the Colonel )? Quality food and like a lot funky San Rafael establishments, the staff will sit down and converse with you if it's slow.

The staff was great and every attentive. The lovers pizza was very good and flavorful. The calamari was also great with the dipping sauce. The shrimp scampi was basic. The buttermilk chicken was unseasoned. There was nothing great about it. The chicken wings were the same. But the bbq sauce that was on the wings was great. Pretty Ehh for the prices

They infuse the meat with lots of Rosemary powder, the meat tastes predominantly of Rosemary. No doubt this is done intentionally to cover up the meat is tasteless. The French fries were very good. The ice tea was awful, tasted days old, sent it back. I do not recommend this business

Waited 40 minutes for our pizzas to come, and neither were good. One was badly overcooked to the point of being inedible, and the other was just mediocre. The waitress, however, was nice and seemed to be managing well given what seemed like short staffing.

Half the steak was gristle and tendons. When I asked for a slight discount the manager argued with me saying that's flavor. Steak was tough like leather served with an attitude. I want my money back. Gross. Again, asking for bread and steak sauce is hardly an accommodation? I think you didn't want to be bothered because you were having a conversation with a table behind me sitting next to the table like you were eating there. It's clear, you don't care about your customer base and worse, it's about the bottom dollar. I have no interest in some BS excuse for free food Bro!! I see another failed restaurant in your future. Goodluck with bankruptcy. Blessings is what you said right?? 🙏🙏
