We've been here many times and have ordered delivery/takeout. Food is reasonably priced and good quality. Dinner time can be crowded but worth the wait.
This is the best place I've tried for Chinese food in the area after many disappointments. I'm a vegetarian and get the eggplant with no meat and it is better than I knew eggplant could be! Measures up to the eggplant at PF Changs which I looove!
Food was great, I have only tried prawns and asparagus with their black bean sauce and fried rice. Slightly pricey but worth it.
We enjoy the food there all the time, at least two or three times a month. Both take out and eat in. House special tofu is my favorite dish and king do pork is my wife favorite dish, Some times we bring fresh fish for the owner to cook for us for a small and very reasonable fee.
I go here more often than any other Chinese place in the Tr-Valley. Portions are relatively large, prices are relatively low, and the food is made pretty quickly. I've never eaten inside, but it looks pretty cramped (and I'm pretty sure there's no delivery), but if you want to get some good, cheap Chinese takeout, it's really hard to beat this place.
Plenty of parking. Good service, tasty food.
Really good and authentic Cantonese style Chinese food. Big portions and always fresh and delicious. Great place for lunch (huge lunch special menu) and great for dinner too.
Food is always amazing here! We dined in this time and it was a little cold bc the door opened so much from Togo orders coming and going. If u need a Chinese food spot you found a good one!!
Amazing food all the time. Everything on the menu is exception. My favorites are wonton soup, potstickers, honey walnut prawns and Mongolian beef.
Very good value. Quick friendly service, and the food was very good too. Will definitely be back. And we're back for lunch... Same story excellent value, really good soup and lunch special.
My go-to takeout thru pandemic, never drop their quality nor quantity, same delicious and plentiful tasty Chinese on the table night in and night out. Us in south San Ramon valley are really in luck. Thank you Peking Delight for being here!
Food are delicious and prices are reasonable. The family packs are really valued for money for the family.

Dinner combo offered Excellent Value: large portion and fresh. Simply Excellent. Excellent wok skill as well and authentic. I would return.
Great place for a nice family dinner. The food is good (lots of flavor) and the service is just how you want it. We usually order from the three (3) items menu which comes with soup of your choice. This place is also great for takeout.
Great food, great service and love the little ambient. Need food to go or catering, this is one place you won’t be sorry to get Chinese.

Very good restaurant sometimes when order over the phone can be challenging at times. They will answer the phone ask you to wait but then nothing for 5 plus minutes this only happened a few time so it might just depend on who is answering the phone at that time. But going back good is wonderful and very good quality we definitely order here again and again
Amazing Chinese food take out delivery and eat in. The duck is the best dish in the restaurant but it doesn't travel well. The lunch specials are huge and at least 2 meals.
Tasty and not fancy. Definitely solid and would go back.
Food is always fresh and delicious. Made to order. Would have been 5 stars ,but one time orange chicken sauce wasn't up to par, but never been an issue since. My family loves the food.
We tried this place when it opened and we vowed to never go back. How do you mess up fried rice? We tried it again after a year or two and it's now our go to Chinese place. It greatly improved. The food is always consistent. The staff are usually nice. We always get it to go so cant comment on wait times in the restaurant.
One of the best chinese restaurants in the Tri-Valley area. Food is very good and pricing is reasonable. Been coming here since it opened. Wor won ton soup is excellent, more than enough for 2-people to share. A meal in itself. They even add calamari/squid in it (nice touch, since most do not include this). Speaking of soup, their hot/sour soup is also excellent. Just enough spice and tartness. Their luncheon specials are very good. Haven't had one I did not like (though I am partial to their scrumptious mongolian beef). Reasonably priced and lots of food (you won't leave here from lunch and be hungry, at all). Their chinese chicken salad is one of the best I have ever had. It, too, is more than enough for 2 to share. About the only food item I'm "iffy" on, is the pot stickers. They're a bit 'doughy' and dry. You need both chilli paste and vinegar to moisten them up a bit. Taste is still good, though. I gave them 4-stars (and not 5) because when it gets busy, service is a bit spotty. I think they're almost always understaffed, especially for the lunch crowd.
In the Lucky's and Walgreen's shopping center at the border between San Ramon and Dublin, Peking Delight serves delicious, reasonably priced Chinese food. Portions are plentiful. Service is fast and efficient. Huge daily Lunch Special Menu to choose from which includes, besides the entree, Hot and Sour Soup, white rice or fried rice or chow mein. Peking Delight also offers a 3 dishes + soup (Westlake Soup is my favorite) for $23. If you know how to order, the food here is authentically Chinese. Saves us a trip from driving to Oakland Chinatown.
Had an order of the Braised To-Fu lunch special (~$6): stir-fried tofu w/appetizer & steamed rice. Food was delicious, staff was pleasant, and the ambiance was consistent.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurant. The service is good. The place is clean. The food is excellent!
Returned after a couple of years. Placed order online and payed at the restaurant. The wonton soup had a good number of wontons and House fried rice was not too oily and seasoned perfectly. The lemon chicken had large pieces of breaded chicken which was perfect! -The lemon sauce was also separated from the breaded chicken which kept the chicken from getting soggy. Tomato beef had large tomatoes and small pieces of beef, I found it too be a little heavy on the sauce. Chow mien was a little on the oily side, but tasted good. We will be back.
Open late. Traditional Chinese dishes. Very clean. Bring a group and enjoy large portions.

Hit or miss restaurant unless you really know what you are ordering. Staff wasn't too friendly. Fish was good, but not the Mongolian chicken.
Just your average Chinese place. The value here is really good, with a dinner special of 3 plates for $25 (at the time of this post). The amount of food that you got was enough for at least 3 people, and really if you needed more food, you can just get a appetizer. Foods not bad, just nothing really to make the news about.
I tried Peking Delight today for the first time and had their lunch special. I ordered Cashew Chicken with fried rice. The restaurant is pretty small and at lunch, only 5 tables full. Being completely honest, ALL the food was bland. The hot and sour soup was pretty thick/gooey and Luke warm. The fried rice was luke warm and pretty flavorless as well. The cashew chicken was ok for a stir fry but had no recognizable Chinese flavors...very bland! I may visit again, but I will try something spicy. Before calling Peking Delight is a bust, I will wait till next time I try again.
Price is cheap. However, I think Panda Express can make better Chinese food than this place. Not exaggerating. Service was lacking as well. I get it, it’s a Chinese place, not a 4-5 star restaurant. However, there’s a certain standard we expect from these kind of restaurants, and they barely even met that kind of standard.
No a fan. We stopped in on a whim and ordered 3 items for take out(vegetable chow mein, chicken and green beans, and hot and sour soup). The soup was the most flavorful of the three. The other 2 items were so bland and oily I could barley eat them. I was hopeful that this establishment was yummy based on the fact that when we walked in there were several tables full of people. Perhaps if we would have eaten in the food would have been different? Not sure if I'll give it another go though.
Ordered General's chicken, which is supposed to a boneless fried chicken in spicy sauce. Got some flavorless chicken pieces from random parts of the chicken with some bone and cartilage in it and lots of rice and broccoli. Would not recommend. At least they gave a good portion of rice and two fortune cookies, that's why they get 2 stars instead of 1.
At first this place seemed like a nice place for a quick takeout after work. I walked in and I ordered combination fried rice and honey walnut prawns. What I got was very bland and weirdly flavored fried rice with bits of chicken, and very small dark meat pieces that tasted like anchovies. The honey walnut prawns weren’t even mixed together. They separated the ingredients for us to mix when we got home. To me that was very strange but okay. I don’t recommend this place. Not tasty and not very good service. We waited outside after being told, 10 minutes. I went shopping next door and came back 15 minutes later. My husband went in and the lady was on her phone and my husband asked her if our order was ready (he informed her that we would be sitting outside on their outdoor chairs). She was like, OH! Oh yeah, here you go. We spent $37.00. Again, I don’t recommend this place for the food or service.
Its is a mid range food. Not too spicy not bland. Service is fast though

The service has gone down greatly because the restaurant is too successful in volume. So now they don't care about customers. They don't know how to treat customers properly. Politeness and promptiness is not there. Let alone warmth. I've come here for a decade already and probably poured tens of thousands of dollars into this place and they just lost my business because of multiple incidents of recent bad behavior. Not to mention they are overpriced. The
I paid for beef broccoli & never had issue before. If you order take out, Chek your food. The entire order had to be tossed. Money down the drain. Oh, & I was given Hong Kong coins as change. Pass!
Don't order online. I ordered and they give you a time to pick for when your order is ready. I got there 2 minutes before the time and ended up waiting another 25 minutes for the food. People who were sitting in the restaurant and ordered after I got there were already eating their food when my order was finally ready. We ordered 2 pan fried Chow Mein. We have ordered this several times from them and we always ask that they separate the sauce so that it doesn't get soggy. They told us last time we don't need to ask for it to be separate because they always separate it. You pay extra for the pan fried noodles. So of course they didn't separate it this time and so not only did the food take forever it's also soggy which in my opinion ruins the dish. This was our first and last time ordering the food online.
Food was priced on the medium to high end for Chinese. Generals Chicken was not the typical American style, in addition to lacking flavor or heat.
Today I decided to try out this Chinese restaurant. I bought chicken in spicy garlic sauce which was pretty good. It had a good tangy flavor. The chicken was good quality and tender. I also got hot and sour soup. Unfortunately the soup was not good because there was so too much pepper in it. It was extremely over spiced and very salty. The other two people who tried the soup agreed that it was too spiced up. This was sad because the ingredients that the restaurant uses appear to be good quality and fresh. I would still go back but would not get that soup again. Hopefully this was helpful and sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings.

The food is good but costumer service needs improvement. We’ve always enjoyed the food though.
I went to order take out Sunday evening on 9 th April . The rude woman that took my order wasn’t polite or had any customer service at all . Frist time ordered and the last time . Never again . Please go and train your staff .
They don’t wash their hands cashier unprofessional talking to me with her mouth full of food chaumain had white black hair never again Q/A should come and check this place
It was my first time here, I ordered lemon chicken and steamed rice for takeout. Unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations as it lacked freshness. Regrettably, this experience has led me to decide against returning to this place.
We get here at 8pm(they close at 8:30pm) on a weekend and walk in to two people sitting on their hands with restaurant completely empty as usual and they say, “sorry you can’t dine in as the kitchen needs to be cleaned for next 30 mins and we need to leave at 8:30 when we close”. What a joke! No wonder the restaurant is almost out of business. Now this is a family run establishment. Can’t image how worse would the experience be if it wasn’t. Change your closing hours to 8pm if you need to leave by 8:30.
Very unfriendly stuff not welcoming at all. We mentioned that we were going to sit outside and we were not allowed to have water or soup , which came with our meal. Upon asking questions about the menu we were just stared at and our questions were never answered. When our food was delivered to us outside another staff member was rude and very unfriendly. I do not recommend this restaurant.
I ordered a lunch plate of schezwan chicken lunch. Apparently, they keep everything pre-cooked so cannot change anything. Replacing anything will cost five dollars extra. The large IT’S itself was overpriced. $15 and the guy asked five dollars extra for substitute. So basically, the launch will become $25-$30 with extremely bad quality food. The chicken was extremely sweet and greasy Tasted really bad. Even the white rice was not fresh. I somehow finished some food and went to pay the bill. Before Even I submitted the signed receipt the lady told me to fill up the Tips section. As per the environment goes, it’s noisy and dirty to some extent. The servers seating there and cutting vegetables And shouting over the phone. Overall, I have no idea why I will go back here when there is a very, very decent Chinese Junction within a couple of minutes drive.
I had a take out Singapore noodles as I bit down a broken glass was in my food. I will never come back were I could've cut my gums.
This restaurant used to be very good. They have progressively gone down hill. The food doesn’t taste very fresh anymore, the portions have shrunk and the prices have increased and they seem to use a lot of sauce to cover up the flavor of the dish they are preparing. The chicken doesn’t taste very fresh at all and the prawns are soft and mushy which leads me to believe they are old! I mentioned something to the owner and rather than taking corrective criticism, he wanted to argue. Go argue with a fencepost! There are much better other Chinese restaurants in the area. I will not waste my time returning to a less than sub par restaurant!
