The staff were so friendly and helpful as it was the first visit to a ROAM location. Had the Heritage Bison burger with seasonal Red Curry fries and coconut lime dipping sauce. My burger was delicious and I liked the interesting flavor of the curry fries, but I was not a fan of the dipping sauce. The herb mayo on the burger is really tasty! And enjoyed the Seasonal Sparkling Apple Cider! Great meal and I look forward to a future visit.
BEST burger I've ever tried - Bison mushroom Swiss lettuce wrap. WOW! The Banana Walnut Chocolate Chip shake was absolutely delicious. Everything we tasted was fabulous. Service was just as amazing!
Very good, fresh food. The burgers are juicy and the fries are light and not over salted. I had the heritage beef burger and truffle parmesan russet fries. My family got the sweet potato fries and zucchini onion stack. Everything was fantastic! Would definitely recommend and will visit again when I'm in the area next. They're also very environmentally friendly.
We love coming here for our burger cravings. I have had quite a few of their burgers and I have loved them all. For this visit I ordered the French n Fries burger with well done beef and a vanilla milk shake. I loved the flavor and the best part is that the patty stays moist even though well done. I usually ask for well done meat and not every place is able to keep it moist. The vanilla milk shake was creamy and thick.

Great burgers. Got the tavern burger with bleu cheese. Great sweet potato fries too

My daughter and I tried Roam today for lunch. I ordered the veggie BBQ burger and my daughter ordered the traditional veggie burger. The meal was quickly prepared and delivered promptly. The restaurant has plenty of seating inside and outside and is very clean and tidy. The flavors were superb, and the burger wasn't too heavy or greasy. The fixings were just right. The russet fries were perfection. We also really liked the chocolate shake and local cola. It was a little on the pricier side, but we will definitely be back!
I got the classic hamburger with extra onion. It was perfectly cooked and tasty. I just wouldn't get the fries again. $5 was too much for the amount that you get.
Overall good stuff, which could be a little bit pricey. We’re talking about $15 for three types of french fries in Fry-Fecta. However, it is enough and fancy serving. Good job! One very juicy and tender burgers with unique and distinct taste. Although I think french fries, inside of the burger is a little bit extra. Good thing that they do serve beers here as well to complete your burger experience. Good job, Roam Artisan Burgers.
Easy spot for a larger group. Good vegetarian options from burgers to soups. All burgers can be substituted with a veggie patty which was super appreciated:) don’t forget to get the fry-fecta
We had a few different burgers and a side of Brussels sprouts. The quality and flavor of their offerings were very good, but this comes at a higher cost. One way to combat this higher cost is to purchase gift cards at Costco (there's one about 1.5 miles away at the San Ramon/Danville border), where for a cost of $79.99 you receive a $100.00 value, and during certain sale times, you can purchase those same cards for even less. By purchasing these cards, eating here becomes a much better value.
Tried this place on a late Thursday Evening after shopping. Didn’t disappoint with their friendly staff and recommendations regardless if it was almost closing time. My only issue to make it 5 stars was the bison patty, it was a little too game. But the best part in this awesome meal adventure was the hazelnut milkshake( this creation will cause wars) it is wassss too good!!!!
It's like home made burger (I like), not greasy.. Next time I will order (Pink), so it will probably not so dry. But is good overall i like the taste. I wish they have lunch special that is $2 less, or a meal combo.
I finally tried a few weeks back, the Tejano burger was delicious but wrong bun. I tried again this time BBQ style… so/so the bun again was NOT the Classic Brioche and the onions were not really caramelized. The Strawberry shake was PERFECT! I give it four stars because their seems to be a language barrier which is sad no one seems interested in communicating. I will try one more time!😍
Convenient place to grab a burger. Vegetarian options available. BBQ burger was okay. The veggie burger was good, made worth beets and lots of fresh toppings. Seating both indoors and outdoors.
Let me just start by agreeing with others, it's kinda pricey. But beyond that, the food is pretty good. The fries (and the fry trio especially) is a definitely standout. All 3 fried items were super good and it's a pretty good value for like 10 buck. The burgers though left a little something to be desired I think. We tried the BBQ Burger (It was meh) and the Springtime Burger (It was like Meh+). But oddly enough, my 11 yr old got a plain Bacon Cheeseburger which the wife and I both tried. And we thought it was great lol. So yeah, if we go back. Bacon Burgers all around! The milkshake was yummy yoo.

The burgers are not what you expect (at least in California). I ordered the BBQ bison burger which has some slaw and more of a vinegary instead of a red BBQ sauce. The patty was fine. We also had the brussels sprouts which were tasty but pretty oily and sweet potato fries which were fine. The best part was the drink which was a blood orange soda.

We wanted to like this place more than we did. Roam had been on our list of places we wanted to check out for a long while. Finally got in to try it and we were mostly disappointed. Right off the bat we got some sticker shock from a $65 price on two burgers, a soup, and two beverages. We could have maybe swallowed the price if the food were phenomenal but to be honest I have had better burgers at McDonald's. The concept of the burgers sounded appealing but the execution was poor. A major failing is that the meat patty was ridiculously thin. Like every bite you take you wonder if there is any meat in there at all. There wasn't much sauce on mine either so basically all I tasted with each bite was mediocre dry bun and plain unseasoned avocado with tiny hints of the flavors mentioned on the menu for that burger. Side note: the burgers don't come with any sides like fries or anything so if you want that you'd have to crank out more dollar signs. On the flip side the roasted tomato soup was actually really good. No regrets about purchasing that. My coffee milkshake was very tasty and I was excited about the idea of bruleed marshmallow as a topping but $2 extra to add one marshmallow torched onto a tiny sliver of graham cracker hardly seemed worth the expense.

Ehh, way overpriced for a burger that matches I&O. Place was dead and the employees seemed less than enthusiastic I decided to eat there. No kidding, $30 for a burger and beer is overboard.
Way over priced burger place. They nickel and dime on everything so beware. Not family friendly if they are charging $14.5 for a kids burger and then they say you want meat cheese and bun? Then charge another $2 for cheese. $16.5 for a kids meal is pretty outrageous. My other kid got the chicken strips which were really dry and burnt which was $14.5 as well. Only able to digest one chicken tender since they were so dry. The kids drinks are laughable in the size cups they give. $15 for a kids meal is more like a fancy steak house price let alone a burger place. I went with another family too and they got charged $1 for a small side of ranch dressing.. Also an employer mandate fee of 5% they tack onto the bill as well! So if you want to get nickel and dimed for everything and pay for overpriced burgers and outrageous kids meal prices then this place is for you.

My wife and I were in the mood for burgers for dinner, and after years of walking by this place we decided to try it. The atmosphere is very casual with a bar setup and tables indoor and outdoor. We opted to sit inside to avoid the Friday night hustle and bustle of the rest of the mall. You order at the counter and are given a number; pretty basic setup as far as burger places go. The interior somehow has not enough space and too much space simultaneously. After looking over the wall menu I was super excited to try the Heritage Burger; I opted for a bison meat patty instead of standard beef and the brioche bun instead of the standard sesame. As a side note - I noticed they do not ask how you want your burger meat done. My wife ordered the vegan Bacon Cheeseburger with no changes. We both shared an order of the Fry-fecta which includes sweet potato fries, regular fries, and zucchini strings (which are battered like onion rings). I also got a prickly pear soda. My total came out to almost $60 before my wife showed the reward app for a free soda which brought it down to $53 and some change. Now I get that we live in a world ravaged by rapid inflation and stagnant wages, but damn, $60 for two burgers and some fries is a lot. We took a seat at the bar to watch the warriors game. We were given my soda as soon as I sat down, but nothing else. I eventually asked for water separately. The food came out within 10 minutes, and let me just say that I was visually disappointed with our burgers; they were smaller than anticipated. Okay, you can't judge a book - or burger in this case - by its cover. I unwrapped my burger and took a bite. It tasted even more disappointing than it looked. While thick and juicy, the bison patty was unseasoned and bland. The size of the patty was also way smaller than the size of the bun. And the bun itself wasn't even big to start with. The cheese and caramelized onions helped give it some semblance of flavor, but overall the burger just lacked basic seasoning. I had to add salt and pepper from tiny packets to my own burger. My wife's vegan Bacon cheeseburger was made with some kind of bean patty. According to her the patty tasted okay, but was too crumbly and fell apart with each bite. She felt an impossible burger would have been a way better option. I know the phrase will trigger some folks but the vegan bacon was "hard and salty", and "tasted like if I ate a dog beggin' strip". The fries were decent though, again, under seasoned. You can add special seasoning to the fries when you order, but I mean not even salt? When the server brought us our food she only provided us with some napkins. She didn't ask if we needed utensils, any sauces, or anything. My wife eventually wanted ketchup and she got up to find the condiment station around the corner; it's not visible from the entrance or most of the restaurant for that matter. There was also a water fountain with no cups, ketchup and mustard dispensers, one bottle of some generic hot sauce, salt and pepper packets, napkins, and utensils. To think the server could have just told us all of these things were around the corner. But no. Overall I was not impressed with the food or service at Roam. To see this place get such high ratings is laughable. It's sub par fast food posing as a high end burger shop. Honestly, Fuddruckers and Red Robins is better than this place. I'm glad I got to finally try it for myself. But I would not come back. It's alright for the one and done, but spend your money elsewhere for better burgers.
Two guys had a dream and decided to make mid ass burgers and give them fancy names. This place is over priced as hell. Your burger comes with no fries you have to buy the fancy ones if you want any plus $5+ for any drink. Mid food, workers were nice tho

I ordered the BBQ burger for $14 plus tax, expecting a properly cooked meal. What I got was a disappointment—the burger was undercooked and unsafe to eat. For the price, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. This was a waste of money, and I won’t be coming back. Never coming back and I advise that others don't bother coming here.
