Fast friendly service a large variety menu of freshly cooked hot food, a $6 Munchie meal is freaking great burger or chicken sandwich two tacos curly fries regular fries and a drink I think? I also go for the egg rolls with the sweet and sour sauce, jumbo Jack cheese is also a classic, breakfast foods even the mini pancakes when they have them, mini churros are great for dipping in a Oreo shake.

How do they get so much menu variety out of such a small kitchen? The regular tacos are delightful little grease bombs. The rest of the menu has offerings you won't see at other chains Yeah, it's fast food, but if you're going fast food, enjoy the taste, spice, & variety at Jack's!

I’m all in for Jacks Milk Shakes! Especially the seasonal ones. Yumm yumm for this tum tum! Occasionally tiny tacos or egg rolls. Bonus it’s the only 24 hour restaurant I know of in San Rafael!

They are open late and the honor that, BK down in canal doesn't respect their hours and they close even though they are supposed to be open late or even 24hrs. Thanks Jack in the box and the ladies that took our order. They were fast and super nice.

The staff definitely can’t understand anything you order through the drive through lol but hey, you still get some hot food and it’s a surprise! Go inside late at night and your bound for some interesting people watching. The breakfast items are great 24/7.

In the last photo I uploaded, I showed how their board says Jumbo Jacks (without cheese) are $4.29, but they charge you $4.59 at the register. Overall, I eat there more than once a week, always take out as the place is too small. But it has fast service, and just about the best tasting fast food. Parking is tough, but there's a lot of it. They've had a lot of staff over the years and often find pretty good ones.

As a regular, I come to love amd appreciate the staff and how hard they work. They operate like a family. Nothing is perfect and no store ever is. But the crew try amd do work hard. Over worked and under appreciated. They are really nice people if you just go in. Drive thru can be crazy but they have the perfect spot for traffic going in and out. Great little place for anytime meal. We were hungry on our way back to Bay area on Christmas and most food places were closed, but not this one. First time eating in Jack in the Box and really liked it. Vegatarians can try Jalapeno bites, mini munchies and french fries, or burgers - take plain or with greens. Overall it was great. We did dine in.

It's a Jack-in-the-Box. Cheap, fast, and with help that aren't exactly Nobel laureates. THE place to go for late-nite munchies, or when you just don't want to get out of your car.

Jack in the Box is a wonderful spot. Its open 24 hours. This is the only one in miran. They have a very reasonable value menu and it's around the old school prices/food ratio so this is my new favorite place to eat. They have an all day breakfasts menus and a Wonderful Dessert menu. The only negative would be the drive through line and access to the front of the restaurant. The dining room area isn't so big probly 20 people Max. The drive through has a weird entrance from the street which is good but it's a weird S shape so you can only get probly maximum 3 to 4 cars in the drive-through. If you show up at night expect to have at least 15 cars in the drive through area and around it because they can't fit and each car takes about 5 to 7 minutes to order. Sometimes longer wait lines but definitely worth the wait for fresh food. There is plenty of parking if you go in but, like all fast food, drive through gets most priority. If you go I recommend the tacos, the churros, the sourdough Jack and any of the breakfast items. The classic double Bacon cheeseburger. Happy eating!

When firing on all cylinders, this restaurant earns this four. Sometimes, they are a three. This particular Jack has FAST service. Orders are typically right when taken to go. Food usually hot and fresh. This Jack does the job well.

I think the burgers are terrible, the service is fine, however it's very difficult to understand these people on the speaker phones when they have heavy heavy accents. That being said, the milkshakes are the best and their breakfasts are the best!

This is perhaps the most unusual JitB I've ever visited, and I'm a fan of this fast food chain. It is staffed and run, seemingly by a family, and extended friends/family, and attracts the same and more. I've eaten in the small, Spartan like, yet comfortable dining room, and visited the clean secure men's restroom, and found both to my liking. The beverages for customers electing to eat in, are acquired at a self service device in the dining room. The to go window as well, has never gotten my order wrong in the over 25 years I have occasionally, namby pamby, stopped by. The best kicker for me; they're open 24/7/365...yep, every day and night of the year(s)!

I think this is one of the best fast food establishments in our town, the drive through is very short and a lot of folks don't enter it correctly which has lead to cars yelling at each other and cutting lines. The staff the most part are very friendly and the food is better than average for fast food.

They are consistent. They have 3 items I buy: the mini tacos (15 taquitos that are consistently well deep fried), the spring rolls (well fried also & just as tasty as the ones from a normal Chinese restaurant) and their vanilla milkshakes that are very thick & delicious. Although the employees are nice, they are clearly over-worked & probably abused by Marin customers. They are young, probably have another job or 2 & have to multitask the orders coming in through microphone, take customer's payments & give them their food. One person does that. Although they don't fry or heat up the food, that one person has to do an awful lot. I hope they get tips. I suggest a sign "tips are appreciated."

With the right expectations, it’s good. My son loves the sausage croissants. It can take a while to get through the drive thru if there are a lot of cars ahead of you.

Drive-thru was packed at midnight so service was a bit slow, but the kid at the window made it worth the wait...service with a smile is hard to find these days. Food was good...fries were FRESH...didn't get my ketchup, salt or Ranch though...and my burger was wrong...it was missing the onions, extra pickles (I got ONE pickle)and extra mayo I requested.

The manager, I cannot remember his name is the friendliest fast food employee I have ever met. He is always cheerful and courteous. I love it when we go through the drive thru and hear his voice.

Food was over cooked, the clerks for got to give me my egg rolls, until it was time to go. But they did do a good job on making my milk shake.

Fast food let's keep that in mind as I go on. As far as fast food goes it really is one of the better menu's offered. Not by calorical count or nutritional stand point. By good old fashion taste so why the 3 stars?? Everytime I go to that Jack in the box the service is slow and that seem to mess up the order. Seriously when you order a combo meal how hard do you have to try to screw it up?? If you do drive thru, you have to have them read back your order, confirm it when you are at the window before giving them your money. Confirm you got your complete order, and check for straws,napkins and any sauce that comes with your food. I hate feeling like I have to explain to an adult how to do their job, and it pains me to see that I did a better job at a competitors drive thru at the age of 16. Why??? Because I actually cared about doing my job and not feeling that I was not paid enough. At 3.35/hour back than it was not enough money and when is minimal wage ever enough?? Last issue realizing minimum wage takes special individuals to work for it, it seems that a prerequisite for being on a speaker phone in the drive thru that the equipment must be from the Nixon administration era and English is not your first language or if it is, then mastering the verbal part of it was not a priority. As well as manners, when I am ordering stop interrupting me, I will let you know when I believe I am done ordering. If you ask me " "anything else" as I am trying to do just that on a bad day getting pulled out of the glass box might be in someone's future. Employees are nice but uninterested, and the food has just not been up to par the last few times I've been there. Either cold or extremely greasy, and just thrown together.

I ordered the fries with the cheese on it (don't recall the name on the menu). When. I got to the window I was Asked what kind of sauce I wanted and, confused, I asked, wasn't there already sauce on it? They said yes, some kind of, unknown to me, sauce. I then asked if it was a hot sauce, which caused much confusion and three employees to figure out what I meant. The sign didn't reference a 'spiced sauce' and in the end, they fixed me another order with no hot sauce. The new order did have a mild red sauce in it and was delightful.

We found a brown pill in my wife's burger and when we told the manager she seemed insulted about the insinuation of that happening but it was true. I ordered another burger and after thinking about it I gave it to a homeless person for fear that it was probably spit in.

This place was good for a drive in but the Super Taco was disappointing. As far as Ian concerned the shells were a tiny bit larger.... 1/4 inch on both ends.... It was double the cost of their regular taco....Should have just bought 4 regular tacos as opposed to their 2 tacos... I'll never order the super tacos as again...I went back and grumbled to the employees but they didn't do a thing about it ... Totally false advertisement.... Not happy to try their new products from now on!!!!!

What's the point of fast food thats not fast? You get to sit in your car contemplating your latest unhealthy lifestyle choice while the employees seem to be doing everything in this world except make fast food. The last time I went there I was AT the window waiting for so long I finally realized my limited time on this earth is too precious to a) eat unhealthy food and b) wait until my death to get it. Phyliis' Burgers up the street is 1000 times better, 1 million times healthier, and actually faster to park and sit down than the "express" lane at Jack in the Box!

It's a very small place. The servers were very rude and unhelpful. It took me almost 30 mins to get my meal when there was hardly anyone else in the place. I thought it might be a fluke so I tried it again with almost the same results. I did end up getting my food faster but that was about it. Would not go back there.

Service is not so great...I've been here quite a few times, but lately there employees aren't as friendly AND it takes forever to get your food. They definitely need to step their game up...

*Update 4/5/22-they always upgrade your order to the larger size without asking you, to up their sales numbers. Employees won't always acknowledge you when ask for a change or say what new total is, so you go to window wondering if you have to have an awkward conversation. This is an okay Jack in the Box except they are always extremely slow. Even for the most basic of orders. Usually you can see friends of the employees hanging out in the lobby waiting to talk with employees between orders. Regardless, it's slow every time. Otherwise food meets standard taste and quality as any JitB.

My experince by using the drive through was frustrating, the employee taking my order kept talking and joking with the other employees and kept asking me to repeat my order. Then the food; I ordered 4 chicken tenders and 2 where unatable since they were extremely chewy.

The food was up to par, the service was absolutely terrible. The person workin at 10pm was angry. We apparently frustrated him by taking too long to decide what to order. When we got to the window we changed our mind on one item and he reacted in a very unprofessional manner. We then were asked to pull forward, which we did. We waited for about 10 minutes for FAST FOOD. No reason for that, we changed our item from a pita to a salad, which are pre-made. So, it wasn't like we asked for a well-done steak or something. Get it together, very disappointed.

I have tried the sandwiches and fried sides at this spot a couple of times, but each time they taste of an improperly cleaned griddle and oil that hasn't been changed in too long. For now, I will stick to the occasional milkshake!

I give it 2 stars only because the botes I did get to enjoy were on point. I would think with only 3 sandwiches there would be no issues... sadly, I was mistaken. I made sure to repeat myself since 1 item was specail order(plain). I made the mistake of trusting someone and drove all the way back to my hotel for the evening only to find out that they didn't get the sandwich wrong, they forgot the sandwich entirely. So, I had to enjoy my food cold driving the 15 or so minutes back to Jack In The Box to get a replacement sandwich after I explain to them twice what it happened because nobody seemed understand me, they handed me my sandwich and said "thank you!" and went back to throwing burgers in bags. There was no "Here's a milkshake for coming back to my store! There was No Hey here are some free churros or hey I'm sorry I messed up your shitNo one cares anymore.

First, we couldn't make an online order through the app in this particular restaurant for some reason, so we had to walk in. Then we had to return from our car TWICE to get our order right. I thought that showing my phone with my app order would help, but guess not - combo was wrong, and one item was missing completely. Good thing we checked everything before leaving. Not to mention that we lost the 15% discount since we had to walk in instead of app order. Experience was very disappointing, but the food was good, hence 2 starts. I like Jack a lot, so I will come back again, but probably not in this area.

I've now been to this location about 6 times. Jack in the Box is one of my favorites for cheap and quick food, but the service here has been consistently subpar. There's always a long wait to order, and it has been a long wait to receive food on more than half of my visits. With exception of an order of Cheddar Potato Wedges that we're fried too long, all the food has been good though. To be honest, I'd usually just go to a different location, but I'm usually pressed for time when I take my meals in this area, and the next closest location is something like 7 miles away. I will most likely come back purely for the food, and hope that the service improves.

I've been to this Jack in the box 3 or 4 times. Last time I went was Monday the 21th in the morning. I have never had a rude person at this place. When I was trying to order I was explaining the lady "SOFI" what kind of burger I wanted, but I didn't know the name. She answered back really rude. Wanted me to tell her what was the name of the burger but I didn't know. I went to the window to explain in detail to her, so she could understand better, but when I got to the window, while I started talking to her she TOTALLY ignored me and started to take someone else's order. I literary waited about 5-10 min so she could take my order. I got really frustrated and I left without my burger. On Monday I got the worse costumer service with the lady Sofi.. Never going back to this place, even though the other people are really nice. Having this kind of people at this place is not good at all. I was really disappointed.

New to the area and tried to go to this Jack in the box. The lady in the drive thru was rude and I had to repeat my order 3 times. It was very simple: Chicken sandwich with no tomato or mayo. She asked twice if I wanted bacon, and I said yes.++ Get the order, its nothing but chicken and a bunch of tomato. I had to pull over because she wouldn't pay attention to me after I got my order. I went inside, explained to her again that I wanted everything on it but tomato and mayo (it comes with lettuce, cheese, and bacon) she just scoffs and goes back to fix it. come back and its just the same sandwich, this time with a whole bunch of lettuce and nothing else. I gave up and left, but never coming here again.

Ordered online. Said 7-10 minutes. Took me 15 to get there, only to be looked at in the strangest way, when I said " I ordered online".... Took a few minutes to find my order, then was told that it was almost done!!?? Only because it's 'fast' food is it almost done.

awful breakfast. Everything was microwaved, the pancakes were rubbery, they forgot to give me sausage with my platter and gave me only what can be described as "baby bacon"; bacon small enough for a baby. My husband is extremely lactose intolerant and when i requested that NO cheese be out on his sandwhich, they gave him extra....we literally had to fish the eggs and sausage out of the cheese to remake the sandwich. I won't do to this to us or our stomachs ever again!

I don't know why but they overcook the Onion Rings so bad here it's disappointing. I've stopped going there since the last 5 times the onion rings were basically inedible. edit: Went back twice to see if this issue is fixed. No tacos either time, the second time I was waited almost 30 minutes for food. What is happening here?

Horrible management who refuses to take responsibility for their actions. One of the parking spots which I know for a fact is on Jack-in-the-Box property has a unmaintained tree limb which is consistently putting dents in peoples cars and they refuse to acknowledge this and reimburse people for the damages. Whenever I called the JITB manager they hung up on me and the franchise manager has not returned any of my many voicemails.

OMG this place is terrible. I pulled in this AM and ordered a breakfast sausage burrito. First I was the 3rd vehicle in line abd it seemed to take at least 20 minutes to get to the speaker to order. And then another 15 minutes after that. The food was DRY, tepid and absolutelky something I would NOT feed to my neighbors dog. 2 bites and I threw it away. I couldn't eat that disgusting mess. I'm never going back here again. In fact, I'm finished with Jack In The Box, period.

The service was absolutely horrible. Our order was missing many items and when we asked for a refund they refused . The lady working at the window was rude and awful, she would've even talk to us, so we decided to call instead to see if anyone else would even answer the phone. This location is not open 24 hours as advertised. Looking in the window there are employees in the restaurant, but after waiting about 15 minutes nobody answered the drive thru to take my order, or acknowledge my presence by the drive thru window.

Meal was decent for fast food, but asked specifically if all my order was in the bag, was assured, and then found out when I got home they left out my tacos! And, I hadn’t had JitB tacos in over 20 years was really looking forward to them. Then, didn’t answer the phone when I called to inquire :(

I always come to Jack In The Box and get my value fries. Today, the woman working the drive thru said that they don’t have value fries. Very disappointing when the menu clearly says “Value fries”. She wanted to charge me for a bigger size.

Absolutely horrible food!!!! Burgers horrible!!! doused in ketchup and mayo after i said none. Beef/bacon tasted rancid/ bad, bacon saturated with ketchup, bun falling apart from ketchup. Never eating here again! Sad the management does not seem to care! I used to live down the street and this place was never good, but it is absolutely horrible now!!!If you must eat jack in Marin, go to Ignacio, Novato. I work at an ER nearby and we sometimes count on this 24hr Jack in the Box for dinner at odd hours of the night… it would be nice if they actually stayed open the times that are advertised. We have been turned down on numerous occasions claiming the restaurant is closed.. Or workers sleeping in the lobby… If you’re short staffed turn off the lights? Change the hours of operation!? Something….

I ordered 3 burgers and when I got my receipt, I realized that they took my order wrong; she keyed our order in as a combo rather than the sandwich itself. When I went up to tell her, she pretended to not understand English and insisted on getting us the combos. I am deeply upset with the service I was provided with :(

Been here a few times. Food is average but service is horrendous. Too many rude employees. Waited 20/25 mins for an older guy to tell me it was cash only..could’ve told me anytime during my wait. When I was looking to see if I had cash his response was “do you want it or not”. Well that made my decision easy. I happily drove away without the food. If that’s how I’m going to be spoken to I’ll just go elsewhere. Terrible service - do not recommend this place at all.

Poor customer service. The drive thru women was not very nice at all. She accidentally gave me a wrong drink and I kindly asked if I could have the one I wanted and she ripped the drink out of my hand with a big sigh rolling her eyes. I requested an order and it was sent to me incomplete. I called, but they haven't responded at all. The order number is 250608051634601. I hope they respond to my incomplete order because money costs even if it's just a dollar. I haven't received 1 Oreo Cookie Shake, Large 1 Diet Coke, Large 1 Curly, Large 1 ChBurger This is the second time I've received an incomplete order. And the DoorDash bags came sealed. I'm letting them know so they don't make excuses and say it was the delivery person who didn't accept the fault of their employees.

I wasn’t going to put up a review because the first time this happened I thought it was a genuine mistake. Almost months later I’ve run into the same issue. Months ago I ordered a chicken sandwich and drove home to find that there is no patty. Once again, tonight my friend made an order and once again he was given a sandwich with no patty. He paid full price (as did I) and we did not receive what we paid for. We went through the drive through and tried to get a new sandwich with a patty and were refused service by whoever was on duty at 12/20 1:45 AM. She refused to provide us a manager or her name and my friend and I were not provided the food we paid for. I’m writing this review because this is no longer a one time occurrence. I never write reviews but it is unfair that we pay full price for a product we did not receive and that our requests as customers were not even acknowledged. I have not had an issue with any Jack in the Box but this one. I would caution those who have experienced similar situations to stay away from this particular branch.
